Sorry this got out so late! I started school yesterday, and then I had to go to work directly afterwards and I got home by 8:00 and was pooped. The same thing happened today, but it's Friday so I'll stay up. Next week should be posted on Thursday, but I do work again on Thursday, so who knows. Now the chart! LW | TW | Song + Artist | Peak | Plays | 1 | 1 | Back Home by: Andy Grammer | 1 (2) | 75 | 2 | 2 | Habits by: Tove Lo | 1 (13) | 148 | 3 | 3 | Headphones by: Matt Nathanson (feat. LOLO) | 2 | 63 | 5 | 4 | Resonance by: LuvBug (feat. Talay Riley) | 4 | 64 | 4 | 5 | Love Runs Out by: OneRepublic | 2 | 91 | 7 | 6 | 3005 by: Childish Gambino | 6 | 63 | 6 | 7 | Come With Me Now by: KONGOS | 5 | 58 | 8 | 8 | Never Stop by: SafetySuit | 1 (18) | 320 | 13 | 9 | Riptide by: Vance Joy | 8 | 77 | 9 | 10 | Options by: Luke James (feat. Rick Ross) | 6 | 63 | 11 | 11 | Life of the Party by: Wallpaper. | 2 | 142 | 12 | 12 | Am I Wrong by: Nico & Vinz | 11 | 47 | 17 | 13 | Dangerous by: Big Data (feat. Joywave) | 13 | 44 | 19 | 14 | Maps by: Maroon 5 | 14 | 45 | 10 | 15 | Rude by: MAGIC! | 2 | 103 | 16 | 16 | Pressure by: Youngblood Hawke | 1 (4) | 103 | 15 | 17 | Angel by: Theory of a Deadman | 15 | 31 | 14 | 18 | Words as Weapons by: Seether | 3 | 73 | D | 19 | It Was Always You by: Maroon 5 | 19 | 21 | 20 | 20 | Good as Gold by: Talay Riley (feat. Scorcher) | 1 (?) | 300 |
Notes: - "Back Home" by: Andy Grammer leads the charge this week for the second straight week. Next week could see a fall from #1, but not by "Habits", "Headphones", "Resonance", or something else on the chart. What could it be?
- The Top 3 stays the same as last week.
- "Resonance" by: LuvBug (feat. Talay Riley) rises 5-4 for a new peak. With the Top 3 starting to slow down, this could find itself in a nice position next week.
- "3005" by: Childish Gambino pushes 7-6 this week for a new peak. This will look to enter the Top 5 next week (I've said that before ).
- Vance Joy rips into the Top 10 with "Riptide" going 13-9 this week. Timing pretty much got this into the Top 10 again, as pretty much everything on the chart was slowed down this week, even with the extra day.
- The two debuts from last week, "Dangerous" by: Big Data (feat. Joywave) & "Maps" by: Maroon 5, go into the 13 & 14 spots respectively for new peaks. Both will look for Top 10 in the near future.
- "Rude" by: MAGIC! slides down 5 spots from the Top 10 to #15. This song has really burned on me (like so many others), so this could see the end of its day very soon.
- Maroon 5 scores another debut this week with "It Was Always You" entering at #19. I like this a lot better than "Maps", and I think this one could make a huge splash on the chart. Look for some big things with this.
- "Dirty Love" by: Wilkinson (feat. Talay Riley) drops off the chart from #18 after 2 short weeks on the chart. This looks pretty similar to Talay's own "Resonance" (w/ LuvBug) that had similar fate, and now finds itself at #4 on the chart. This should see a reentry in the near future.
- Sorry for the boring week. Nothing really moved except for a few songs. I found myself listening to the Foo Fighters for like 4 days straight lol.
On the Rise: "Superheroes" by: The Script "Lovers on the Sun" by: David Guetta (feat. Sam Martin) "Bailando" by: Enrique Iglesias (feat. Sean Paul, Descemer Bueno & Gente de Zona) "Fireball" by: Pitbull (feat. John Ryan) "Arrows" by: Fences (feat. Macklemore & Ryan Lewis) "Sweatpants" by: Childish Gambino Dropouts: "Dirty Love" by: Wilkinson (feat. Talay Riley) (from #18) Peak: 17

...So my laptop (where my iTunes is on) died. If I'm not able to retrieve any of my data from that computer, I might not be able to do the chart for awhile. I have over 3000+ songs and not all of them were purchased on iTunes, so I won't be able to get those back on a new computer. Hopefully I can fix this one, without any trouble or replacements, and I'll be able to redo the chart. The chart might not be up on Thursday. Nontheless, I will still report my #1 (w/ pro. picture & status) every week and probably replace my .gif in my signature and replace it with a Top 5.

