The clips of all of these sound pretty good, particularly the "How Do I Live" and "I Need You". I was a tad concerned initially about newer ones being featured instead of previously released ones in light of the hot ass mess that was the Donna Summer remix album (it did have a few good ones though I felt that most of the remixes strayed too far from the original and/or were devoid of melody). But, it seems it's more in line with the Amy Grant remix album which also features entirely new remixes by current remixers. I have been a fan of LeAnn's music in remixed form over the years. EDIT: It's nice to see you back bks. You have been missed.

I don't know why they went with "help me make it.." to promote the album. it sounds awful and the beat doesn't match the slow vocals. the live performance on The view was odd. They should've gone with You've ruined me or Spitfire so it also could promote the original songs since it from her latest album and it wasn't promoted as a single neither of them and it's not a cover either. very stupid decision. oh well..

Or even "Moonlight" - we all remember it fondly and Alias remix is very strong!

Cahill's remix of "How Do I Live" https%3A//soundcloud.com/cahillofficial/leanne-rimes-how-do-i-live
This is really uplifting and beautiful. I was a fan of the RH Factor and Mr. Mig remixes from the original release back in the day, and even the Almighty mix done later on.

HDIL sounds hot! I wish she would've rerecorded her vocals like Mariah Carey's remixes

Thanks again to bks for all the info nearly a month ago about this release! I am glad it is doing well so far (it is at #5 on the iTunes Dance Albums chart as I type this post) and has been well-received among most who have been fans of her remixed work, and even some who are only casual fans of her remixed material. It killed me that more than half of the reviews on iTunes are about how 'desperate' a remix album is for her at this stage of her career ???. It's understandable that many fans who are only familiar with her Country work might be shocked or surprised by the remix album as this is not the style they are used to from her, and that's fine. It's not that uncommon to do a remix album as many have before her. Britney, Deborah, Justin, Madonna, Mariah, Michael, Toni, and Whitney are some who did in the past. I think the remix album is well-done. I appreciate the fact that most of the remixes are new, and that the remixers selected were suitable for the songs they were hired to remix. I enjoyed all of the remixes. I love the "Can't Fight The Moonlight", "Headphones", "How Do I Live", "I Need You", "Nothin' Better To Do", "Strong", and "You've Ruined Me" mixes the most. The only thing that seemed really off to me were the mastering on the "Gasoline And Matches". It feels like it's too dry or something happened with the compression. It's like the mids setting on the equalizer was turned all the way down. The one posted on LeAnn's YouTube channel has better sound overall. I didn't buy the remix when it originally came out as a radio edit a few months back, but the clip on iTunes sounds similar.
