This is really good. I know it won't be a hit but I'm really hoping it is.

This is really good. I know it won't be a hit but I'm really hoping it is. I agree, this song's really growing on me. I still believe that American Young came around 8-10 years too late. I believe a song like "Love Is War" could have been a bigger hit if it was released in 2004 instead of 2013. I don't exactly know where things are going to go for them being on Curb Records, just because I can't really get a good feel for how Curb will do with artists not named Lee Brice. I just don't see how this song will do any better than "Love Is War" did (#42 on MB), but one can hope.

Live performance courtesy of The Hot Seat.
This song keeps getting better and better. The instrumentation, production, and vocals are excellent. It's right up there with "Love Is War" in my book. Now for the not so encouraging news; It got just 15 adds this past Monday, which was it's impact date. I'm still not really expecting this to do much and certainly not expecting this to match the #42 peak on MB of which "Love Is War" got early this year. We all know how Curb recording artist not named Lee Brice are being treated by radio programmers the past few years, and while that definitely has a ton to do with it, I don't feel this kind of song is really going to be conducive with what's popular right now. Hopefully this can at least stay viable on the charts for close to how long "Love Is War" lasted, which was just over 25 weeks, and can crack the top 50 at some point.

This is alright. Doesn't really move the pendulum one way or the other for me, and I liked "Love Is War" better. But as far as radio potential goes, this sounds far more accessible than their debut single, so maybe it'll do about as well or possibly even sneak into the Top 40. OTOH, this is being released on Curb Records so that's not too promising in 2014 unless your name is Lee Brice.

I like this one a lot but I'm not getting my hopes up considering their label. Having said that they do seem to be Curb's second priority right not so there's a slight chance they make the top 30 or so. They definatley need more adds though.
