It has been announced that this is gonna be her 2nd single. Some say it's already at radio but my local station doesn't play her. I would have thought they would have gone with an original instead of a remake for a 2nd single, but guess not.
The song is #125 on Mediabase right now with only 8 spins so who knows wheather or not it's out to radio yet? "I Break Things", her debut single is at #145. Does anyone know where it peaked? I really don't think her career is gonna be as big as originally anticipated- although she has the voice to be a Superstar, she has the wrong label and we can see an example through Katrina Elam.

Don't forget Allison Moorer....one of the best out there...she was on that crappy label as well. As for Erika Jo, I agree alot with what you said. She does have a great, powerful voice and for as rushed as her CD was, it's very good. I first heard this song done by Elizabeth Cook and I liked it then but I do prefer Erika Jo's version. I LOVE this song, but it's not radio friendly in the least and isn't going to make a dent anywhere.

"I Break Things", her debut single is at #145. Does anyone know where it peaked? Not sure about R&R, but "I Break Things" peaked at #53 on Billboard. It was only on the chart for one week (which was the week immediately following the final of Nashville Star).

This single choice will ruin what chance she had at a career IMHO. Bad, bad idea.

Yep- with songs like "Go" and the powerful "Love Is", her record label made a mistake on picking this remake...remakes never do that well and I really don't think they would do well AT ALL with an artist as new as Erika Jo.
