How can "Paris" on Faith Hill's new CD be considered a "hidden track" when its title is listed on the CD and insert booklet, the lyrics are provided in the insert booklet, and although it is not listed as track 14, the digital index lists it as track 14 with its proper title, and the song begins at the beginning of track 14.
There is 10 seconds of silence and another 15 seconds of low level intro to the song featuring a recording of a French telephone call at the end of track 13, but that really doesn't make it a hidden track, does it?
Is there an official RIAA or other definition of a hidden track? I thought it had to be at least hard to find.

I don't have the CD, but when i've seen the back cover in the store, it has the first 13 tracks listed with numbers, some white space, and then a bit lower is a little tiny figure of the Eiffel Tower next to the title "Paris". And when I listened to the album on MSN there was a bit of a phone conversation type thing before it, but I thought that was just an interlude. I wouldn't consider it a hidden track, but i'm not sure what's techinically considered. At least it's on all copies of the album; unlike what i've heard that the new Rascal Flatts song was originally only on copies bought at Target.

Actually, it is not being called a 'hidden' track by Faith or the label; they are referring to it as a 'bonus' track...

The Rascal Flatts song is on all of the cd's. There were other "early" tracks recorded before the boys took off that were spread out among the different outlets.

Her website kind of... sucks :) On the Highway 16 CD premiere, Faith said it is not hidden, but bonus. She felt the song stoof apart from the other songs and wanted to keep it seperate somehow...
