Thank you for posting.
Btw, Stay The Night should be in its 17th week (but not 7th).

So the chart has been bookended by duos this week: Katy and Juicy on top, and Malcolm & Tony of MKTO on the bottom. The power couple of Beyonce and Jay-Z replace their previous hits with one of them together showing that divided they fall but united they stand. Interestingly, this is the first chart without Justin Timberlake since Suit & Tie over a year ago. Maybe the recent release of "Not A Bad Thing" can change that? With "Sweater Weather" hanging on, it takes the crown as the longest-surviving song on the chart, at 28 weeks. "Wake Me Up" stays within the top 20, while both Avicii and Aloe Blacc, both contributors to the song, seem to be reaching that tide as we speak. Both solo singles are next to each other as well. Ellie takes #2 after unofficially peaking there last Wednesday. Proof that AT40 seems to be taking a mid-week chart in place of the published one. Then again, with "Don't You Worry Child" rising to the top and "Come & Get It" failing to when the reverse happened on Mediabase, anything is possible. Lol at 18-16. It's like how you describe a one-night stand in three songs: take me home, stay the night and wake me up. Too bad "Talk Dirty" is way above them. It's international love in the top 10: five of these artists are not even American! (Bastille, Passenger, Lorde, 1D and Ellie: strangely, Ellie is the only artist who uses her real name, not counting the bands.) And of course when Lorde says "we're on each other's team", she's not kidding: One Direction and One Republic are right next to each other. (And the cockroach formally known as "Dynamite" is back...)

Glad to see Ellie grab the number two spot this week despite falling just short on Mediabase. Considering that most people are more familiar with the AT40 chart over Mediabase, I would still consider this song a #2 peak on an official chart.
Interesting though that this chart now seems to be only a week behind instead of the usual two weeks behind. This means we'll see a slow week or two coming up, and the chart will eventually be two or more weeks behind again!

Lol at 18-16. It's like how you describe a one-night stand in three songs: take me home, stay the night and wake me up. Hah, not the first time this sort of thing has happened. From 1/24/09: 21 #20 (04) Pink "Sober" 19 #19 (12) Rihanna Feat Justin Timberlake "Rehab" 16 #18 (18) Saving Abel "Addicted" Kind of funny to see these songs back-to-back-to-back. Anyone else see a theme, here? Unfortunately, I'd be willing to bet that the themed trio are not all in one segment this time.

Yes. There was a commercial break in between the John Legend song and "Stay The Night".

So why was Ryan constantly mentioning his tenth anniversary hosting, this week? The, actual, anniversary was almost two months ago. Is he just remembering, now?

I wonder if this is the first time we've ever had two artists (who are married in real life, no less) debuting together while falling out separately, or vice versa? Meanwhile, we barely miss the rare feat of having the same artist start and end the countdown (if "Roar" had slipped one more notch that would have done it.) The Two For One was kind of a curveball, as Christina Aguilera is not only not the main artist on "Say Something", but her own chosen track ("Your Body") wasn't a big hit.
By my count, 15 of the lead artists (not counting features) on this week's top 40 are foreign acts, with Canada, Britain (both England and Scotland), Sweden, Germany, New Zealand, Colombia, and the Netherlands all represented. (Personal aside: I've vacationed in four of those countries: Canada, England, Germany, and the Netherlands.)

February 26, 2014 is the 10th anniversary of "On Air with Ryan Seacrest", Ryan's morning show on 102.7 KIIS-FM Los Angeles. Here is the 10th anniversary video "Happy" by Ryan, Ellen K, and their team. www.youtube.com/watch?v=YImup67BRac

The Two For One was kind of a curveball, as Christina Aguilera is not only not the main artist on "Say Something", but her own chosen track ("Your Body") wasn't a big hit. She's credited as co-lead, though. And going with "Your Body" just strikes me as a lazy choice cause it's her most recent AT40 hit prior to this.

We still have "Feel This Moment".

It'll be nice to hear something that wasn't that big of a hit. A song like "Your Body," which hardly has any recurrent play, isn't likely to ever get played again on AT40 (or anywhere else), especially as an optional, since it did even worse on Hot AC. It's a better choice than, say, "Beautiful," which has been played to death in the past 11 years.

That chart looks fresh. I can't wait to hear it, which I can on Sunday.
Was there ever a time on AT40 where an artist had a #1 song while another song by the same artist was at #40? If so, when was the last time?

If so, when was the last time? I do know on Casey Kasem's original AT40, Michael Jackson had this feat on 9/19/1987 ("Bad" at #40, "I Just Can't Stop Loving You" at #1). Can't think of other times off the top of my head.

Plenty. :) I want to think the most recent was Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, #1 with "Can't Hold Us" when "Same Love" debuted - have to check to be 100% on that, though.

Ryan mentioned a number of times that it was his 10th anniversary of hosting THIS show, AT 40. There's even a contest in honor of it at their site. You can win a trip to stay at The Four Seasons in Bora Bora. He said that there are so many statistics from the 10 years including the shortest title: 3, and the most repetitions in a song "Imma Be" 106 times. It's like they just realized they should celebrate this anniversary more. Young Girls may become Bruno Mars' 13th consecutive top 10. Here's another Dark Horse, by George Harrison, that peaked at 15 on Billboard in '75. www.youtube.com/watch?v=vPnLXjx5qOg

I loved this show this week more so because of the mention of the 10 year anniversary of Ryan taking over as host on AT40. I liked how they played a clip from him on his first show 10 years ago of how he always listened to the show himself when Casy Kasem used to host the show. They should mention Casey a little more on AT40, because not only did he host the show for years, he did create the show along with Don Bustany.
