I expect Dierks record to be available on Itunes preorder tonight. When you type in Dierks Bentley Riser it comes up to a blank dierks page ( Indication that are possibly adding tonight I would think) If they weren't it would come up to a page saying cannot be found. If it does come out hopefully they have full previews! Love what i'm hearing on Instagram. Yep, goes for pre-order tomorrow!

Well they uploaded the Riser record with previews and... February 25th can't get here fast enough! I don't say this as just a Dierks fanboy, but this could very well be his best record yet and a game changer! Much like Jon Pardi's recent album, there isn't a song that I don't like on this record. Everything is great ( even some of the party stuff).

I just listened to the Dierks previews as well and they sound really good. There's hardly any stuff that I would label a 'party' song ("Pretty Girls" is slightly party-ish, "Drunk On A Plane" is exactly what you would guess based on the title, and then there's "Back Porch" but that's really just about pickin' out on the back porch more than anything else). Based off the previews the only song I don't really like is "Drunk On A Plane" but I never figured I would like that one. I'll still give it some more chances, though.
The title track is pretty good and I liked "Five" quite a bit. I love the lyrics to "Sounds Of Summer", that one sounds like it could be a big radio hit. "Damn These Dreams" and "Hurt Somebody" sound like great, great ballads.

I think Back Porch is an obvious choice for the next single, going into summer. I feel like he brought it from the EP for a reason, and he's added it back into his setlist.
Drunk on a Plane is funny and I like his wry delivery, but it screams novelty to me - to me, it's this album's "Diamonds Make Babies."
Everything else sounds REALLY good. The songs I was worried about being lame pandering bro-ish songs (most notably Pretty Girls) are nothing like what I was expecting, whew. Really excited to hear all of Say You Do, Damn These Dreams, Five and Hurt Somebody.

I could see "Back Porch" being the next single. I like the song well enough but I like what I'm hearing of "Sounds Of Summer" much better. If I had it my way, they'd release SoS next, then a re-release of "Bourbon In Kentucky", followed by whatever else they want as a potential 5th single (but really it would be 4th in this hypothetical scenario, since I have BIK getting re-released)

Dierks has said he wants Riser as a single - I suspect it will close the era. And amen to a BiK re-release. Right there with you.

Just listen to the previews of Dierks' album, and I loved what I heard. "Drunk On A Plane" is certainly the most silly song on the record but even that one works for me. I liked "Sounds Of Summer", "Riser", "Damn These Dreams", and "Say You Do", but my favorite was "Here On Earth". I loved that song. I don't know if it will ever be a single but I hope so. The hook line is awesome and killer lyrics. That might be one of my favorites of Dierks I ever heard.

She had said in interviews she had been in Nashville working on a Singer Songwriter type album. So far she had writing sessions with John Rich, Kix Brooks, Kip Moore, Dallas Austin (not country), Anya Marina and Tristan Prettyman (not country also). One song that she said will be on the album is called My Father's Daughter and she performed it at the Opry a few days ago:

Was sent both Eric Paslay and Dierks Bentley albums today. Paslay's is great. "Song About A Girl" has to be the next single. It basically throws 'bro country' under the bus in the first verse. The rest of this record is really good. Forgot how great "Never Really Wanted" was.
As for Dierks, Haven't listened intently yet but sounds like a very good album so far. :)

Excited for a new Jewel album. Even though I didn't really become a fan of her until she went country, I'll still be interested in new music from her as I adore her voice. That said, I hope her new project still retains some of those country elements... given the writers she's collaborated with, it seems she might. Her two country projects are some fantastic CDs, imo. Shame she only got one real hit at the format.

Mine shipped out today! Can't wait to get it! I'm not expecting it before 2 weeks from now. I've ordered from there 3 or 4 times and it usually takes that long.

If Sara is going back to her originally scheduled release date that's perfect my birthday is the next day and I've been a fan of hers for a while now

What is the obsession with the title "Day Drinkin'"? Parmalee, LBT, now Jerrod all in a 3 month span.
