Attachment DeletedSo apparently the Roseland shows are NOT sold out. I had read an article that said they were inflating the sales to make it look like she was selling out everywhere. I figured it was the usual Examer-type BS. however, lo and behold, I went to ticketmaster and seats are now available. I went thru the process of checking to see what availability was and for each date I was able to readily find two tickets. I didn't actually buy them, but apparently tickets are available. They must have released some blocks of tickets because in the beginning when I was interested in going, I was not able to find seats. I doubt it was a case of inflating ticket sales.

I've been going to a lot of concerts this year and something I've noticed to a lot of the sell out shows is if go on ticket master a day or two before showtime there has been seats. Not just seats but GOOD seats. This happened recently with both P!nk and Justin Timberlake. I'm not sure why. Something I've considered though is scalpers returned tickets they couldn't sell?

At most shows here in Fort Lauderdale and Miami, they release side view seats the week before the show for low prices.

I think sometimes it's once the stage has finally been put in place, they realize they can add extra seats.

Or sometimes tickets are held for sponsors/execs/etc. and right before, they realize they won't use them all. I think it's safe to say the Roseland shows are generally sold out. The tour, however, may be a different story. I'm going in Atlantic City, I'll be curious to see how the room looks.
Seeing her Sunday at Roseland, cannot wait!

It is pretty common for shows (even "sold out" ones) to release more seats shortly before the show. I have went to "sold out" shows before by stalking tickets out in the week before the show. I am not sure why-like, are these blocks of tickets from scalpers or corporate? Not sure. Sold out is also a relative term. I know, for a fact, that several "sold out" tours and shows get to call themselves sold out just because the team has closed sections. Like, rope off 1000 or so seats, deem those sections unavailable, and then call it sold out instead of admitting that you didn't sell every possible ticket in the arena. The amount of seats also differs from show to show depending on what type of event it is or what type of stage is built. So, I think shows can be sold out, more or less, and still have some tickets left or not have sold every possible seat in the venue. This isn't a big deal. However, it is when you are falling far below expectations. Like, if Gaga only sells 50-75% of her tickets I will see that as a bad sign and the tour may struggle a bit. 80%+ with several sellouts or close to it? That is just fine. So far, the data seems to be trending toward her doing fine, but we will see. I have a bad feeling the tour will end up under-performing.

Usually there are less tickets sold for standing places than they could sell because of safety reasons.
I went to see Swedish House Mafia on their farewell tour and there was loads of space even though the gig was officially sold out.

That can't be right - Angela Cheng said that Live Nation has lost trillions of dollars on this tour.

Lady Gaga's failed tour is actually believed to be one of the main driving forces behind our national debt.

The wish card from Bey looks like something the Haus could come up with in case Gaga died.