There will be a chart tomorrow. My computer got the 'blue screen of death' so I have to go with an alternate way to do this. Explanation tomorrow. Due to work and school, I wasn't able to do this today. I still have homework to do lol.

And the chart lives on! So my laptop is completely dead, it has the "blue screen of death" which doesn't sound too promising that I will get everything back. I've DMing Dell Support back and forth, but they are really dumb lol. I might just say f*ck it and get a Macbook, but I wanna try and get all my stuff back. I have a good amount of my music saved on a USB from maybe back in March or so when I had to get it repaired, but new music (non-iTunes bought) would be a goner. So it might take awhile to get back on my feet with this. The one reason that I am able to do the chart is because of an app I found that tracks play count directly from my iPod (Music Stats on the App Store if you're interested) which is a main part of my chart. So most of you probably skipped over this anyways, so on to the exciting part, the chart! New #1!! LW | TW | Song + Artist | Peak | Plays | D | 1 | Edge of a Revolution by: Nickelback | 1 (1) | 45 | 2 | 2 | Habits by: Tove Lo | 1 (13) | 151 | 1 | 3 | Back Home by: Andy Grammer | 1 | 76 | 3 | 4 | Headphones by: Matt Nathanson (feat. LOLO) | 2 | 66 | 4 | 5 | Resonance by: LuvBug (feat. Talay Riley) | 4 | 65 | 6 | 6 | 3005 by: Childish Gambino | 6 | 63 | 8 | 7 | Never Stop by: SafetySuit | 1 (18) | 321 | 9 | 8 | Riptide by: Vance Joy | 8 | 79 | 7 | 9 | Come With Me Now by: KONGOS | 5 | 58 | 5 | 10 | Love Runs Out by: OneRepublic | 2 | 91 | 13 | 11 | Dangerous by: Big Data (feat. Joywave) | 11 | 45 | 14 | 12 | Maps by: Maroon 5 | 12 | 46 | 12 | 13 | Am I Wrong by: Nico & Vinz | 11 | 47 | 11 | 14 | Life of the Party by: Wallpaper. | 2 | 142 | 10 | 15 | Options by: Luke James (feat. Rick Ross) | 6 | 63 | 19 | 16 | It Was Always You by: Maroon 5 | 16 | 22 | 16 | 17 | Pressure by: Youngblood Hawke | 1 (4) | 103 | 18 | 18 | Words as Weapons by: Seether | 3 | 73 | 17 | 19 | Angel by: Theory of a Deadman | 15 | 31 | 15 | 20 | Rude by: MAGIC! | 2 | 103 |
Notes: - If you follow me on Twitter, this should come as no surprise. Nickelback debuts at #1 with "Edge of a Revolution" this week, pushing Andy Grammer's "Back Home" (1-3) away from the throne after sitting on it for 2 weeks. Nickelback arguably has had the best success on the chart to date. They have had 5 #1s (could be more) and numerous amounts of songs to chart, with a lot of them having big peaks. This is their 1st #1 since "When We Stand Together" debuted atop in 2011 ("Bottoms Up" debuted at #2 also), and their first entry since "Don't Ever Let It End" in 2012 peaking at #12. They are also the #1 most played artist on my iPod with an astounding 3,224 plays! This should probably hold down the #1 spot for a month before it could get challenged by their other single coming out "What Are You Waiting For".
- "Riptide" by: Vance Joy goes 9-8 to gain back its original peak. It peaked there before the 1st chart post here on Pulse! It has been seeing steady climbs the past few weeks, but probably because of little movement from the Top 20 altogether.
- "Love Runs Out" by: OneRepublic slides 5-10 this week. Originally looking good to replace "Habits" at the top, it has seen some dropping. The song won't landslide off the chart, as this should hang around in the second half of the chart for the foreseeable future ("Pressure").
- "Dangerous" by: Big Data (feat. Joywave) & "Maps" by: Maroon 5 move together again this week to the 11 & 12 spots for new peaks. Both should see the Top 10 next week, as it should be fairly easy to get in right now.
- Maroon 5 also gains a new peak with "It Was Always You" moving 19-16. This and "Maps" should see good success, but this will likely last a lot longer (pretty obvious why).
- "Rude" by: MAGIC! takes yet another steep fall, going 15-20 this week. It will more than likely be off the chart next week as next week should see a slew of debuts/re-entries with the 18-20 spots being VERY easy to takeover.
- A sad day today, "Good as Gold" by: Talay Riley (feat. Scorcher) leaves the chart for the 1st time since JULY OF 2011. This year was a tough year for it, as it nearly faced elimination almost every week... It pretty much stayed all this long due to bias reasons lol. Like stated before, this could see a re-entry next week with 18-20 being tossups.
On the Rise: "Superheroes" by: The Script "Lovers on the Sun" by: David Guetta (feat. Sam Martin) "Untraveled Road" by: Thousand Foot Krutch "Shut Up and Dance" by: WALK THE MOON "Bo$$" by: Fifth Harmony' "Sweatpants" by: Childish Gambino Dropouts: "Good as Gold" by: Talay Riley (feat. Scorcher) (from #20) Peak: 1 (?)

