I know Martina has announced that there will not be any singles for her new album "Everlasting". Which is probably wise, because there is almost zero chance that any of them could be successful on country radio. However, I do feel like the album is filled to the brim with amazing music, and it is fun to speculate about which songs are good enough to make you think "I wouldn't mind hearing this on the radio!" So here is the place to speculate! You may make FOUR choices (as 4 is a pretty standard amount of singles for an album), and then please comment on what you think the order should be and why.

01. Bring It On Home To Me (Feat. Gavin DeGraw) - Duet would get more attention than a solo single and it's easily the most radio friendly song here.
02. Suspicious Minds - it's got history at the format so I could see radio potentially playing this one, though it's not my favorite from the album.
03. If You Don't Know Me By Now - It's my favorite vocal on a track that's radio friendly. I think this could actually do well if pushed by a big label.
04. "In The Basement (Feat. Kelly Clarkson)" or "Perfect" - "Perfect" is more radio friendly and covers of pop songs sometimes do well. "In The Basement" is probably the most talked about track and that buzz could've been enough to get it some traction. I voted "Perfect" because if I was her management I'd want to play it kinda safe at that point.

1) Suspicious Minds: One of the best on the album in my opinion, and it seems to have a lot of buzz. I could see it being huge if everything fell into place correctly.
2) If You Don't Know Me By Now: My initial thought on this song was "Huh. Kinda boring." But 2 listens later I couldn't get it out of my head! I too could see this being very successful if pushed by a big label. It would be a huge risk, but one that actually has potential to pay off big. It is one of those songs that might just get a chance coming as a second single behind a big hit.
3) Wild Night: Probably the funnest song on the album. It is SO CATCHY, and after a slower second single that took forever to climb, this would be totally perfect to revamp the excitement for the era!
4) Perfect: It may be a bonus track, but it is one of the best songs on the album. It is so Martina, but also so fresh, and just endearing and cute and meaningful and I love it! I love the fact that it is a modern pop song that completely fits the rest of the album. It sounds rustic yet modern, and would be a perfect transition for the debut single of her brand new album of original music that would be about to come out at this point :)

I have to say that, as much as I love this album, I really think Martina made the right choice by not releasing any radio singles. She probably has a very limited number of chances left at radio, and she's smart to save it for an album of new material (even then, she may not have much luck).
If this were 10 years ago, I would say:
1. "Suspicious Minds" - it has some history at the format, and she absolutely nails it
2. "If You Don't Know Me By Now" - great vocals
3. "Perfect" - she does a great job on this, and makes it her own
4. "In The Basement" - she should probably release a collaboration at some point, and this one would probably create more interest at country radio
Alternate choice: "Wild Night"
