I do think this is done, and like raylatch98 pointed out, I don't think if WAR were still pushing this they would've posted an ad in this week's Country Aircheck for three artists whose singles aren't doing nearly as poorly as "Trouble" and left out mention of Gloriana. The 300k gain yesterday was comparable to the 258k gain Jake Owen's "What We Ain't Got" posted on 3/31, even though RCA had pulled the plug on Jake's single by that time. As jhomes87 explained in the thread for "What We Ain't Got," some stations wait until after the weekly airplay charts come out to adjust their playlists for the week, and since the charts were released Tuesday evening, it is possible some stations waited 'til Wednesday to pull "Trouble" from rotation. It would've been beneficial if this could have stayed alive just one week more to maximize Gloriana's album sales, but "Trouble" has still had a respectable chart run for such a poor seller. This one is definitely finished. The 293k in audience gained yesterday was just a mirage really as "Trouble" lost 80 spins and nearly 500k in audience. I do think stations could have waited til Wednesday to pull it from rotation like you mentioned as Warner saw the writing in the wall this past week. Radio probably would have liked to let this go a couple weeks ago but the label really did a lot to keep it going. I'm not overly optimistic about their subsequent single(s) from their upcoming album though as "Trouble" sold very poorly, and I doubt that radio are willing to support another poor seller for a thirty week climb to the top 25. We'll see what Gloriana have to offer though with the follow up.

Maybe Gloriana will get a song that sells like hotcakes and bread. Let's hope. Top 25 isn't bad for Trouble right?

I hope there's a hidden gem in the album where hopefully one of those songs radio will eat up. :)

I still...STILL can't believe "Best Night Ever" wasn't a top 10 hit. That song had all the right ingredients to be a smash, IMHO.

I liked this one but I think a couple things hurt it. It is a little *loud* in the production aspect. It is sung by a female (we all know how that goes). It's just not really memorable aside from being catchy. It could have told a story, ala "Before He Cheats" but it really just stayed on the surface of the guy being in "trouble."
Not to mention the "whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa"s are undeniably similar to those in "Somethin' Bad".

The bottom really fell out today. It lost 149 spins and nearly 1 million in AI. This is definitely going recurrent on Monday.

None of the stations around here added Best Night Ever to my knowledge, which is really out of character for WATZ and WKJC at least. WATZ has been all over Trouble though.
I still have no idea why Gloriana keeps misfiring. I've felt most, if not all of their songs felt like hits.

Lack of sales. No ones interested in the group unfortunately. I think they're problem is their material is people hear it and while they might not hate it. They don't have any desire to buy the so which leads to poor digital sales. They need a song that really grabs people and fans have desire. While I loved Trouble many critics found it to be like a 6/10 or like a B- I overall. Good but not enough desire.

www.cmt.com/videos/gloriana/1205353/trouble.jhtmlThe official music video that couldn't come by in time to save the song. Decent video I guess. Gloriana should've released it last monrh and maybe then the spark in the song would've been ignited. Oh well.

I love Gloriana, but the lack of sales and a relatively bleak future unless they can find something to stick with country radio, it makes me wonder if it is time if they go separate ways, and Rachel goes out on her own. Rachel is a STAR in the making.

Rachel is a STAR in the making. I'd think it would be for the best. I honestly believe the 2 brothers who don't even come close to Rachel vocally are holding her back. She would to me make a great solo vocalist for country music.

Rachel has the vocals to make it on her own, no doubt, but the Gossin brothers write much, if not all of their material and even though Rachel helps write some tracks, the three together make the sound you know as Gloriana. Perhaps they would continue writing together if and when Rachel went out on her own but that's something too far in the future to even speculate on yet. Country radio has shown an inability to break in newer female artists, so for now I think it's best they stay together.

Country radio has shown an inability to break in newer female artists, so for now I think it's best they stay together. See I find Gloriana music to be great vocally (mainly Rachel) the production is also usually top-notch. But writing is hands down there weak point. That's what I think made people not interested in Trouble was it wasn't well written at all. That's my problem with them is the writing lacks punch. Hence why Rachel should abandon them. See I think if she did went out on her own get some new songwriters keep the producers and I think people could take notice. Well with the album coming out tomorrow we will see how well Gloriana sells with it. I'm not confident. But who knows Gloriana could have a hit. Please somehow with this new album release a song that gets an iHeartRadio deal. (I know it's a pipe dream.)

Great video. Really simplistic, but I loved the dim lighting and the effects from the shattered light bulbs were pretty cool. It fit the song quite well. My only complaint is that they should have released it earlier. I doubt it would've helped all that much, but it should've came out before the song was done at radio. At least it's out during album release week though so maybe it'll do some good.

Officially went recurrent as expected. Now Gloriana your Album is coming out in less than an hour. Um how do I put this. Announce a new song Tommorow you'll get a little hype and maybe some momentum going.

Sorry for bringing this thread back up. Have they announced a new song yet? No. Though the song they seem to be showcasing the most is "Wanna Get To Know You". It was the album track they performed at the Opry, which they recently played on the album's release date.

The general public may have no idea who Gloriana is. Hearing a female, they probably think that is the gal's name. Yep, one of my local personalities said something like "and coming up: some Gloriana...we'll get her new one on."

Sorry for bumping this thread up again.
What is it with these guys I still have no follow up the album opened up so terribly. This song is long gone from any spins or really anything. These guys like seriously announce a new song and grab onto what little momentum they have. I don't see any future releases doing any better heck I don't even think they'll reach the Top 40 and I wont be surprised if by early next year if they are dropped from their label (clear front runners)