So I got a new computer! I'm trying my best to redownload all of my music and get some of my old stuff back, but it's a (tough) work in progress. I also need to figure out the plays of each song (major OCD lol). This is also the first time in a few weeks I've gone back to my original update day lol. The chart! LW | TW | Song + Artist | Peak | Plays | 1 | 1 | Edge of a Revolution by: Nickelback | 1 (2) | 58 | 2 | 2 | Habits by: Tove Lo | 1 (13) | 155 | 3 | 3 | Back Home by: Andy Grammer | 1 (2) | 79 | 5 | 4 | Resonance by: LuvBug (feat. Talay Riley) | 4 | 71 | 4 | 5 | Headphones by: Matt Nathanson (feat. LOLO) | 2 | 69 | 6 | 6 | 3005 by: Childish Gambino | 6 | 68 | 8 | 7 | Riptide by: Vance Joy | 7 | 82 | 12 | 8 | Maps by: Maroon 5 | 8 | 50 | 7 | 9 | Never Stop by: SafetySuit | 1 (18) | 321 | 11 | 10 | Dangerous by: Big Data (feat. Joywave) | 10 | 48 | 9 | 11 | Come With Me Now by: KONGOS | 5 | 61 | 16 | 12 | It Was Always You by: Maroon 5 | 12 | 29 | 10 | 13 | Love Runs Out by: OneRepublic | 2 | 91 | D | 14 | Lovers on the Sun by: David Guetta (feat. Sam Martin) | 14 | 26 | 14 | 15 | Life of the Party by: Wallpaper. | 2 | 143 | 13 | 16 | Am I Wrong by: Nico & Vinz | 11 | 47 | D | 17 | Superheroes by: The Script | 17 | 27 | 19 | 18 | Angel by: Theory of a Deadman | 15 | 35 | 17 | 19 | Pressure by: Youngblood Hawke | 1 (4) | 103 | 15 | 20 | Options by: Luke James (feat. Rick Ross) | 6 | 63 |
Notes: - Nickelback leads the way again this week with "Edge of a Revolution" for a second week. It only makes a +13 play increase, which is pretty little for a #1 debut. "Habits" (#2) was able to get a +20+ increase. It may not lead as long as originally expected. Especially with the next 5 fighting for their spots.
- The Top 6 contains the same songs as last week, with only "Resonance" and "Headphones" switching places at the 4 & 5 spots. "Resonance" by: LuvBug (feat. Talay Riley) gains a new peak at #4. It'll seek the Top 3 next week.
- "Riptide" does it! It passes its old peak set all the way back in March for the first time this week! The song has been making steady climbs over the past few weeks, and it finally pays off, as it goes 8-7 this week for a new peak. For now, this looks to be as high as it can get with the Top 6 being pretty far off. It is capable of passing "3005".
- "Maps" by: Maroon 5 is one of the two Top 10 entries this week, as it jumps 12-8 for a new peak. Maroon 5 could be ruling the chart next week as the 3 songs so far released from their upcoming album, V, have charted (one on On the Rise this week). It'll look for a new peak next week.
- While "Maps" jumps, so does "Dangerous" by: Big Data (feat. Joywave), as it moves 11-10 this week for a new peak. It was ahead of "Maps" throughout both of their runs, but "Maps" took the jump on it as it picked up a +4 increase, while "Dangerous" got +3. It'll also look for a new peak next week.
- "It Was Always You" by: Maroon 5 hops 16-12 this week for a new peak. It makes a nice +7 increase, as it was the second highest increase of the week (behind "Edge of a Revolution"). Maroon 5 will look to have two Top 10 entries on next week's chart.
- "Lovers on the Sun" by: David Guetta (feat. Sam Martin) is the top debut this week at #14. I've been getting addicted to this song lately, and now it might start slaying the chart. This is David Guetta's first chart hit since "Play Hard" in 2012/13. He hasn't had a #1 in his career, but he's had quite a few Top 10 hits on the chart. Top 10 is not out of the picture for this song either next week.
- "Superheroes" by: The Script is the other debut this week at #17. This should be a steady climber for awhile. The Script is no stranger to the chart, as they have charted 7 songs on the chart. "For the First Time" hit #1 back in 2010, and their last album had 4 songs chart ("Hall of Fame" #3, "Six Degrees of Separation" #8, "If You Could See Me Now" #14, and "Millionaires" #18).
- Two longtime stayers leave the chart this week. "Words as Weapons" by: Seether falls from #18. It peaked at #3. The song hasn't really burned on me, I just kinda stopped listening to it. "Rude" by: MAGIC! on the otherhand is not the same story. I'm starting to hate this song. It's getting really overplayed and the chorus is annoying af to me now. It peaked at #2 on the chart, and stayed there for a long time. These two were both apart of the killer Top 3 when "Habits" started its reign, as they stayed at the top 3 positions for a few weeks. "Words as Weapons" debuted back in May, while "Rude" debuted back in January.
On the Rise: "Mind Over Matter" by: Young the Giant "Animals" by: Maroon 5 "Bo$$" by: Fifth Harmony "Sweatpants" by: Childish Gambino "Fireball" by: Pitbull (feat. John Ryan) "Same Damn Life" by: Seether "Trumpets" by: Jason Derulo Dropouts: "Words as Weapons" by: Seether (from #18) Peak: 3 "Rude" by: MAGIC! (from #20) Peak: 2

