This is the first year where I wasn't passionate about a single #1 on the Hot 100. None of these come close to being a "favorite," but I guess "Diamonds" is the one I low key enjoy the most. Bruno Mars in second place, which imo shows the severity of the situation.

I either enjoyed some of these songs or didn't really care for them. I admire the diversity this past year, but a lot of the songs were mediocre, TBQH. I suppose 'Blurred Lines' is the winner.

Right now, there's only three that I remember liking last year: "Diamonds", "Locked Out of Heaven", and "Just Give Me a Reason". You'll have to pardon what I say about the rest of these, so if you wanna ignore this, be my guest...
"Thrift Shop" was an uncontrollable disaster and made me wanna tear up my car inside out whenever I hear it. It doesn't help that I can't stand Macklemore's personality neither, but I will admit to jamming to his other #1 hit "Can't Hold Us" on occasion. "Harlem Shake" shouldn't have happened. At all. "Blurred Lines" and "Royals" are massively overrated; "Wrecking Ball" is as well, but to a lesser degree. "Roar" was decent enough, but very overplayed, even to this day in my area.

"Royals" by far. "Just Give Me A Reason", "Can't Hold Us", "Roar", and "Thrift Shop" would be next.

Miley and Robin are the only ones here I've ever liked. The rest... eek, same. I mean I can tolerate 'Royals' and 'Locked Out of Heaven' once in a blue moon, but overall this was a shit year wasn't it?

Miley and Robin are the only ones here I've ever liked. The rest... This + the Pink/Nate Ruess collab for me, but that one got old pretty fast. I can only listen to "Wrecking Ball" anymore without getting annoyed. BL is dead to me. So Miley wins.
