5. Sophia May - Another Day (Sunfreakz Radio Edit) Classic 90's Tracks of the Week: Apotheosis - O Fortuna (1991) Artie The 1 Man Party - A Mover La Colita (1995)
Good stuff here. I love that Sophia May song. Sirius BPM use to play that a lot around 2009 as well as Pulse 87. I was also a fan of The Sunfreakz remix of Bellatrax & Sophia May's "I Can't Help Myself". Great classics. "O Fortuna" was used in the Double Dragon movie trailer in 1994. Watch the trailer here. Terrible movie though. It did have Robert Patrick, Alyssa Milano and Marc Dacascos in it but wasn't enough to save the film. And that sample of "A Mover La Colita". Originally it's from the Colombian cumbia band La Sonora Dinamita. Watch it here. My mom is a big fan of La Sonora Dinamita.

Haha oh my gosh I am LOL-ing so hard I can't even believe you know "A Mover La Colita" samples La Sonora Dinamita. My parents love them - well back in the day anyway. I was such a big latin house fan and it was always fun to see what random Spanish tracks were sampled on some of them.
I never saw Double Dragon but now I'm tempted too haha. I used to hear a lot of these early 90's tracks on vinyl thanks to my older brother who was obsessed and got me into the scene as a kid.

I never saw Double Dragon but now I'm tempted too haha. It's worth watching it for guilty pleasure and for laughs of how cheesy and bad it was. There are a few full movies up on Youtube: Double Dragon (1994) Full Movie

Very nice chart. I'm in love with a lot of the songs there, and a breakout on my chart for me this week is the Example song. <3 Will definitely be checking quite a few of songs that I'm unfamiliar with as well. :)

Your chart looks great as well. Super fun how you do the video - I don't know how you do that but it must be a lot of work.
I love that Example song but I'm starting to get into his new one now so that's probably coming up soon for me!

Robert Miles - One And One (Ft. Maria Nayler) (1996)The Crystal Method - Busy Child (1997) I like the Robert Miles song. It was his second song and last to chart on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100. Maria Nayler's voice is beautiful. I also like the one she did with Ferry Corsten called " We Belong". "Busy Child" is a classic. My favorite from Crystal Method is "Keep Hope Alive". It was used in the opening theme for a former NBC show called " Third Watch". Great chart as always. A great start for the Cahill remix of "Boom Clap".

"Keep Hope Alive" is probably my favorite also - it will make an appearance later on, for sure.
Thanks for your positive feedback, as always!

Thanks Juan Carlos! I was hoping OMD (SWM) might hit #1 but the competition is too tough at this point. Also, I love seeing "Lionhearted" so high up on your chart!

Top 5 This Week in 2009:5. Dash Berlin - Man On The Run Classic 90's Tracks of the Week: Channel X - Rave The Rhythm (1991) Jennifer Paige- Crush (David Morales Club Edit) (1998)
I might have the same number one on Mondays chart. Love "Man on the run" by Dash Berlin. Very similar sounding to "Till The Sky Falls Down" and "Waiting". These were the reasons that I became a big Dash Berlin fan. Ah yes Channel X's "Rave The Rhythm". Those were the times. And I love that Jennifer Paige song even the original. David Morales did a great job on that remix. A lot of great memories of 1998.

Ok, I keep saying I'm going to catch up but its been hard to keep up with all my charts this week. However, here is last week's chart and I'm 99.9% certain I will post this week's chart tomorrow.
This week brings a new #1 as Ariana Grande takes the top spot. Meanwhile, Oliver $ & Jimi Jules and The Vamps both charge into the top 20. Two songs debut including a huge entry from Alesso with Tove Lo. Finally, the Classic 90's Tracks of the Week transport us back to '92, '96 & '97.

Yay Ariana Grande hits number one. And a great start for Alesso & Tove Lo's "Heroes". Great classics here. The bass for "Jump" does remind me a bit of 2 Unlimited's "Twilight Zone" and the Mortal Kombat theme. Such a groove. Now it's having M.C. sar & The Real McCoy's " It's On You" on my mind for some reason. Later on they went to be known as just The Real McCoy with smash hits 'Another Night' and 'Run Away'. And the top 4 UK hit "There's Nothing I Won't Do" is definitely a classic. I also liked "Son Of A Gun" by JX. Ahhh yes Hex Hector mix of "Just a Freak". Just phenomenal. I love Hex Hector's mixes from the 90's and early 2000's Those were the days. Great chart.

Your top ten is literally too perfect. I love seeing "Habits" smashing, "Break Free" at number one, and "Right Here"/"Faded" doing well.
I'm also really enjoying the "Heroes" debut, and I'm hoping that "Ultraviolence" can keep going.
Great chart, Albie! :)

And didn't Hex Hector just kill it back in the day? Like oh my gosh, he worked it! "Break Free" #1 and "Heroes" debuting <3 I thought that might please you Lahey. I'm really into my top 10 right now (obvs), if I do say so myself. But some strong songs are coming quickly. We'll how this all goes.
As always, thanks for the comments guys. I'm finally all caught up on my charts. I was hoping to post this week's dance chart this morning before football but I guess I'm not going to make it. Hopefully in the next few days so I don't get so far behind again.
P.s. I'm considering starting to post my Alt chart since that is finally back up to date - not sure if I should do it here or go into the Alt section. Feedback appreciated. Thanks!!
