1. Let It Go- Zac Brown Band (2) Let It Go by Zac Brown Band? I think I got ahead of myself when I typed that! The #1 song on the chart was Let It Go by George Strait so I kinda merged those two together for my #1 vote here!

In other words, this chart is basically a digest of what's popular in country? Shouldn't we be allowed to chart country songs that have not an adds date? Or that aren't charting? I would think there are many artists who release country music, but don't release singles. Anyway, I had to tweak my chart at M4BCC to fit it in here. One more thing, if we're charting a song, and this peaks and is dropped from the official chart, are we allowed to keep on charting it? or do we have to remove it from our charts?
1.- Zac Brown Band - Beautiful Drug 2.- Thomas Rhett - Crash And Burn 3.- Sam Hunt - House Party 4.- Kelsea Ballerini - Dibs 5.- Canaan Smith - Hole In a Bottle 6.- Billy Currington - Drinking Town With a Football Problem 7.- Sam Hunt - Break Up In a Small Town 8.- Andy Grammer & Eli Young Band - Honey I'm Good 9.- Kacey Musgraves - Dime Store Cowgirl 10.- Reba McEntire - Until They Don't Love You
As far as I know, all these songs have or had an adds date and are charting or will be released to country radio. In case any song fails to be approved, then you can use Jana Kramer's "I Got The Boy"

Yeah, I read it :) Still, it doesn't clarify what my questions are about. So, songs without being released as singles are not eligible? Well, that's fir sure, what I mean is: Some artists maybe shoot a video to promote, but don't really promote the songs to radio, since they know it's a waste of time if they're gonna be ignored. They focus on getting the album promoted, play concerts and stuff. Such songs for promotion are definitely not able to be included in our charts? Why not? Why do we have to be restricted by only choosing from the country music that is already popular? Don't many of you guys complain about the bad state of country music? The rules for this chart (the personal ones) clearly favor the songs that have already proven that they are hit material. In most genres, there are artists that never manage to break out, and now they are basically 'banned' to be included? I mean, some artists rely on word of mouth. Sometimes, things as simple as a mention on a forum, can lead to others checking said artist. This should be a chart where all country music can be accepted. I know that would restrict me from charting Beautiful Drug or Crash And Burn, but it would be good to include those obscure artists no one has heard of. Anyway, I won't bitch about this anymore, I'll just post my chart abiding by the rules. I just think that choosing ONLY singles is just a way to limit a personal chart way too much. It is personal, so it should include what we like, not just what radio feeds us. Whatever, i already rambled too much. Sorry about that. This is the last thing I say about this issue, I am always getting into fights at other forums for rules that exclude music. So, go on on your way, please just skip my post and shake your heads. I won't comment on this.

I won't comment on this. Basically, there has to be some guidelines or it becomes a free for all. Most of the Artists do actually give their songs an add date even though they know a song isn't going to chart. I would encourage you to check out trebor and his chart; he follows the rules and is still able to feature lots of great artists. Texan artist Wade Bowen even charted last week and Rainey Qualley has charted for weeks. I think our chart does a good job to convey the general Pulse love of country music right now. If you have any other questions, just holler.

Also, everything on your chart is good. They don't have to be charting to be on your chart; an add date just has to have been issued or they are listed on Billboards New and Active chart.

I have a quick question since I am new to this. I noticed looking back that in 2014 Terri Clark's "Some Songs" got some votes. How exactly does that work, since her music is no longer released in the U.S.? Are Canadian artists eligible for this? Or did she get some airplay on a secondary chart here? And where do you guys go to see which songs are charting on secondary charts?
Of course, I am mostly curious because if there is any way to include her latest single, "I Cheated On You", I am going to find it ;)

That's likely why there were votes cast for it. The Music Row chart has a in-depth list of secondary singles if you wish to include them. :)

Of course, I am mostly curious because if there is any way to include her latest single, "I Cheated On You", I am going to find it ;) "Some Songs" I believe had a thread started for it back in 2014, but it really shouldn't have since it was a Canadian only release. That's likely why there were votes cast for it. The Music Row chart has a in-depth list of secondary singles if you wish to include them. :) I imagine it got some airplay in the U.S. though because of her affiliation with being a radio personality. I know that "I Cheated On You" got some decent spins for that reason, so I'm sure "Some Songs" probably did too.

The chart is up for the week. A swift run to the top for Keith Urban, who arrives at the top spot in just five weeks. Big leaps for Chris Young, Maddie+Tae, Kenny Chesney, Miranda and Kelsea. Four debuts: Thomas Rhett, ZBB, Carrie Underwood and Reba. ZBB joins Kelsea and Sam as the only artists to have two songs on the chart at the same time this year. Voting was even and is now open!
