So I'm gonna try and do this. I've been keeping a chart in my iTunes playlist since 2008 and I have only kept check of number ones since 2012. So this should be a better way to be organized and keep better track of my Top 20. I'll try my best to update this every Thursday (like the Hot 100). Just a side note, all of the songs tend to have longevity to them so don't be shocked to see songs on here for like a year haha. Here we go. I'm not going to keep track of total weeks since some songs have been on here for a long time and if I started over, it'd make me feel like they have lost significance. And I'll start the last week tab next week. And I'll post a YouTube or streaming link to songs that have just arrived. *Oops, forgot to put a border. Notes: Good As Gold by: Talay Riley (feat. Scorcher) has been on the chart every week consecutively since its debut in July 2011. (Yes, that long) Never Stop & Let Go by: SafetySuit have been on the chart every week since their debuts in the same week in January 2012, with Never Stop never leaving the Top 10. Wallpaper. has had three songs from their major label debut, Ricky Reed is Real, that have hit the top 5: Good 4 It peaked at #3, Life of the Party at #2, and Hesher at #1. Counting Stars by: OneRepublic holds the known #1 peak record at 30 weeks: 26 in 2013 (half the year!) and 4 in 2014. Good as Gold might have the record but that is unknown since I never kept track of it. These Times by: SafetySuit has had 5 songs hit the chart: Never Stop was #1 for 18 weeks, Let Go at #4, but has stayed on the chart for over 2 years along with Never Stop, These Times at #3, Get Around This at #16, and Believe at #14On the Rise: Pressure by: Youngblood Hawke Me and My Broken Heart by: Rixton Peace by: O.A.R. Magic by: Coldplay Summer by: Calvin Harris Rather Be by: Clean Bandit (feat. Jess Glynne) Believer by: American Authors Cop Car by: Keith Urban Drop-outs: None

Week #2: LW | TW | Song + Artist | Peak | Plays | 1 | 1 | Hesher by: Wallpaper. | 1 (3) | 106 | 2 | 2 | On Your Side by: SafetySuit | 2 | 55 | 5 | 3 | Counting Stars by: OneRepublic | 1 (30) | 143 | 7 | 4 | Rude by: MAGIC! | 4 | 52 | D | 5 | Pressure by: Youngblood Hawke | 5 | 44 | 6 | 6 | Never Stop by: SafetySuit | 1 (18) | 292 | 3 | 7 | Top of the World by: Mike Posner (feat. Big Sean) | 1 (5) | 103 | 10 | 8 | Tonight You're Perfect by: New Politics | 8 | 45 | 4 | 9 | Talk Dirty by: Jason Derulo (feat. 2 Chainz) | 3 | 53 | 8 | 10 | Cry by: The Used | 8 | 48 | 9 | 11 | Riptide by: Vance Joy | 8 | 37 | D | 12 | Me and My Broken Heart by: Rixton | 12 | 29 | 12 | 13 | Life of the Party by: Wallpaper. | 2 | 113 | D | 14 | I Will Survive by: Ryan Star | 14 | 21 | 17 | 15 | Impossible (Animals Redux) by: Ryan Star | 15 | 38 | 13 | 16 | Good as Gold by: Talay Riley (feat. Scorcher) | 1 (?) | 274 | 14 | 17 | Let Go by: SafetySuit | 4 | 239 | 16 | 18 | It's About Time by: Young the Giant | 16 | 32 | 11 | 19 | m.A.A.d city by: Kendrick Lamar | 7 | 24 | 15 | 20 | Sweater Weather by: The Neighbourhood | 6 | 47 |
Notes: - "Hesher" by: Wallpaper. spends its 3rd week at #1, but "On Your Side" by: SafetySuit is right behind and a strong contender for #1 next week.
- "Pressure" by: Youngblood Hawke makes a strong debut at #5. This is their second entry on the chart, their first being their debut single, "We Come Running", which peaked at #6. A few of their songs from their debut album, Wake Up, were on the rise, most notably "Dannyboy", during its release week, but they failed to make the chart.
- Mike Posner (feat. Big Sean) & Jason Derulo (feat. 2 Chainz) are starting to fall out of the Top 10, 3-7 & 4-9 respectively.
- Rixton makes their chart debut with their debut single, "Me and My Broken Heart", at #12. Their song "Make Out" was on the rise for a week, but never made the chart.
- Ryan Star's "I Will Survive" makes its debut at #14. It's the second song from his album A N G E L S + A N I M A L S to chart, and two more are on the rise ("Sailing On & "Spaceman Fugitive"). This should be a great year for Ryan Star. The album is currently #1 on my Top Albums of 2014 list.
