Do they post these anywhere? I'm talking about the rules regarding going recurrent, etc.

I believe that the recurrent rule for country is that a song is moved to recurrent once it has spent 3 consecutive weeks without a bullet and below #1.

I thought that was for Billboard.

BB's recurrent rules are:
1) Song is on the chart for more than 20 weeks 2) Song is declining in audience 3) Song is below #15 in audience or spins
The #2 rule is rather vague, as a song can stay on without a bullet if it is a small decrease. Usually, if the song is in its 2nd week without a bullet, it will be pulled even if it is a very small drop - but if it is the first week without a bullet, it can have decreases as long as they are small.

This was evidenced by Shooter Jennings's 4th of July last week. It dropped from30-32 I think, now this week it's back up to 34 but with a bullet this week. KikiMet's statement regarding R&Rs recurrent rule, as asinine as it is, is 100% correct.

KikiMet's statement regarding R&Rs recurrent rule, as asinine as it is, is 100% correct. LOL. It's always puzzled me why all of the other formats have a recurrent rule that's "x total weeks on the chart, below #y" and country has a completely different rule.

Lon Helton probably has an answer to that. I just wish I knew that answer!
