Very close top 4. Slight nod to "Anyway" since I do enjoy the message.
1. Anyway 2. When God Fearin' Woman Get The Blues 3. My Baby Loves Me 4. Safe In The Arms Of Love
5. The Time Has Come
6. Still Holdin' On w/Clint Black 7. Rose Garden
8. Ride 9. Teenage Daughters 10. This One's For The Girls
11. I Love You (as far as this can possibly go on the bottom)
6 & 7 are OK. Martina's remake sounded exactly like the original, which even though I don't like them to be too different, that doesn't mean they have to be almost identical. 8-10 are bad IMHO. But 11 is one of my least favorites ever in country music.

Not a huge fan of Martina, but those first three are pretty good

I posted Still Holding On because that was the first album of hers I ever bought. My Baby Loves Me and Anyway are easily 2nd and 3rd. I really like all of them though with This Ones For The Girls and Teenage Daughters are my least favorites

"Anyway" followed by "I Love You" and "My Baby Loves Me"
I like quite a few of her singles, but as I am now finding out, most of them are not lead singles.

So, apparently I missed this one... I am so ashamed!!! 1) Anyway 2) When God-Fearin' Women Get The Blues 3) Ride 4) Safe In The Arms Of Love 5) Still Holding On 6) I Love You 7) My Baby Loves Me 8) This One's For The Girls 9) (I Never Promised You A) Rose Garden 10) The Time Has Come 11) Teenage Daughters This was extraordinarily difficult... I do not think it is much of a secret around here that I absolutely love Martina, and I worship everything she does similar to .indulgecountry with Sara Evans (although my Sara obsession approaches similar levels). But in my opinion, there is not a single bad song in this bunch. They are so incredibly diverse, and together form a collection of vocal brilliance that is astounding, especially considering that few of her best vocal efforts were her lead singles! Anyway, "Anyway" and "God-Fearin' Women" are neck and neck for first place, but "Anyway" gets the slight edge because everything about it is stellar, from the vocal delivery to the message to the instrumentation and arrangement. I LOVE "God-Fearin' Women" because it is so unique, and so different from anything in her catalog while still being completely perfect for her. It strikes an unbelievably fresh balance between more traditional and modern country, and sounds like a '90s song that could still be successful today! "Ride" is up there for me, because I love the edgy rock vibe that she kinda took with that album. Once again, a decent message, paired with a stellar vocal performance. Then we get "Safe in the Arms of Love". I always forget that it was a single, because it is so overshadowed by "Wild Angels". But it is one of those songs that I just cannot imagine anyone disliking. "Still Holding On" is probably my favorite duet of all time. Clint and Martina's voices just sound so good together, and this one allows both of them to soar. "I Love You" is her biggest hit, and also one that a lot of people do not like. I do like it however. It uses cool words in the chorus! It does sound overly sappy and cheesy, I know, but I enjoy it :) "My Baby Loves Me" is a fantastic song, that I always seem to forget about. It sort've feels like one of those songs from the pre-"Independence Day" days where Martina didn't quite know who she was as an artist yet. It is just a great song that doesn't seem to match up with the rest of her catalog, but is still really good. "This One's For The Girls" marks the first of these songs that I could take or leave. I love the song, don't get me wrong, but it is one that I know turned a lot of people against her for its sappy girl-power message that she has been criticized for running into the ground. "Rose Garden" is a phenomenal song, and so well done, but it just is somewhat forgettable in the face of her original material. This album should have been treated as a side project and never had singles released, because the lack of radio success for this era completely killed her star-power and momentum right about the time that Carrie and Miranda and Taylor stormed onto the scene. I feel like "Anyway" might have been a smash #1 if it had been coming off of the success of her "Martina" album, when she was more white-hot than ever before. "The Time Has Come" is a good song, and does not seem quite as outdated as some artists' debut singles do now. But it is just a good song, there is nothing special about it. And finally "Teenage Daughters". I do like the song, and it is cute, but it probably should not have been her debut single from the album. Especially with Scott Borchetta behind her, I think "One Night" could have smashed huge with radio, and then she may have had enough momentum to get "I'm Gonna Love You Through It" to #1 and then "Broken Umbrella" or "Whatcha Gonna Do" could have finished out the era and kept her alive on the charts... (I think it was a horribly handled era, if you couldn't tell.) "Teenage Daughters", while not a bad song in the slightest, was definitely not the right song to lead off the album with.