- "m.A.A.d city" by: Kendrick Lamar free-falls from #11 to #19. With some of the On the Rise songs looking to debut next week, this could be the last week on the chart for the song along with "Sweater Weather".
- "If I Lose Myself" by: OneRepublic exits the chart for the first time since its debut in January 2013. It spent 4 weeks at #1 during April before giving up the throne to "Can't Hold Us" by: Macklemore & Ryan Lewis (feat. Ray Dalton).
On the Rise: "Rather Be" by: Clean Bandit (feat. Jess Glynne) "Peace" by: O.A.R. "Sailing On" by: Ryan Star "Summer" by: Calvin Harris "Magic" by: Coldplay "Side FX" by: Jason Derulo (feat. Game) "Loyal (West Coast Version)" by: Chris Brown (feat. Lil Wayne & Too $hort) "Spaceman Fugitive" by: Ryan Star "Come With Me Now" by: KONGOS "Falling for the Beat" by: Andrew Ripp Dropouts: "If I Lose Myself" by: OneRepublic (from #18) Peak: 1 (4 weeks) "Step Out" by: Jose Gonzalez (from #19) Peak: 14 "Born 2 Run" by: 7Lions (from #20) Peak: 3

I'm going to post the chart today because the battery to my laptop is on its final life and it'll probably be dead tomorrow. FedEx says that it won't be delivered until next week, so I'll just do this a day early. NEW #1! Week #3: LW | TW | Song + Artist | Peak | Plays | 2 | 1 | On Your Side by: SafetySuit | 1 (1) | 59 | 1 | 2 | Hesher by: Wallpaper. | 1 (3) | 110 | 5 | 3 | Pressure by: Youngblood Hawke | 3 | 52 | 4 | 4 | Rude by: MAGIC! | 4 | 57 | 3 | 5 | Counting Stars by: OneRepublic | 1 (30) | 147 | 6 | 6 | Never Stop by: SafetySuit | 1 (18) | 295 | 8 | 7 | Tonight You're Perfect by: New Politics | 7 | 53 | 12 | 8 | Me and My Broken Heart by: Rixton | 8 | 38 | 10 | 9 | Cry by: The Used | 8 | 55 | 9 | 10 | Talk Dirty by: Jason Derulo (feat. 2 Chainz) | 3 | 58 | 11 | 11 | Riptide by: Vance Joy | 8 | 42 | D | 12 | Rather Be by: Clean Bandit (feat. Jess Glynne) | 12 | 27 | 13 | 13 | Life of the Party by: Wallpaper. | 2 | 117 | 7 | 14 | Top of the World by: Mike Posner (feat. Big Sean) | 1 (5) | 106 | 15 | 15 | Impossible (Animals Redux) by: Ryan Star | 15 | 41 | 14 | 16 | I Will Survive by: Ryan Star | 14 | 23 | 18 | 17 | It's About Time by: Young the Giant | 16 | 34 | 16 | 18 | Good as Gold by: Talay Riley (feat. Scorcher) | 1 (?) | 277 | 17 | 19 | Let Go by: SafetySuit | 4 | 241 | 20 | 20 | Sweater Weather by: The Neighbourhood | 6 | 49 |
*Dammit, I forgot to put a border again -_- Notes: - "On Your Side" by: SafetySuit spends its first week at #1. It spent quite awhile at the #2 spot. It debuted there in December 2013 and stayed there around 2 months, before falling, then picking back up to the top summit after a total of 17 weeks on the chart. "Hesher" by: Wallpaper. slips to #2
- Youngblood Hawke's "Pressure" pushes 5-3. It should be a contender for #1 next week.
- "Me and My Broken Heart" by: Rixton is the lone debut in the Top 10 at #8.
- "Rather Be" by: Clean Bandit (feat. Jess Glynne) debuts at #12. It was originally supposed to debut towards the bottom of the chart, but pushed further later in the week. It was on the rise for 2 weeks.
- "Top of the World" by: Mike Posner (feat. Big Sean) landslides out of the Top 10 going 7-14. "Talk Dirty" was looking to leave the Top 10, but saved itself in the end, only going 9-10.
- "Good as Gold" & "Let Go" might be ending their historical runs soon. "Good as Gold" has stayed in the chart every week since July 2011 and "Let Go" has stayed since January 2012.
- "m.A.A.d city" by: Kendrick Lamar falls out of the Top 20, from #19, after taking a beating the past few weeks. "Sweater Weather" by: The Neighbourhood holds on for one more week.