Love that you debuted "Lovers On The Sun". Go Big Data, Vance Joy & Matt Nathanson - I can't get that song out of my head lately! LOLO really gives Matt a boost.

Glad that you debuted Lovers On The Sun and Superheroes. Also great to see Dangerous in the top 10 and Riptide rising. I hope Fireball will chart soon. Great chart :)

Congrats getting a new computer lol. I know how it takes time to pass all the important info from one to the other.
As for the chart, I loved the debuts and the chart overall and dont worry, I feel the same about "Rude" ;)

Still getting all my music back on my computer, but I'm getting there! The chart! LW | TW | Song + Artist | Peak | Plays | 1 | 1 | Edge of a Revolution by: Nickelback | 1 (3) | 64 | 2 | 2 | Habits by: Tove Lo | 1 (13) | 159 | 3 | 3 | Back Home by: Andy Grammer | 1 (2) | 83 | 4 | 4 | Resonance by: LuvBug (feat. Talay Riley) | 4 | 76 | 8 | 5 | Maps by: Maroon 5 | 5 | 61 | 5 | 6 | Headphones by: Matt Nathanson (feat. LOLO) | 2 | 73 | 6 | 7 | 3005 by: Childish Gambino | 6 | 73 | 12 | 8 | It Was Always You by: Maroon 5 | 8 | 39 | 7 | 9 | Riptide by: Vance Joy | 7 | 87 | 10 | 10 | Dangerous by: Big Data (feat. Joywave) | 10 | 52 | 9 | 11 | Never Stop by: SafetySuit | 1 (18) | 321 | 14 | 12 | Lovers on the Sun by: David Guetta (feat. Sam Martin) | 12 | 29 | 11 | 13 | Come With Me Now by: KONGOS | 5 | 61 | 13 | 14 | Love Runs Out by: OneRepublic | 2 | 91 | 17 | 15 | Superheroes by: The Script | 15 | 31 | D | 16 | Sweatpants by: Childish Gambino | 16 | 38 | 19 | 17 | Pressure by: Youngblood Hawke | 1 (4) | 104 | 15 | 18 | Life of the Party by: Wallpaper. | 2 | 143 | RE | 19 | Not on Drugs by: Tove Lo | 17 | 49 |
16 20 Am I Wrong by: Nico & Vinz 11 49 *20 had to be put outside of the box since I made too little and my MacBook won't let me right-click and add another row like it usually allows me to. Notes: - "Edge of a Revolution" by: Nickelback holds onto the top spot for its 3rd week. The songs is starting to lose its firm grip on the lead, but it likely won't see a fall for a while longer.
- Maroon 5 is absolutely killing the chart this week. "Maps" enters the Top 5 (8-5) for a new peak. It gets the highest play increase of the week with a +11. "It Was Always You" enters the Top 10 going 12-8 this week with the second highest play increase at +10. They also pull in 4 songs into the On the Rise chart this week. That's a total of 6 songs from their latest album V, on or near the chart this week. These 6 could see some attention next week since V will be in a full week of release, plus there is room for others to chart on the On the Rise chart.
- "Never Stop" by: SafetySuit falls 9-11 this week. This marks the very first time in its 2+ year run that it has left the Top 10. It has stayed in the Top 10 every week since January 2012. This week it had to see a fall since there is literally nowhere to put it. The Top 10 is so close, anyone can move.
- The two debuts from last week move up this week. "Lovers on the Sun" by: David Guetta (feat. Sam Martin) pushes 14-12 for a new peak. "Superheroes" by: The Script pulls up 17-15 for a new peak also.
- The week's lone debut (but not lone new entry) is "Sweatpants" by: Childish Gambino comes in at #16 this week. It has spent some time on the On the Rise chart before this. This is the second of three songs from Because the Internet to appear on the main chart ("Telegraph Ave. ("Oakland" by: Lloyd)" is on the On the Rise chart this week).
- "Not on Drugs" reenters the chart this week at #19. The song has been making big gains the past few weeks, as I am starting to move on from "Habits" to this. "Habits" won't see a fall, but this should start rising. The last time we saw it, it was here for two weeks, it had a peak of 17, and it had just 23 plays (up 26 now!). This could be Tove Lo's second big hit on the chart.
- With two new entries, two songs leave the chart this week. "Angel" by: Theory of a Deadman drops from #18 after peaking at a low #15. Since the song is not a single, that is fairly good. If it gets single treatment, it should likely see a reentry and a higher peak. "Options" by: Luke James (feat. Rick Ross) also leaves the chart this week from #20. The song has been on a huge downward spiral the past few weeks before finally leaving this week. The song could see a reentry in a few weeks with Luke's album coming out on September 23, and I plan on purchasing it. The song peaked at #6, and that will likely stay as its peak.
On the Rise: "Mind Over Matter" by: Young the Giant "Let It Be" by: Labrinth "Feelings" by: Maroon 5 "Animals" by: Maroon 5 "Leaving California" by: Maroon 5 "When We Come Alive" by: Switchfoot "Bo$$" by: Fifth Harmony "Sideways" by: Wrabel "Dirty Love (Scribz Riley Remix)" by: Wilkinson (feat. Talay Riley) "Sugar" by: Maroon 5 "Telegraph Ave. ("Oakland" by: Lloyd)" by: Childish Gambino "Blame" by: Calvin Harris (feat. John Newman) Dropouts: "Angel" by: Theory of a Deadman (from #18) Peak: 15 "Options" by: Luke James (feat. Rick Ross) (from #20) Peak: 6

