Is this a real song? This guys career is over before it started.

I clicked play and then quickly forgot that there was a song playing in the background. It's not very catchy, his voice is mediocre, and production taps into every modern trend I can't stand. But then again I'm not wasted, so I'm not the target audience he was looking for in the first place.

im not a big fan of the song! i feel like this has way to much production and this song tries way to hard to sound fun when all it is is is to much production. i actually do like his voice though. i have zero idea of where his chances stand on radio but i do know where his chances stand on being played in my car. and for my first listen of this guy im not impressed...

This is just a typical upbeat safe debut single. The overall sound is trying to capitalize on what has for the most part been successful at country radio. kw9461 was right on him or I not being the target audience for this song but it's unfortunate that labels settle for mediocrity to please the younger party crowd. His vocals are average, the song is just a giant cliche fest (I had a feeling it was going to be with a title like "Get It On"), and the production drowns out any sliver of uniqueness this song could muster.

This song is just...not good, at all. If this is the best they could come up with to lead-off his career, then I can't imagine his debut album being much (if any) better. He is on Capitol so he has that going for him, but I honestly don't see this one doing much.

I agree that this is pretty bad. There's nothing about it that sets it apart from what else is out there.

It's okay. Might be a grower. It's a pretty typical song and the arrangement is weak.

So I'm guessing this one is done now? I hope I'm not the only one who's glad this didn't take off. Hopefully he has something better to offer otherwise he's just a waste of space on Capitol.

It went recurrent last week Monday (9/20 chart), as it didn't have a bullet on the 9/6 and 9/13 charts and it failed to re-bullet last week.

Not a fan of this particular song, but saw him live a couple of weeks ago and this guy is extremely talented. Can shred a guitar to boot. Just don't know how some of these labels are coming up with such bad debut singles these days that can kill a guy before he even gets started good.