On the Rise: "Summer" by: Calvin Harris "Loyal (West Coast Version)" by: Chris Brown (feat. Lil Wayne & Too $hort) "Side FX" by: Jason Derulo (feat. Game) "Peace" by: O.A.R. "Sailing On" by: Ryan Star "Magic" by: Coldplay "Like a Drum" by: Guy Sebastian Dropouts: "m.A.A.d city" by: Kendrick Lamar (from #19) Peak: 7

LW | TW | Song + Artist | Peak | Plays | 1 | 1 | On Your Side by: SafetySuit | 1 (2) | 60 | 3 | 2 | Pressure by: Youngblood Hawke | 2 | 57 | 9 | 3 | Cry by: The Used | 3 | 72 | 2 | 4 | Hesher by: Wallpaper. | 1 (3) | 112 | 4 | 5 | Rude by: MAGIC! | 4 | 60 | 7 | 6 | Tonight You're Perfect by: New Politics | 6 | 54 | 5 | 7 | Counting Stars by: OneRepublic | 1 (30) | 149 | 6 | 8 | Never Stop by: SafetySuit | 1 (18) | 295 | 11 | 9 | Riptide by: Vance Joy | 8 | 47 | 8 | 10 | Me and My Broken Heart by: Rixton | 8 | 40 | 12 | 11 | Rather Be by: Clean Bandit (feat. Jess Glynne) | 11 | 30 | 10 | 12 | Talk Dirty by: Jason Derulo (feat. 2 Chainz) | 3 | 58 | 15 | 13 | Impossible (Animals Redux) by: Ryan Star | 13 | 42 | 13 | 14 | Life of the Party by: Wallpaper. | 2 | 117 | 17 | 15 | It's About Time by: Young the Giant | 15 | 35 | D | 16 | A Song to Stifle Imperial Progression (A Work In Progress) by: The Used | 16 | 22 | D | 17 | Revolution by: The Used | 17 | 19 | 16 | 18 | I Will Survive by: Ryan Star | 14 | 23 | 18 | 19 | Good as Gold by: Talay Riley (feat. Scorcher) | 1 (?) | 277 | 19 | 20 | Let Go by: SafetySuit | 4 | 241 |
Notes: - SafetySuit's "On Your Side" fends off Youngblood Hawke's "Pressure" and stays atop the chart for another week.
- "Cry" by: The Used catapults 9-3. With the release of Imaginary Enemy (my new #1 album of 2014), they are about to have an extremely hot month. "Cry" comes off of a scorching 17 plays increase, but that's not the biggest of the week. This should be a contender for #1 next week.
- "Riptide" by: Vance Joy re-enters the Top 10 coming 11-9. Its current peak is at #8, which it hit a little over a month ago.
- "Impossible (Animals Redux)" by: Ryan Star & "It's About Time" by: Young the Giant make nice 2 place increases to improve their peaks 13 & 15 respectively.
- The Used debut two songs on the chart, "A Song to Stifle Imperial Progression (A Work In Progress)" & "Revolution". "A Song to..." is this week's highest play increase going to 22 in its debut week. The Used has three songs from their latest album, Imaginary Enemy, on the chart this week. There are 4 more songs on the album that are on the rise (over half the album!) with a possibility for some of them to debut next week.
- "Top of the World" by: Mike Posner (feat. Big Sean) takes a tumble out of the Top 20, falling from #14. It has gone from 3-7-14-out in the past few weeks. Possibly the worst fallout I've had on my chart.
- The Neighbourhood's "Sweater Weather" falls from the chart at #20. It had a lengthy stay on the chart, staying on since the middle of the summer.
On the Rise: "Summer" by: Calvin Harris "Generation Throwaway" by: The Used "Magic" by: Coldplay "Evolution" by: The Used "Overdose" by: The Used "Side FX" by: Jason Derulo (feat. Game) "Imaginary Enemy" by: The Used Dropouts: "Top of the World" by: Mike Posner (feat. Big Sean) (from #14) Peak: 1 (5 weeks) "Sweater Weather" by: The Neighbourhood (from #20) Peak: 6

Notes: - "Pressure" by: Youngblood Hawke takes over the top summit from SafetySuit's "On Your Side", which ran for 2 weeks.
- "Rude" by: MAGIC! rises 5-3 to earn a new peak.
- "Cry" by: The Used and "Hesher" by Wallpaper. slip down one spot to 4 & 5 respectively to round out the top 5.
- "Never Stop" by: SafetySuit (currently at #8) is inching towards the 300 play mark on my iTunes. This will be the first song to hit that amount.
