Not to be "that guy", but I hope this can do something on Alternative as well, as I've noticed that heavier bands are (somewhat) doing a bit better recently.

Lol it would be downright shocking for a DJ to play Budapest, then follow it with this song. I'm all for it though if it means less bland indie crap.

I really really want this to do well on alternative but I don't see that happening; the latest singles from Three Days Grace and Seether still couldn't break the top 30; plus their last top 10 active hit, "Blow Me Away", couldn't go beyond the top 30 (#37 peak) when rock bands such as Seether and Chevelle could still reach the top 10. I see this hitting top 30 at best on alternative. Hopefully I'm proven wrong.

sounds like the Breaking Benjamin of old...therefore it is great and it will probably get about 3-4 weeks at nr. 1 on the mainstream rock chart.

Hopefully it doesn't live up to its title. Just saying...

That was pretty solid, more or less what I expected from these guys. Great return.

This would be the perfect year for this to have Alternative success. I really do hope this goes top 5. Maybe it'll smash in both Alt and Active? I want more of a balance! (It's slowly happening..)

LOVE this song. Makes me miss Breaking Benjamin. I think I will start listening to their other songs again.

The one Breaking Benjamin song that I genuinely love is "So Cold", and this song gives me a similar vibe. I like it!

Not the best Breaking Benjamin song I've ever heard, but pretty damn awesome. So great to have these guys back no matter what that would have sounded like :)

That was pretty damn good, sounds like vintage BB. I think this can be a 10 week #1 on Active, should be huge.

I like this. This got all the way up to #3 on iTunes. :o Mainly because of album pre-orders, but still pretty impressive.

I like this, as I have just about every one of their previous singles, so it's not shocking. Ready for this to blow up on active rock!

I like it about as much as I liked "I Will Not Bow" when it came out. But "So Cold" and "Diary Of Jane" are a full class ahead as far as BB lead singles are concerned.

Not quite as good as "So Cold" and "The Diary of Jane", but it's on par with "I Will Not Bow", which I still thought was excellent, so overall, a great return from Ben + 4 new members. This'll blow up on Active I'm sure, but IMO it avoids any unnecessary heaviness enough to at least make a dent on Alternative. (Hoping optimistically for a Top 20 there) Oh, and the artwork and tracklist are out as well. 1. "Dark" 2:10 2. "Failure" 3:34 3. "Angels Fall" 3:48 4. "Breaking the Silence" 3:01 5. "Hollow" 3:51 6. "Close to Heaven" 4:09 7. "Bury Me Alive" 4:04 8. "Never Again" 3:43 9. "The Great Divide" 4:12 10. "Ashes of Eden" 4:53 11. "Defeated" 3:25 12. "Dawn" 1:52 Awesome art if you ask me.

Not as good as "Diary Of Jane" nor "Give Me A Sign" nor the classic; "So Cold", but very solid Hard Rock sound. Besides; BB always know how to do a catchy great bridg and chorus. I doubt Alt will even touch this, unless it goes #1 on Active: which very easily could happen IMOP.
The album itself has some very radio friendly run times for the songs, so ;based on song titles, I'm gonna guess, "Angels Fall" ,"Close To Heaven" and "Never Again" to become potential album cuts or even future singles.

Haha...
*Core active act releases new single*
Everyone: "OMG THIS BETTER DO WELL ON ALT OTHERWISE WTF ALT"
*Song eventually flops, peaking at #22 on alt while Milky Chance and Ah Di Bi Doe are still in the top 10*
Everyone: "ARRRRRGGGGGHHHHHH GAHHHHH WTF ALTERNATIVE"
Some poster being rational: "Great for BB to get their 4th #1 on Active!!!!"

I'd love for this to do well on Alt, but that's a huge long-shot. I think best case scenario is that it hits the Top 30.

Hey, hey. For what it's worth, it grabbed 6 Alternative adds this week, making it tied for the third most added song. Sure, not as much as Active's 31, but it's still a start. If it was last year - 2 years ago it probably would've gotten 3 at best. So I think this has a chance at catching on. On a side note, "Human Race", 3DG's third single, got 4. Also, I don't really do the "WTF ALTERNATIVE" thing anymore, seeing as how I now pay attention to both charts. If it was me from 2013, I would've raged at Alternative for ignoring "Face Everything and Rise" and "Deep Six". Besides, I think Alternative has gotten quite a bit better since I was in that "WTF ALT" phase. *cough2013-2014cough* I'll be happy with this song's inevitable Active success, but I will still root for it on Alternative and hope it does well there.
