YOUR TOP 15: At midweek, The Boss is still the favorite to top next week's chart. Frozen, however, still remains a potential spoiler. With the upcoming Monday holiday, another strong weekend could mean a three-peat at #1 for Disney's soundtrack, which today added an Oscar song nomination to its treasure chest. Here's how it looks headed into the weekend: 1. Bruce Springsteen (Columbia) 95-100k 2. Frozen (Walt Disney) 80-85k 3. Kidz Bop Kids (Razor & Tie) 60-65k 4. Beyoncé (Columbia) 55-60k 5. Jennifer Nettles (Mercury Nashville) 45-50k 6. Switchfoot (Atlantic) 35-40k 7. Lorde (Lava/Republic) 27-30k 8. Eminem (Shady/Aftermath/Interscope) 27-30k 9. Katy Perry (Capitol) 20-22k 10. Imagine Dragons (KidinaKorner/Interscope) 18-20k 11. Kid Ink (RCA) 16-18k 12. Jon Pardi (Capitol Nashville) 16-18k 13. One Direction (SYCO/Columbia) 16-18k 14. Inside Llewyn Davis (Nonesuch) 15-17k 15. Miley Cyrus (RCA) 15-17k In other news, the Oscars completely snubbed the Gov. Chris Christie documentary, A Bridge Not Far Enough. (1/16p)YOUR NEW RELEASES: Bruce Springsteen has High Hopes to top next week's chart with what could be the first #1 debut of 2014. But keep an eye on Frozen, which performed strongly over the weekend. Can the soundtrack pull off another upset? Stay tuned. Here are this week's key debuts: Bruce Springsteen (Columbia) 90-100k Kidz Bop Kids (Razor & Tie) 55-60k Jennifer Nettles (Mercury Nashville) 50-55k Switchfoot (Atlantic) 35-40k Jon Pardi (Capitol Nashville) 20-25k Rosanne Cash (Blue Note) 14-17k In a related story: Bruuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuce! Hopefully "Frozen" doesn't snatch Bruce's hairpiece off this week.
And not the Kidz Bop Kids getting another smash album. Soon Pitbull will want to collaborate with them (for real).

The Oscar nominations are tomorrow and this upcoming weekend is the MLK weekend so it'll be interesting to see how much of a boost the Frozen soundtrack will get this week.

Not to get off topic, but it amazes me how much talk there's been in the past couple of days about Frozen getting a Best Picture nom... It feels like a 0.000% chance to me but who knows?

That said, and back on topic, it's incredible to think that there's still a big enough market left for this movie that a nomination would keep the soundtrack on top of the chart..

Exactly, the film would have to be transcendent for 5% of Oscar voters (remember this is not the general public) to rank it as #1 over the other films from the year.

Bruce Springsteen Heading for Top Debut on Billboard 200 ChartBruce Springsteen has a chance to earn his 11th No. 1 album next week on the Billboard 200 chart -- though the soundtrack to "Frozen" might block the Boss.According to industry prognosticators, Springsteen's new album "High Hopes" may sell somewhere between 90,000 to 100,000 copies by the end of the tracking week on January 19. The set was released on January 14 through Columbia Records. The new Billboard 200's top 10 will be revealed on Wednesday, Jan. 22. Meanwhile, the Billboard 200's current No. 1, "Frozen," might sell over 90,000 as well. "Frozen's" forecasted figure is more prone to fluctuate, as it is generally harder to predict sales of non-new releases. And, as noted this past week, "Frozen" performed stronger than expected in the week ending January 12 -- selling 86,000 copies according to Nielsen SoundScan (about 5,000 to 10,000 more than forecast a week ago).If "High Hopes" hits No. 1, Springsteen will break out of a tie for the third-most No. 1s in the chart's history. He's presently tied for third with Elvis Presley. Ahead of them is Jay Z, with 13, and the Beatles, with 19. Springsteen's last album, 2012's "Wrecking Ball," debuted at No. 1 with 196,000 sold in its first week. Before that, his last studio set, 2009's "Working On a Dream," opened at No. 1 with 224,000. Other albums aiming for high debuts on the Billboard 200 chart next week include the "Kidz Bop 25" album (maybe 60,000) and Jennifer Nettles' solo debut "That Girl" (50,000-ish).

The Bruce album is really not a new studio album. I thought it was so I'm not surprised now with its estimate.

^I believe there's stuff on there that never had a proper studio release and it also features the late Clarence Clemons.

Bruce's parody duet with Jimmy Fallon about Gov. Chris Christie is going viral so that could give Bruce a tiny boost.

That Bruce album is pretty much fanbase album only so I'd be glad if Frozen were #1.

11 through the current chart. This would be 12 and already more than Teenage Dream's entire run.