Sorry for the day late again! 3 debuts!! HUGE shakeup this week. LW | TW | Song + Artist | Peak | Plays | D | 1 | What Are You Waiting For? by: Nickelback | 1 (1) | 68 | 1 | 2 | Edge of a Revolution by: Nickelback | 1 (3) | 70 | 2 | 3 | Habits by: Tove Lo | 1 (13) | 160 | 5 | 4 | Maps by: Maroon 5 | 4 | 65 | 3 | 5 | Back Home by: Andy Grammer | 1 (2) | 83 | 4 | 6 | Resonance by: LuvBug (feat. Talay Riley) | 4 | 76 | 8 | 7 | It Was Always You by: Maroon 5 | 7 | 41 | 6 | 8 | Headphones by: Matt Nathanson (feat. LOLO) | 2 | 73 | D | 9 | Blame by: Calvin Harris (feat. John Newman) | 9 | 30 | D | 10 | Shut Up and Dance by: WALK THE MOON | 10 | 37 | 12 | 11 | Lovers on the Sun by: David Guetta (feat. Sam Martin) | 11 | 32 | 9 | 12 | Riptide by: Vance Joy | 7 | 87 | 7 | 13 | 3005 by: Childish Gambino | 6 | 73 | 11 | 14 | Never Stop by: SafetySuit | 1 (18) | 321 | 15 | 15 | Superheroes by: The Script | 15 | 32 | 10 | 16 | Dangerous by: Big Data (feat. Notes: - This week had some major debuts (all top 10!), which caused a stir in the chart. The #1, #9, and #10 spots stole almost all of the plays from everyone this week, so there wasn't all that much movement in the play count. But there were some major droppers this week.
- "What Are You Waiting For?" leads the pack of debuts AND leads the chart with a #1 debut this week for the track. This is Nickelback's second #1 debut in less than a month. This was fairly unexpected, as this song wasn't supposed to be out for another few weeks. So with the release this week, this cuts "Edge of a Revolution"'s reign short with only 3 weeks at the top. This song should hold down "Edge of a Revolution", as I seem to be more into this than I was with "Edge..." when it first came out. It's pretty evident considering the fact that this is two plays shy of "Edge..." with just one week under its belt, and the other having 4.
- Maroon 5 is the only artist from last week's Top 10 to go higher in this week's chart, as "Maps" rises 5-4 and "It Was Always You" rises 8-7. "Maps" could enter the Top 3 next week, but it would likely only be able to lock down the #3 spot as Nickelback seems to have the top 2 locked down for the foreseeable future. "It Was Always You" will look to hurdle in the Top 5 next week.
- The second debut this week comes from Calvin Harris (feat. John Newman) with "Blame" at #9. This debuts with 30 plays. With this debuting at #9, it has already surpassed Calvin's last single, "Summer", which had an underwhelming #13 peak. This is also John Newman's highest entry, as his lone charting song, "Love Me Again", hit only #14.
- The third and final debut that rounds out the Top 10 is WALK THE MOON's "Shut Up and Dance". I have been absolutely in love with this song, and I've had it stuck on replay the past few days. Even though it debuts with higher plays than "Blame", it charts lower since about 10 of them are from the radio rip that was released awhile back. This could be a future #1 (on my chart and hopefully around the world lol).
- "Lovers on the Sun" by: David Guetta (feat. Sam Martin) goes 12-11 this week for new peak. It will look to enter the Top 10 next week.
- With 3 debuts and how they mainly took all of the hype away from every other song, a good amount of tracks took some steep drops this week.
- "Riptide" by: Vance Joy, "3005" by: Childish Gambino, and "Dangerous" by: Big Data (feat. Joywave) drop from the Top 10, going 12-9, 7-13 & 10-16 respectively. "3005" might have some trouble going back up unless it starts to get big on the Pop charts. While "Dangerous" will probably not be able to rebound.
- "Love Runs Out" by: OneRepublic (14-19) and "Pressure" by: Youngblood Hawke (17-20) fall to the final two spots and could potentially fall off next week.
- KONGOS took the biggest blow of the week, dropping off the chart from all the way from #13. The song has made no movement the past few weeks, and it has started burning on me.
- "Life of the Party" by: Wallpaper. falls off this week from #18. It peaked at #2 back in August 2013. It spent every week on the chart since July 2013. Not to long ago, Ricky Reed (frontman of Wallpaper.) was involved with 5 songs on the chart at once, now he has none.
- Though there are only 5 songs on the On the Rise chart, there are also a few songs that are looking to reenter the chart. That is something to look out for next week.
On the Rise: "Let It Be" by: Labrinth "Savages" by: Theory of a Deadman (feat. Alice Cooper) "Mind Over Matter" by: Young the Giant "Thousand Miles" by: Tove Lo "Salt" by: Bad Suns Dropouts: "Come With Me Now" by: KONGOS (from #13) Peak: 5 "Life of the Party" by: Wallpaper. (from #18) Peak: 2 "Am I Wrong" by: Nico & Vinz (from #20) Peak: 11