- Talay Riley (feat. Scorcher)'s "Good as Gold" escapes danger and rises 19-15 to keep its historical run going. SafetySuit's "Let Go" is still in danger of leaving the Top 20 next week with a few songs looking to debut.
- The Used's "Revolution" & "A Song To Stifle Imperial Progression (A Work In Progress)" swap spots 16 & 17 respectively. "Revolution" gains a new peak.
- No new debuts this week, but next week might see quite a few debuts (potentially 6!)
- Calvin Harris' "Summer" spends yet another week in the On the Rise chart. This is its 5th week there.
On the Rise: "La La La" by: Naughty Boy (feat. Sam Smith) "Summer" by: Calvin Harris "On Top" by: Flume (feat. T. Shirt) "Fire" by: SoMo "Back Home" by: Andy Grammer "Evidence" by: 2AM Club "Come With Me Now" by: KONGOS "Holding on for Life" by: Broken Bells "Painkiller" by: Three Days Grace "Afraid" by: The Neighbourhood "I'm Only Joking" by: KONGOS Dropouts: None

Game) | 18 | 55 | 14 | 19 | Impossible (Animals Redux) by: Ryan Star | 13 | 42 | 19 | 20 | Let Go by: SafetySuit | 4 | 242 |
Notes: - "Pressure" by: Youngblood Hawke spends its 2nd week atop the chart. It looks to stay there for quite awhile. The Top 6 stay put from last week.
- "Talk Dirty" by: Jason Derulo (feat. 2 Chainz) climbs 11-7. With the release of Jason's new album, Talk Dirty, the song should continue to climb next week. 5 songs from the album are on the On the Rise chart, and one from the international Tattoos debuted.
- With summer weather approaching, some songs are getting the summer treatment.
- "Good as Gold" by: Talay Riley (feat. Scorcher) is one of the songs to get the summer treatment. It hops 15-11, where a few weeks ago it was in danger of leaving the chart. "Good as Gold" is one of my go-to summer songs, so it could be here for its 3rd year straight.
- New Politics' "Tonight You're Perfect" takes a fall from the top 10, going 7-12.
- "On Top" by: Flume (feat. T. Shirt) leads the pack of debuts at #13. This song is on the MLB 14: The Show soundtrack (best game series eva), and should be one of few from the game to make the chart, like every year.
- With the summer weather coming, "Summer" by: Calvin Harris makes an appropriate entry on the chart after spending 5 weeks on the On the Rise chart. It debuts at #16. Calvin has been on the chart quite a bit, with "Feels So Close", "Sweet Nothing", "Drinking From the Bottle", "Under Control" & "Thinking About You".
- Andy Grammer debuts at #17 with the lead single to his second album, "Back Home". This is Andy's third entry following "Fine By Me" & "Miss Me". Both of those hit the top 10.
- "Side FX" by: Jason Derulo (feat. Game) makes its long-awaited debut on the chart. It has been on the On the Rise chart for numerous weeks, even before my first post here on Pulse. This is one of the songs that takes a long time for it to debut, or even debut at all, because of the fact I just completely forget lol. Next week could see Jason scoring two more songs on the chart.
- "Let Go" by: SafetySuit is looking at its final week on the chart. With a few songs likely to debut, this will be the odd ball out. This song has been on the chart every week since January 2012.
- "Rather Be" by: Clean Bandit (feat. Jess Glynne) takes a slide out of the top 20 from #13. I've been getting a little annoyed with the song already and it's starting to burn on me. But once this starts ripping through the charts on CHR in the near future, it will more than likely come back.
On the Rise: "Love Runs Out" by: OneRepublic "Wiggle" by: Jason Derulo (feat. Snoop Dogg) "La La La" by: Naughty Boy (feat. Sam Smith) "Painkiller" by: Three Days Grace "Zipper" by: Jason Derulo "Come With Me Now" by: KONGOS "Kama Sutra" by: Jason Derulo (feat. Kid Ink) "Don't Kill the Magic" by: MAGIC! "Stupid Love" by: Jason Derulo "With the Lights On" by: Jason Derulo Dropouts: "Rather Be" by: Clean Bandit (feat. Jess Glynne) (from #13) Peak: 11 "A Song To Stifle Imperial Progression (A Work In Progress)" by: The Used (from #17) Peak: 16 "It's About Time" by: Young the Giant (from #18) Peak: 15 "I Will Survive" by: Ryan Star (from #20) Peak: 14

Talk Dirty back in top 10! :)
Me and My Broken Heart needs to make top 5!
