Momumasterpiece? That one I haven't heard before lol. I might use that in the future to describe an actual monumasterpiece. BTW if I were a dick, I'd point out how you spelled it 'monumesterpiece", and imply that somewhere in there, the word "mess" takes some significant form I guess you're a dick then nah, it's all hypothetical...no worries

The whole E.P. is great. If you like this one, then check out "Twisted Tongue" and "Imagination Infatuation" They also have a acoustic type version of "Reflections" I still prefer the original one, because it makes the chorus come alive. Mandy Lee is also full of NRG when performing live.

Sorry to bump this thread, but I just heard this for the first time today, and I'd like to add that I'm pretty much on board with the majority - this is bad.
The song sounds like a 70s disco reject and the girl can demolish buildings with her singing.

It actually grew on me enough to chart it for a week, but admittedly that's due to the song's amazing verses. The chorus is still weak, and honestly I don't think it really fits well with the rest of the song.

This newbie is really digging this song. It is all about the vocals on the verses and fun retro-discoey vibe. However, i really am surprised that this is doing so well on Alternative, sounds more Hot AC to me.

:( Sad cause I'm really into this band now. "Our Own House" or "Hurricane" for next single.

I just heard this one on HitPredictor. Quoting myself here: "She doesn't have as good a voice as people tell her she has."

I'd say top 40 is enough of an achievement for a new band on their first single, not really "jack shit"

I'd say top 40 is enough of an achievement for a new band on their first single, not really "jack s**t" Compared to other new acts like Milky Chance, Vance Joy, Big Data who have achieved more with their first single, I was worried that this might reach their level of success. Thankfully, it didn't.

Don't even get me started on comparing this catchy addicting full of vibrant life song with that minimal instrument boring music of Vance Joy and Milky Chance. "Reflections" was a breath of fresh air on the Alt charts. It needs more female fronted bands to pick up the pace. next single should be "Twisted Toungue"

I think the next single will be "Our Own House" but I'm hoping for "Hurricane"

Before this falls off the chart, I wanted to come in and mention that I love the Alvin & the Chipmunks vocal performance on this, and that it's the one thing that'll keep this on future playlists for me instead of dismissing it as a bunch of east coast hipsters smiling and jumping around demonstrating blind happiness for no apparent reason while an overproduced Diana Ross sample plays in the background. It's roughly 99% unoriginal, but Mandy's part just makes it memorable, so it works for me.

I seriously can't tell if that was a positive or negative comment. What's with the Alvin and the Chipmunks comment? Or is there a remix I havn't heard?

Lol, mostly positive, even though most aspects of the song I'd rate from negative to strongly negative, the uniqueness of the vocals make it stand out to me and makes it work.
And she does sound a bit like Alvin. That was my first impression anyway; everybody here called it Dolores O'Riordon which I somehow never heard the first 3 months of hearing the song but I listened one more time last night and totally hear it now.
