In terms of music popularity, it should go to Adele.
But when incorporating everything: including touring, single's chart positions, quantity of material, etc. it'll easily go to Taylor Swift.
It's between Adele and Taylor Swift basically. No one else really comes close

You should probably add Selena Gomez & One Republic to the OP, since they will probably be above one year wonders like Fetty
SELENA GOMEZ 2010 - #39 2011 - #31 2012 - #51 2013 - #29 2014 - #49 2015 - #12 2016 - #11 2017 - #35
ONE REPUBLIC 2010 - #43 2011 - #53 2012 - N/A 2013 - #73 2014 - #15 2015 - N/A 2016 - N/A 2017 - N/A
Trying to think of any other big acts were missing.....

IMO, Adele deserves to be the #1 artist of the '10s.

I would've thought Taylor, but her "sophomore" pop album is a mess. I think Adele's got this.

I’m going with Rihanna. She’s the only one who consistently finds success every year whether it’s from one of her own songs or from a feature. Adele is a close second; she doesn’t have consistent success like Rihanna but when she does have new music out, it is massive.

Based on albums/singles stats, Taylor Swift most likely, Adele deserve this much more, but she only have 2 albums in this decade vs Taylor's 4. Based on popularity/sales/chart performance: Album artists 1.Adele 2.Taylor 3.Beyonce/Drake
Single 1.Rihanna 2.Bruno 3.Katy

What's the billboard tracking year again? I seem to remember all of 25's blitz going into the 2016 chart year, and 1989 being #1 for 2015. With that, if Adele doesn't release next year, that could be it for her for chart points for this decade aside from a lead single's first few weeks.

Smh. The bias against Taylor...
I really think that she will take this. I can't see any other competitiors except Adele, but if she doesn't release much else, she isn't going to take it.

No way Adele gets the crown, unfortunately. I'd say Taylor has the lead right now but there's still time for Drake to release 12 more albums before the end of 2019 so yeah.