Like the Calvin Harris debut!
No! Rather Be cannot fall out, and it didn't even make top 10! :'(
On the Rise: Love Runs Out - Good first impression, but I'll need time before I get into it... Wiggle - I HATE THIS SONG! La La La - Love it! Must chart! Zipper - This song is hot! I love it so much best song on the album, chart it! (Even for like just 1 week at least!) Kama Sutra - I like this one, but not crazy about it... Stupid Love - Yes! This one's a jam too! With the Lights On - Pretty good, fun to dance to! :)
Great chart!

"La La La" is one of those songs that should be on the chart, but isn't. I tend to forget some songs and this is one of them. But this could debut soon. "Zipper" has a decent shot at debuting in the bottom part of the chart next week :) Thanks for viewing the chart!

Notes: - "Pressure" by: Youngblood Hawke rules another week at the top to make it its 3rd week at the top summit. It will have some competition next week.
- "Rude" by: MAGIC! jumps 3-2 to obtain a new peak. It could be in contention for #1 next week.
- Jason Derulo (feat. 2 Chainz) re-enters the top 5 going 7-5 with "Talk Dirty". Jason's latest album of the same name has really re-sparked the song, after nearly being bombarded off the chart like some songs have been having happened to them (more on that later).
- The top debut comes from an unknown indie band, Bel Heir. Their song "Kiss the Devil", remixed by Just a Gent, flies over the on the rise chart and goes straight to #6. I discovered this band just last Saturday and have fallen in love. It debuts with 37 plays, which is extremely impressive considering I've only known it for less than a week. This could cause a bang in the chart next week and steal the #1 spot from Youngblood Hawke. I'd advise you to check them out. You can get some of their music for free on NoiseTrade by clicking here.
- "Cry" by: The Used drops 4-10. After inflating for a few weeks following the release of Imaginary Enemy, it has finally fallen back down to earth as it goes back to where it was hanging around before it started making huge gains.
- "On Top" by: Flume (feat. T. Shirt) and "Summer" by: Calvin Harris gain from their debuts last weeks as they go 13-12 and 16-13 respectively.
- Jason Derulo gets another debut as "Wiggle" (feat. Snoop Dogg) debuts at #14. This could become a huge hit for Jason on my chart, so this is one to keep tabs on.
- Fun fact: Ricky Reed has a total of 5 songs on the chart this week. He has two with his band Wallpaper. ("Hesher" & "Life of the Party") and 3 production credits for Jason Derulo ("Talk Dirty", "Wiggle", & "Side FX").
- New Politics' "Tonight You're Perfect" tumbles 12-20 like it is currently doing on the Hot AC chart lol. A lot of songs have been free falling off the chart recently ("m.A.A.d city", "Top of the World", "Rather Be"). These are songs that are really burning quickly on me, which does not normally happen. It might just be the 2014 'fever', considering I have yet to find an album I listen to all the time. "Cry" will probably not free fall off the chart, it'll probably chill in the 9-12 region like "Riptide" by: Vance Joy has been doing for numerous weeks. A free fall is another thing to keep an eye on for some songs on the chart.
- "Let Go" by: SafetySuit ends its historic run on my chart, dropping from the Top 20 for the first time since its debut in January 2012. It's gotten numerous amounts of saves and nearly got one this week again, but it was the odd man out with 2 debuts happening. "Never Stop" is still holding its historic run, it has not left the Top 10 since its debut during the same week "Let Go" debuted.
- 5 Seconds of Summer are on the rise this week with "She Looks So Perfect". Even though it's the first week I've put it on there, this has really been there for 3 weeks because for whatever reason I kept forgetting to put it on the on the rise chart.
On the Rise: "Love Runs Out" by: OneRepublic "Zipper" by: Jason Derulo "Pain Killer" by: Three Days Grace "Don't Kill the Magic" by: MAGIC! "She Looks So Perfect" by: 5 Seconds of Summer "The Game" by: Bel Heir "Evidence" by: 2AM Club "La La La" by: Naughty Boy (feat. Sam Smith) "Car Radio" by: twenty one pilots "Come With Me Now" by: KONGOS Dropouts: "Impossible (Animals Redux)" by: Ryan Star (from #19) Peak: #13 "Let Go" by: SafetySuit (from #20) Peak: #4

Glad to see "Wiggle" debut this week & "Me & My Broken Heart" still top 10! Hopefully "Wiggle" can wiggle it's way up to the top. :) Great chart this week.

I'm going to give you guys a list of the past #1's on the chart so you guys can get a rundown of what the chart was like back in the day before I started posting on here. Well anything before March 2014 lol. Since I never kept track of #1's between 2008?-2010, some might be missing, so because of that, I'll combine 2008?-2010. I also never kept track of the total weeks for 2011. There's a lot of Nickelback between 2008-2011, so beware lol.
2008?-2010: "Gotta Be Somebody" by: Nickelback "This Afternoon" by: Nickelback "Never Gonna Be Alone" by: Nickelback "Something In Your Mouth by: Nickelback "Tomorrow in the Bottle" by: Timbaland (feat. Scorcher) "When We Stand Together" by: Nickelback "This Means War" by: Nickelback "Hit the Lights" by: Jay Sean (feat. Lil Wayne) "Good Life" by: OneRepublic "Fairytale" by: Talay Riley "Marvin & Chardonnay" by: Big Sean (feat. Kanye West & Roscoe Dash)
2012: "Fairytale" by: Talay Riley (3 weeks in 2012, more in 2011) "Burning Up" by: Nick Carter (feat. • I forgot that "Pressure" was coming out in March Anyway, just listened to it and it's really good! • Still impressive the longevity of "Counting Stars". • Amazing to see "On Top" here. I still prefer "Holdin On" over this, but it's great to see a Flume track on a personal chart. I assume that I have to be grateful to the MLB 14: The Show's soundtrack. • "Riptide" and "Summer" are here too.

Shirt) | 12 | 26 | 15 | 17 | Good as Gold by: Talay Riley (feat. Scorcher) | 1 (?) | 285 | 18 | 18 | Life of the Party by: Wallpaper. | 2 | 120 | 16 | 19 | Side FX by: Jason Derulo (feat. Game) | 16 | 64 | D | 20 | Not On Drugs by: Tove Lo | 20 | 19 |
Notes: - "Pressure" by: Youngblood Hawke stays atop for one more week to push its total to 4 weeks. It will have some major competition as the Top 4 are all neck and neck with each other.
- "Kiss the Devil (Just A Gent Remix)" by: Bel Heir pushes 6-2 in its 2nd week on the chart. It was looking very good for this to hit #1 this week, but some songs got it to stay away (more on that in a sec).
- Tove Lo makes a scorching hot debut with "Habits" at #3. It gains 54 plays in its first week, making it the biggest play count in a week for the year. Tove Lo is the main reason Bel Heir stayed out of the #1 since she stole their thunder during the week. I have played Truth Serum around 15 times this week, where last week I played Bel Heir's discography around 11. Truth Serum scores 5 of its 6 songs on the chart, 2 debuting and 3 on the rise. Another milestone for Tove Lo, she now has the highest peak position for a female-leading artist with her #3 debut, beating ADELE's "Someone Like You" which hit #4 a few years ago.
- "Me and My Broken Heart" by: Rixton goes 7-6 to gain a new peak just outside the Top 5.
- Vance Joy returns to the Top 10 once again with "Riptide" going 11-10.
- "Talk Dirty" by: Jason Derulo (feat. 2 Chainz) falls 5-11 this week. It fell from the Top 5 over a month ago and continued to fall until Jason's new album helped lift it back up to #5. With "Wiggle" (14-13) rising on the chart, "Talk Dirty" might see the end of its day pretty soon.
- "Back Home" by: Andy Grammer makes a nice lift from 17-15, where it stood at for 2 weeks, to gain a new peak.
- Tove Lo's scores the final debut of the week with "Not On Drugs" at #20. Next week should be the real test for Tove Lo if she will be able to stick around for the long haul. Truth Serum is on the pace to be one of my top albums of 2014 (even though it's only an EP ).