Great to see Blame debuting and It Was Always You rising. I hope 3005, Dangerous, and Riptide will rise again.

Yay for Calvin! Glad that Youngblood Hawke is still hanging on. And also, I'd like to thank you for introducing me to "Resonance". I'm currently obsessed with that song and will be debuting it soon, personally.

He's so underrated, but he's starting to get bigger with these features and he's been writing for some good artists lately. I stan for him lol.

Honestly, when I first heard the song I thought it was Sam Smith on vocals (he's giving me some "Latch" vibes). I'm going to check out his other stuff for sure. Anything you recommend I start with?

Depends really, he has many different styles. He has a new song with Wilkinson (drum and bass producer) called " Dirty Love" if you're looking for something similar to this. I'd start with " Good As Gold" (how I discovered him and the longest charting song ever on my chart), " Fairytale", and " Beautiful Ascension". If you looking for more R&B from him, check out his SoundCloud: soundcloud.com/da-real-talay-riley. He also has a mixtape: mixtapemadness.co.uk/TalayRiley/GoingToCalifornia/539

Wow at the Nickelback domination! I'm going to assume you're a huge fan of them, then?
I'm rooting for "Not on Drugs" and "Maps" to keep rising. I also really enjoy the "Habits" longevity, and the "Blame" debut.
Great chart cm7com! :)

