I just wanna give some factual insight into why this song is flopping. www.allaccess.com/mediabase/q/report/leaders/song/GASLGH++/format/R3Then isolate the one "big" station there, which is the Philly one. Those audience figures are absolutely terrible, the listeners don't want this. Even if you look at the Philly numbers, the couple of songs below it with less plays have the same audience figure, and the Twenty One Pilots song with 2 extra spins has significantly higher audience, and the higer ranked songs (with the exception of Riptide) have vastly superior audience per spin numbers as well. Honestly I liked it initially but I got over it so fast, this was incredibly boring. So no, it isn't because this "isn't an indie-pop song." I don't understand what point you're trying to make. Audience per spin numbers have to do with what time of day the song is being played (e.g., overnight spins have way lower audience than spins during the afternoon drive). Low audience per spin doesn't mean the audience dislikes the song. Now, if a song has been relegated to overnight play, it could indicate that it tested poorly, but there's no way to know that just from looking at these numbers. That should be obvious. My point is that this isn't flopping simply because it isn't "indie". And I highly doubt a top 10 song on a station that gets played 30ish times per week is relegated to overnight play.

"Rollin and Tumblin" has been sticking in the alt top 100 for weeks now, so whether that's hurting "Get Hurt"s chances or not idk

I thought the album started off really strong but was really weak near the end. I really enjoyed "Stay Vicious" to "Rollin' & Tumblin'" but I don't remember any of the songs after that.

As much as I am a fan of this, I think the album had better single choices. I would've went "1000 Years' personally. But even still, most of the best songs on this album succeed more as guilty pleasures than anything that could succeed commercially. Unless of course they came out in 1988.