On the Rise: "Out of Mind" by: Tove Lo "She Looks So Perfect" by: 5 Seconds of Summer "Don't Kill the Magic" by: MAGIC! "Love Runs Out" by: OneRepublic "Paradise" by: Tove Lo "Over" by: Tove Lo "Stand Up" by: The Cab "Moon" by: The Cab "Come With Me Now" by: KONGOS Dropouts: "Revolution" by: The Used (from #19) Peak: 14 "Tonight You're Perfect" by: New Politics (from #20) Peak: 6

New #1! LW | TW | Song + Artist | Peak | Plays | 3 | 1 | Habits by: Tove Lo | 1 (1) | 74 | 4 | 2 | Rude by: MAGIC! | 2 | 79 | 2 | 3 | Kiss the Devil (Just A Gent Remix) by: Bel Heir | 2 | 55 | 1 | 4 | Pressure by: Youngblood Hawke | 1 (4) | 81 | 6 | 5 | Me and My Broken Heart by: Rixton | 5 | 50 | 9 | 6 | Never Stop by: SafetySuit | 1 (18) | 302 | 5 | 7 | On Your Side by: SafetySuit | 1 (2) | 67 | 8 | 8 | Counting Stars by: OneRepublic | 1 (30) | 156 | 13 | 9 | Wiggle by: Jason Derulo (feat. Snoop Dogg) | 9 | 44 | 7 | 10 | Hesher by: Wallpaper. | 1 (3) | 116 | 16 | 11 | On Top by: Flume (feat. T. Shirt) | 11 | 35 | 10 | 12 | Riptide by: Vance Joy | 8 | 54 | 15 | 13 | Back Home by: Andy Grammer | 13 | 33 | 12 | 14 | Cry by: The Used | 3 | 76 | 14 | 15 | Summer by: Calvin Harris | 13 | 32 | 11 | 16 | Talk Dirty by: Jason Derulo (feat. 2 Chainz) | 3 | 77 | 20 | 17 | Not On Drugs by: Tove Lo | 17 | 23 | 17 | 18 | Good as Gold by: Talay Riley (feat. Scorcher) | 1 (?) | 287 | D | 19 | Words as Weapons by: Seether | 19 | 20 | 18 | 20 | Life of the Party by: Wallpaper. | 2 | 120 |
Notes: - Tove Lo is going to win the battle between the Top 4 and score her first #1 with "Habits" and it only took her 2 weeks to do it. It puts up an impressive +20 play count, which is great for a 2nd week. Another good thing to note, she now becomes the first lead female artist to have a #1 on my chart. She broke the peak record last week when she debuted at #3, beating ADELE's previous record.
- "Rude" by: MAGIC! makes a nice 4-2 jump to retain its original peak.
- Bel Heir drops 2-3 with "Kiss the Devil (Just A Gent Remix)". It was making some pretty big gains the past few weeks, and was also looking to go #1, but "Habits" beat it to it.
- "Pressure" by: Youngblood Hawke falls 1-4 after spending a month on top. This week's Top 4 was mainly based on play gains and this was the lowest gainer in the Top 4, only going +2.
- Rixton scores their first Top 5 with "Me and My Broken Heart". They'll have a tough road ahead of them with the Top 4 being so closely intact.
- "Never Stop" by: SafetySuit finally reaches the 300 play mark this week. This becomes the first song to reach that milestone. Another thing to note, the Wedding Version of the song has a total of 66 plays, technically giving the song a whopping total of 368 plays. The next song to possibly reach the 300 play mark is "Good As Gold" (17-18 this week) with 287 plays. SafetySuit could possibly get 2 songs to reach 300, "Let Go" is currently at 245 plays.
- Jason Derulo hops into the Top 10 with "Wiggle" (feat. Snoop Dogg) going 13-9. This could be the song of the summer for my chart and even the US as it is making some pretty big gains on iTunes (currently at #9). There was also a pretty awesome cat Vine of this.
- "On Top" by: Flume (feat. T. Shirt) makes a 16-11 jump to obtain a new peak. It dropped 12-16 last week, so this was a good rebound for the song. It will look to enter the Top 10 next week.
- Andy Grammer continues to make small gains as "Back Home" goes 15-13 for a new peak. This also has a shot for the Top 10 next week.
- "Not On Drugs" by: Tove Lo makes a nice 20-17 gain. It was originally considered a one-weeker on the chart last week, but it will stick around for another and possibly more.
- "Words as Weapons" by: Seether skips over the On the Rise chart and debuts at #19. This is the 4th song in the past 3 weeks to not appear on the On the Rise chart and go straight to the main chart. Seether is no stranger to the Top 20, as they have had 5 songs to chart prior to this. "Tonight" is their highest song which peaked at #2 a few years back.
On the Rise: "She Looks So Perfect" by: 5 Seconds of Summer "Don't Kill the Magic" by: MAGIC! "Peace" by: O.A.R. "Stand Up" by: The Cab "Love Runs Out" by: OneRepublic "Pain Killer" by: Three Days Grace "Moon" by: The Cab "Out of Mind" by: Tove Lo "Far Alone" by: G-Eazy (feat. E-40 & Jay Ant) "Over" by: Tove Lo Dropouts: "Side FX" by: Jason Derulo (feat. Game) (from #19) Peak: #16

Me and My Broken Heart in top 5!!! Starting to really get into Stay High (the Habits remix) So YAY!!! Good chart! :) I don't like the remix all that much. The original is much better imho. It's the only song from Truth Serum that hasn't at least made my On the Rise chart. I don't understand the major appeal of it.

