Just thought I'd mention that this has 20 adds so far with 50.6% of the panel reporting.
Maybe if TIWIFL went for adds, its climb would have been faster like this might be.

One clue was that when "This Is What It Feels Like" was climbing towards the top 30, it had a higher AI than most songs that was ahead of it from the 20's and late teens. It easily would've made it to the top 20. Also the fact that Armada North America label is new to the american market didn't help but it's a start. Armin's previous label in the U.S. was Ultra Records which probably couldv'e pushed it better but they can be incompetent at times. What will definitely help Tiesto's "Red Lights" and his future releases is the Casablanca/Republic record label.

Surprised no one mentioned that it's number one on the U.S. Hot Dance/Mixshow Airplay chart. It's his second in that chart. His first was in 2009 with song "I Will Be Here" featuring Sneaky Sound System. Also number one on the FMQB chart for a few weeks now.

Trying to get used to the new All Access/Mediabase sound to it.

By the way, this is the vocalist of the song, Michel Zitron: He also co-wrote this song, as well as Swedish House Mafia's "Don't You Worry Child" and "Save The World", Avicii's "Fade Into Darkness", and John Martin's own "Anywhere For You".

Heh, until you posted that I was under the impression that Tiesto was in fact singing it himself.

Heh, until you posted that I was under the impression that Tiesto was in fact singing it himself. Haha, it bugged me that for weeks, I couldn't find any trace of who was singing this song. Even if an artist is uncredited, it's always usually mentioned somewhere. Though DJ's singing their own songs wouldn't be uncommon (see Sonique, Calvin Harris, and most recently...):

Thanks! I had asked who the vocalist was in the dance section. He looks different than I would have expected!

She just happened to be one of the rare producer DJ's who regularly sang on her tracks as well (like Calvin did up until "Feel So Close").

Pretty obvious that Tiesto wasn't the one singing. I've seen how Tiesto talks in interviews and stuff and he has that deep voice. No way he was the singer in "Red Lights".
Other producers and/or DJ's that sings their songs are BT, Dillinja, Daft Punk (using vocoders android machinery style), ill-esha, Borgore, Ali Love.
I remember in one interview where Paul van Dyk wished he can sing in some of his songs.

Martin Solveig also did all the vocals on the great "The Night Out" a few years ago:
And most of "Hey Now" from last year too.

Yep Martin Solveig is another one. Two more here. DJ Vika Jigulina who sang "Stereo Love" with Edward Maya and had her own song "Memories" and german DJ/producer Sash! with the song " Colour The World".

at me not knowing she was a DJ. But that shows how the number of female DJ's is still smaller than the men. There's NERVO, Tracy Young, Sister Bliss, Sonique, and a few more I can't think of...

OMG I forgot about NERVO!!! :o I'm a fan of them. How did I missed that. Sweden's Rebecca & Fiona are also female duo DJ's/Producers that sings as well. They did a song with Kaskade called "Turn It Down" and of course their own " Bullets".

Go Tiesto! You know it's a bit strange that Z100 added "Red Lights" first than WKTU. Since they both compliment eachother using strategy by Clears Channel in NYC, WKTU usually adds an EDM song or dance song that's about to crossover first than Z100. My guess is that KTU will add it eventually but it's nice to see that they're still incompetent after all these years LOL.
Meh at least WNOW seems to do a bit better job:
