"Summer" have just premiered on Capital FM and it's huge. Despite the beat drop is predictable and it looks like "Under Control", the first verse is the best thing ever. Those violins/strings! Holy crap.
PS. Seems that it had an early premiere on NRJ. You can listen to it here.

Today we shoot?!? Looks like Calvin is shooting the video for "Summer". However, when he decided to post shirtless photos? I know, it's not my business, but it seems weird though.
Calvin was with Tyson O'Brien in the last photo of the right and, according to his official site, he's a videographer and filmmaker, besides being a DJ, so he might be the director of the "Summer" music video. If this becomes true, looks like I was wrong when I implied that Emil Nava was.

Today, the "Summer" press release from PR Newswire was unveiled and it says the following:
Grammy-award winning international DJ, producer and hit songwriter Calvin Harris has just released his new single "Summer," available in the U.S. today: smarturl.it/CHSummer. Written and produced by Calvin, "Summer" features Calvin himself on vocals for the first time since his multi-million-selling global smash, "Feel So Close."
I know that he's not very well-known pre-"We Found Love" in the US, but I'm pissed that the tracks of his first two albums are ignored >:(
Also:
"Summer" highlights the same unique and vibrant mix of colossal dance beats and soaring scale that Calvin has made his own. The song is preceded by his most recent album, 18 Months. Declared a "hit parade" by Billboard, 18 Months has spawned five RIAA certified singles; in addition to "I Need Your Love" featuring Ellie Goulding and "Let's Go" receiving Platinum certifications, Calvin's chart-topping "Sweet Nothing" featuring Florence Welch of Florence + The Machine and "Feel So Close" have been certified two times Platinum. Calvin's worldwide hit, "We Found Love" featuring Rihanna, has been certified multi-platinum.
Finally, some confirmation regarding the RIAA certification of his 18 Months singles.
And:
In total, Calvin has sold over 2 million albums and more than 35 million singles worldwide.
Also, it seems that Eva Shaw is going to appear on the video as well.
On the other hand, Rita Ora was interviewed by Nick Grimshaw for Paper Magazine and she confirmed that she and Calvin did four songs for her sophomore album.

Calvin did a phone interview with Ryan Seacrest for On Air with Ryan Seacrest (duh!) and he talked about his success, the use of his vocals and how people (still) don't know about them (I mean, really?), his schedule and Rita Ora.

BTW, he's confirmed to be on Wango Tango in May 10.

The Official Charts has revealed the official Top 20 biggest selling tracks from Calvin Harris and there are so interesting details. You could see the full list here. Personally, I wasn't expecting to see "Off the Record" (Kind of forgettable~) and "Here 2 China" in the list tbh.

So, Calvin has tweeted that he's mixing his next single and it will feature someone else, unless he does the vocals again which I would love to though. Anyway, I don't know, but my bet goes to John Newman.

I'm going to guess Tove Lo, because I misread 'love to' in your post as that and in the 0.1% chance I turned out right I'd hate myself if I hadn't posted it!
I can't wait for this to be released. 18 months was one of the best edm album I have ever heard & I know this won't dissappoint me. Will it be better, hard to tell right now. :)
I wonder if the ten-character-username thing based on the question marks is legitimate.
I'm just wondering the same. If it's based by the ten-character-username on Twitter and the people who Calvin follows there, the only option is Cheryl Cole, which it would be great as well, but I doubt it since she's releasing a new song this summer and I don't know how well two songs where she's doing the vocals could handle at the same time.

Yeah I highly doubt it would be Cheryl considering he already did "Call My Name" for her...
Watch it be someone unexpected though...

But "Call My Name" was for her album and it wasn't intended, as far as I know, to be included on his. Anyway, I hope he could consider to do a collaboration with her for his new album tbh~