Nearly have all of my music synced to my new computer! It's been taking me awhile, but I am almost there. I found a nice program that lets you transfer your music from your iPod to your computer, which helped out a ton. I probably would have taken another month to download everything one by one. All I have left is a few songs, and updated play counts. The chart! LW | TW | Song + Artist | Peak | Plays | 1 | 1 | What Are You Waiting For? by: Nickelback | 1 (2)
| 74 | 2 | 2 | Edge of a Revolution by: Nickelback | 1 (3) | 73 | 3 | 3 | Habits by: Tove Lo | 1 (13) | 162 | 6 | 4 | Resonance by: LuvBug (feat. Talay Riley) | 4 | 80 | 7 | 5 | It Was Always You by: Maroon 5 | 5 | 48 | 4 | 6 | Maps by: Maroon 5 | 4 | 65 | 9 | 7 | Blame by: Calvin Harris (feat. John Newman) | 7 | 39 | 5 | 8 | Back Home by: Andy Grammer | 1 (2) | 83 | 10 | 9 | Shut Up and Dance by: WALK THE MOON | 9 | 42 | 11 | 10 | Lovers on the Sun by: David Guetta (feat. Sam Martin) | 10 | 37 | 8 | 11 | Headphones by: Matt Nathanson (feat. LOLO) | 2 | 73 | 12 | 12 | Riptide by: Vance Joy | 7 | 87 | 13 | 13 | 3005 by: Childish Gambino | 6 | 73 | RE | 14 | Revolution by: The Used | 14 | 52 | 14 | 15 | Never Stop by: SafetySuit | 1 (18) | 321 | 17 | 16 | Sweatpants by: Childish Gambino | 16 | 43 | 15 | 17 | Superheroes by: The Script | 15 | 33 | 18 | 18 | Not on Drugs by: Tove Lo | 17 | 53 | 16 | 19 | Dangerous by: Big Data (feat. Joywave) | 10 | 52 | RE | 20 | A Song to Stifle Imperial Progression (A Work In Progress) by: The Used | 16 | 46 |
Notes: - Nickelback rules the Top 2 positions again this week with "What Are You Waiting For?" at the top and "Edge of a Revolution" behind it at #2. "WAYWF?" only gains a +6 play increase this week, which is awful for a second week on the chart (#1 debut also). "Edge of a Revolution" could take over the top fairly soon. Both of their leads are diminishing though, as their play increases start to lower.
- Maroon 5 pushes another song into the Top 5, this time being "It Was Always You" going 7-5. "Maps" falls out of the Top 5, going 4-6. "Maps" could be done, but "It Was Always You" could still have a little more juice left.
- "Blame" by: Calvin Harris (feat. John Newman) pushes 9-7 in its second week for a new peak. The track will be seeking the Top 5 next week.
- Another debut from last week makes a gain, as "Shut Up and Dance" by: WALK THE MOON pushes 10-9 for a new peak. It was a little movement this week, but it'll look for a bigger gain next week with the songs in front of it starting to fall a little.
- "Lovers on the Sun" by: David Guetta (feat. Sam Martin) pushes into the Top 10, going 11-10 this week. It has taken a little while, but it finally reached Top 10. It'll look further ahead next week.
- The Used holds both re-entries this week. "Revolution" re-enters the chart at its previous peak, #14. With the song being announced as a single this week, this should see some great gains coming up. This will try to beat out the lead single "Cry"'s peak (#3). The other re-entry this week is "A Song to Stifle Imperial Progression (A Work In Progress), which re-enters at #20. "A Song..." will probably be a one-weeker, as I was not even expecting to put this on the chart. I started listening to Imaginary Enemy again, and I have fallen in love with it again. I was listening to this and "Revolution" on repeat quite a bit over the week. I don't know the exact increases, but both probably got around +15 this week. "A Song..." previously peaked at #16, and spent two weeks on the chart.
- With the two re-entries this week, and there have been quite a bit in the past, I decided to add a new chart, "Re-entry Watch"!. This chart might not see too much action going on every week like On the Rise, but this acts as the alternative to On the Rise since once a song falls off the main chart, it can't go back to On the Rise.
- Two big ones fall off the chart this week. "Love Runs Out" by: OneRepublic falls from #19. This was taking some free falls and it was looking like it would hold up, but with the many debuts and re-entries these past few weeks, it couldn't hold. It peaked at #2. The other faller was "Pressure" by: Youngblood Hawke from #20. The song was seeing hardly any increases these past few months so it was pretty easy to cut the cord on this one. This peaked at #1 for four weeks, and it should be a high contender for my Song of the Year.
On the Rise: "Savages" by: Theory of a Deadman (feat. Alice Cooper) "Let It Be" by: Labrinth "GDFR" by: Flo Rida (feat. Sage the Gemini) "Salt" by: Bad Suns "Thousand Miles" by: Tove Lo "X" by: Chris Brown "Dancing in the Dark" by: Luke James "Timebomb" by: Tove Lo "Autumn Leaves" by: Chris Brown (feat. Kendrick Lamar) "Imaginary Enemy" by: The Used "New Flame" by: Chris Brown (feat. Usher & Rick Ross) Re-entry Watch: "Options" by: Luke James (feat. Rick Ross) "Touchin, Lovin" by: Trey Songz (feat. Nicki Minaj) Dropouts: "Love Runs Out" by: OneRepublic (from #19) Peak: 2 "Pressure" by: Youngblood Hawke (from #20) Peak: 1 (4 weeks)

