Good call! I love it and it deserved so much more. The self titled album is on my regular play list. Too bad they are no more. I'm sure you're talking about Whiskey Falls. :) It's a shame they only made one album. But Seven and Wally make music for many TV shows and commercials while Damon Johnson plays lead guitar for the spin off of the rock band Thin Lizzy; The Black Star Riders. He also played for Brother Cane and Alice Cooper. I think that they knew Whiskey Falls would be a temporary thing though but are still close friends. They have gotten back together a couple times to perform and make a couple new songs like "Rudolf Guide My Way" in 2011 for Christmas and last year for the iTunes single "Fast Talkin' Lover". "Falling Into You" was fantastic as well. It peaked at #39 on Mediabase in early 2008. Yes, indeed. Edited too much and the RFS (Restless Finger Syndrome) did the rest... :) Thanks for the additional info. Most of it I already was aware of. Will check out "Fast Talkin' Lover", though. PS: Thank you for showcasing Brian McComas in one of your earlier posts; and, generally, for taking time to dig up some really precious gems I had forgotten about.

XXL a guilty pleasure?!? No way, love it!!!
Thanks for finding the feed to Brian McComas and "All Comes Floodin' Down". Good song! Is it just me or do you not hear a little bit of Hey Pretty Girl (Kip Moore) in the melody and Hallelujah (Jeff Buckley) in the intro?

Random Videos Of The Day:
Artist: Little Big Town Single: "Good As Gone" Writers: Karen Fairchild, Kimberly Roads, Phillip Sweet, Jimi Westbrook, Wayne Kirkpatrick Album: The Road To Here Label: Equity Video Director: Chris Hicky Year Released: September 25th, 2006 Mediabase Peak: #17 Billboard Peak: #18
Artist: Jimmy Buffett Single: "Bama Breeze" Writers: Josh Kear, Chris Tompkins, Mark Irwin Album: Take The Weather With You Label: Mailboat/RCA Video Director: Trey Fanjoy Year Released: October, 2006 Mediabase Peak: #56 Billboard Peak: #58
The first video was probably one of Little Big Town's most forgotten singles. The follow up was "A Little More You" in 2007. The second video was actually the final charting single for Jimmy Buffett on the country charts. The song and video was a tribute for the fallen eateries and bar's around the gulf coast after hurricane Katrina. This was also the third ever single penned by Josh Kear and Chris Tompkins. The first two were "That's How They Do It In Dixie" by Hank Jr. and "Before He Cheats" by Carrie Underwood. Since then they've been two of the hottest writers in Nashville. Some of their singles include "Blown Away", "Helluva Life", 'Redneck Crazy", and "Kiss Me When I'm Down" by Gary Allan

Most of LoCash Cowboys' music I'm not a big fan of, but "Best Seat In The House" and "Keep In Mind" are the two exceptions. Definitely one of Jeffrey Steele's gems and he's had quite a few.

One of the few Miranda songs I like. Blaine's is one of the best songs out there, and of course a good one for Bobby.

Had a request a while back for an older song or two, so here's two. One from Doug Stone and is easily one of my all-time favorites. The other from Lionel Cartwright. Great idea for a song IMO and one of the best song titles ever. ;)

^Just yesterday I was listening to a Doug Stone playlist while doing chores around the house. I always enjoyed his early material and if I were to do a top five list of the songs that first got my attention growing up, "I'd Be Better Off In A Pine Box" would be near the top. Even today this song gives me the chills.

Random Of The Day: Part 1
Artist: Billy Joe Shaver f/Big & Rich Single: "Live Forever" Writers: Billy Joe Shaver, Eddy Shaver Album: Everybody's Brother Label: Compadre Records Video Director: Rick Schroder Year Released: October, 2005 Radio and Records Peak: Never Charted Billboard Peak: Never Charted
This was a single by Billy Joe Shaver in late 2005 off Compadre Records. Billy Joe is a well known veteran songwriter who has been writing and recording in Nashville for over 40 years. This song was first written and recorded by Billy in 1993. His son Eddy co-wrote the song. Eddy unfortunately passed away in 2000. Big & Rich helped Billy Joe for this version off his Everybody's Brother album in 2005.
One of those songs that are great but received virtually no airplay on country radio due to the label size and his age.