Notes: - Tove Lo rules for her second week with "Habits". "Habits" looks to stay atop for awhile in the near future.
- The Top 5 consists of the same songs with the only movement being "Kiss the Devil (Just a Gent Remix)" & "Rude" flipping spots (2&3).
- "Wiggle" by: Jason Derulo (feat. Snoop Dogg) continues its rapid movement, going 9-6 this week. It's got a great chance in hitting the Top 5 next week.
- "Hesher" by: Wallpaper. rebounds 10-8, avoiding its first Top 10 drop since the first weeks in its chart run.
- Flume (feat. T. Shirt) hit the Top 10 with "On Top" coming in at #10.
- "On Your Side" by: SafetySuit takes a drop going 7-11 this week. Play gains have been minimal the past few weeks and it may be seeing its end very soon. Hopefully SafetySuit releases new music soon, I need some more!
- "Back Home" by: Andy Grammer takes another increase going 13-12 for a new peak. Top 10 is very possible next week.
- Wallpaper. makes another rebound with "Life of the Party", going 20-16, avoiding falling off the chart.
- "Summer" by: Calvin Harris continues to drop, going 15-18. Once the summer weather starts kicking in every day, this song could see huge gains.
- The lone debut this week goes to MAGIC! with "Don't Kill the Magic" debuting at #20. So far, they have had both of their singles hit the Top 20.
- "Not On Drugs" by: Tove Lo falls off the chart after a short two weeks on it.
On the Rise: "Peace" by: O.A.R. "Love Runs Out" by: OneRepublic "She Looks So Perfect" by: 5 Seconds of Summer "Pain Killer" by: Three Days Grace "Dangerous" by: Big Data (feat. Notes: - "Habits" by: Tove Lo scores another week at #1 for its third week straight. It is starting to pull far away from the #2 spot. This has the potential to be the "Counting Stars" of the year (which led for 26 weeks in 2013!).
- The Top 3 stays the same with hardly any movement from the #2 & #3 spots.
- Jason Derulo pushes another song into the Top 5 with "Wiggle" (feat. Snoop Dogg) going 6-4. This becomes Jason's third Top 5 hit from Talk Dirty ("The Other Side" #4; "Talk Dirty" #3). This could easily surpass these two next week.
- "On Top" by: Flume (feat. T. Shirt) goes 10-7 this week to achieve a new peak. This so far leads the pack of MLB 14: The Show songs and is the only one to debut thus far. Aloe Blacc, Big Data (feat. Joywave) (currently on On the Rise), Broken Bells, and Sir Sly have all spent multiple weeks on the On the Rise chart. Big Data (feat. Joywave)'s "Dangerous" has a shot at debuting soon.
- "Back Home" by: Andy Grammer vaults into the Top 10 going 12-9. This becomes Andy's third Top 10 hit in 4 tries. "Fine By Me" hit #4, "Miss Me" hit #7, and "Crazy Beautiful" hit #14.
- O.A.R. and OneRepublic finally make their long-awaited debuts with "Peace" at #15 and "Love Runs Out" at #16 respectively. "Peace" has spent numerous amounts of weeks on and off the On the Rise chart. It had a leave of absence for a few weeks before vaulting back in and making paces to where it is now. "Love Runs Out" was looking to be the next #1 on the chart upon release, but was a little underwhelming to me. It spent 5 consecutive weeks near the top of the chart before debuting.
- "Summer" by: Calvin Harris and "Don't Kill the Magic" by: MAGIC! leave the chart this week. "Don't Kill the Magic" was expected to only be a one-weeker, and gain a new peak later when it gets released as an official single in the US ("Rude" is currently slaying :))). "Summer" was a little underwhelming its whole run. When it was released, I was expecting a Top 10 hit easily. It only hit #13 after spending 5 short weeks on the chart. It was On the Rise for a 5 weeks (like "Love Runs Out").
On the Rise: "A Sky Full of Stars" by: Coldplay "Dangerous" by: Big Data (feat. Joywave) "Come With Me Now" by: KONGOS "She Looks So Perfect" by: 5 Seconds of Summer "Pain Killer" by: Three Days Grace "Tiptoe" by: Imagine Dragons "Zipper" by: Jason Derulo "Magic" by: Coldplay "Midnight" by: Coldplay "Ten Feet Tall" by: Afrojack (feat. Wrabel) Dropouts: "Summer" by: Calvin Harris (from #18) Peak: #13 "Don't Kill the Magic" by: MAGIC! (from #20) Peak: #20