So the play count this week might be a little messed up. I've been entering in my play counts from my iPod to my new iTunes, and some of them I had to add from other programs and stuff like that. So since I listened to more music over the week, I kind of effed up the play count for a few songs. "Edge of a Revolution", "It Was Always You", "Habits", "Shut Up and Dance" and "Blame" might not be 100%. The chart! New #1...sorta! 3 debuts AND a re-entry! Notes: - Busy week! 4 new entries onto the chart this week. The three debuts, along with a few songs from On the Rise made HUGE gains this week, but a few couldn't make the final chart due to a bit of an overload this week. Next week could see 4 more debuts, and some re-entries. The 4th quarter is going to be messy.
- Nickelback replaces Nickelback at the top this week with "Edge of a Revolution" regaining the top spot from "What Are You Waiting For?". "Edge of a Revolution" will now log its 4th week at the top, and "WAYWF?" ends its run at 2. "Edge..." could keep the top spot for awhile, while "WAYWF?" might not regain it. "WAYWF?" is already slowly burning on me, which seems to happen with Nickelback's pop songs. Both should stay in the Top 5 for awhile.
- "Resonance" by: LuvBug (feat. Talay Riley) pushes itself into the Top 3, going 4-3 this week for a new peak. #3 might be as high as it can go, unless the Top 2 start to take a toll and this picks up.
- "Blame" by: Calvin Harris (feat. John Newman) moves 7-6 this week for a new peak. It'll seek the Top 5 next week.
- WALK THE MOON moves to the #7 spot with "Shut Up and Dance" as it goes 9-7 this week for a new peak as well. Like "Blame", it'll seek Top 5, likely going in a competition with "Blame" for a spot, as two might not be open.
- "Revolution" by: The Used finally beats its peak that it set back in April of 2014, as it pushes 14-11 this week. Top 10 should be an easy grab next week.
- Flo Rida leads the way for the new entries this week with "GDFR" (feat. Sage the Gemini & Lookas) at #14. This is Flo Rida's first entry as a main since "Whistle", which hit #9 back in 2012. His last entry was as a featured act on Olly Murs' "Troublemaker", which hit #4. This is turning into my favorite Flo Rida song of all-time, so this could be in for a great run.
- "Sweatpants" by: Childish Gambino goes 16-15 this week for a new peak. It surpasses its Because the Internet partner, "3005" (13-16) this week for the first time. "3005" has had zero movement the past few weeks, and is staring at the end of its run. With debuts undoubtedly coming in next week, this is in serious danger.
- "Options" by: Luke James (feat. Rick Ross) re-enters the chart this week at #18. The track has pushed 19 plays since falling off the chart at the end of August. It was having no movement weeks for a quite awhile before falling, so right now it is making up for lost time. Luke James also sees 4 other songs from his self-titled debut album on the On the Rise chart this week. I don't even own the album yet (just purchased it, should ship by Monday), so once I have it, he could be a major artist to end the year.
- Ne-Yo skips the On the Rise chart and debuts at the #19 spot with "She Knows" (feat. Juicy J). It logs 29 plays in its first week, but is only at #19 due to the high traffic this week. This is (surprisingly) Ne-Yo's first song to chart on my chart where he is the main artist. Some of his songs probably would have charted ("Closer", "Miss Independent", "Mad"), but they were released before I ever made my chart. He has had four other entries on the chart as a featured artist on Conor Maynard's "Turn Around" (#9), David Guetta (w/ Akon)'s "Play Hard" (#6), Pitbull (w/ Afrojack & Nayer)'s "Give Me Everything" (#4), and T-Pain's "Turn All the Lights On" (#18). This should see some major gains in the following weeks.
- Kendrick Lamar debuts at the bottom this week with "i". It gains a great 26 plays in not even a full week of plays. Like "She Knows", this debuts at the bottom due to high traffic. This should see great gains also. This is Kendrick's second chart entry as a main artist following "m.a.a.d city", which hit #7 in February of this year. He's had a few entries as a featured artist also: Mayer Hawthorne's "Crime" (#8), A$AP Rocky (w/ Drake & 2 Chainz)'s "F*ckin' Problems" (#12), and Robin Thicke's "Give It 2 U" (#14).
- This week sees 4 drops from the chart, but both "Superheroes" and "Not On Drugs" join the Re-Entry Watch chart. "Not On Drugs" could re-enter next week with Tove Lo's debut album coming out on Tuesday (that I'm most certainly buying). "Superheroes" could take a little longer, but it should re-enter soon.
On the Rise: "X" by: Chris Brown "Thousand Miles" by: Tove Lo "Cadillac Cadillac" by: Train "Autumn Leaves" by: Chris Brown (feat. Kendrick Lamar) "Savages" by: Theory of a Deadman (feat. Alice Cooper) "Exit Wounds" by: Luke James "Same Damn Life" by: Seether "Dancing In the Dark" by: Luke James "Honey, I'm Good." by: Andy Grammer "Exposé" by: Luke James "Glass House" by: Luke James Re-entry Watch: "Superheroes" by: The Script "Not On Drugs" by: Tove Lo "Touchin' Lovin'" by: Trey Songz (feat. Nicki Minaj) Dropouts: "Superheroes" by: The Script (from #17) Peak: 15 "Not On Drugs" by: Tove Lo (from #18) Peak: 16 "Dangerous" by: Big Data (feat. Joywave) (from #19) Peak: 10 "A Song to Stifle Imperial Progression (A Work In Progress)" by: The Used (from #20) Peak: 16
