Keyshia girl I love you but those sales are tragic. Isn't that the curse of most R&B girls who have limited airplay though? (See J-Hud.)

Hozier's sales though. :o :o :o Selling more than Vance Joy & Tove Lo combined! I imagine Milky Chance will have a great debut looking at how their instant grat tracks are doing on iTunes.

HITS said 450k for Aldean.

HITS said 450k for Aldean. Billboard said 350k. Hits has been on a really obnoxious "Billboard sucks" kick recently (that Lorde thing the other day?). Wonder if they'll apologize.

HITS said 450k for Aldean. Billboard said 350k. So, is the first post wrong? You have it at around 300k from Hits.

How much did Fifth Harmony sell in their debut week? Are A&S at least close?

How much did Fifth Harmony sell in their debut week? Are A&S at least close? I believe 5H did roughly the same number (like 28K?). But that was for an EP. I'd be surprised if the LP doesn't top this. In a real shocker, the best-selling US X Factor alum to date is Emblem3. Album sold like 45K.

Welp, Jason's projection took one hell of a tumble from those 450k calls. With is recent egotistical comments on how angry he is for being snubbed from the CMA Awards nominations this year, I can't say I'm upset to see the lower call.

www.billboard.com/articles/columns/chart-beat/6274342/jason-aldean-no-1-billboard-200-chartJason Aldean Heading for No. 1 on Billboard 200 ChartBy Keith Caulfield | October 08, 2014 8:30 PM EDT Jason Aldean is set to secure his second No. 1 album on the Billboard 200 chart, as his new release, Old Boots, New Dirt, seems destined for the top slot. Industry sources forecast the album -- which was released on Oct. 7 through Broken Bow Records -- to sell around 280,000 to 300,000 copies in the week ending Oct. 12. The new Billboard 200 top 10 will be revealed Oct. 15. If Aldean sells that many copies, it will earn him the second-largest sales week of 2014, behind the arrival of Coldplay's Ghost Stories, which barged in at No. 1 with 383,000 sold in the week ending May 25 (according to Nielsen SoundScan). Old Boots, New Dirt follows Aldean's chart-topping set Night Train, which rolled in at No. 1 back in 2012, selling 409,000 in its first week. Old Boots, New Dirt will easily nab Aldean not only his second leader, but also his fifth top 10 set. Other albums on course for high debuts on the chart include Hozier's self-titled album (50,000), Weezer's Everything Will Be Alright In the End (30,000), Alex & Sierra's It's About Us (25,000 to 30,000) and Stevie Nicks' 24 Karat Gold: Songs From the Vault (25,000).

YOUR TOP 15: Jason Aldean will debut at #1 with only the sixth album this year to sell over 200k in a single week, and will in all probability become the third-highest-debuting set of 2014. Three of those 200k+ albums are from Country Acts, the other two being Eric Church (288k) and Brantley Gilbert (211k). Another Country act will likely join this group next week, as Republic Nashville’s Florida Georgia Line is expected to sell well north of 200k.1. Jason Aldean (Broken Bow) 270-290k 2. Barbra Streisand (Columbia) 55-60k 3. Hozier (Columbia) 52-57k 4. Tony Bennett & Lady Gaga (Columbia/Interscope) 40-45k 5. Blake Shelton (Warner Bros. Nashville) 37-42k 6. Weezer (Republic) 30-35k 7. Alex & Sierra (Columbia) 27-30k 8. Stevie Nicks (Reprise) 25-28k 9. Lady Antebellum (Capitol Nashville) 24-27k 10. Maroon 5 (222/Interscope) 22-25k 11. Keyshia Cole (Geffen) 21-24k 12. Kenny Chesney (Blue Chair/Columbia) 20-23k 13. Jackson Browne (Inside) 18-21k 14. Sam Smith (Capitol) 18-21k 15. The Piano Guys (Sony Masterworks) 18-21k In other music news, we note that the Beach Boys classic “God Only Knows” from the Capitol comp The Very Best of the Beach Boys: Sounds of Summer (and redone in grand style by an all-star cast for the BBC Music video we told you about on Tuesday), has shot to #2 on the iTunes Rock chart; it trails only the new jam by Columbia’s AC/DC, “Play Ball.” (10/9p)

Solid sales for Hozier. I wonder how much of an affect his SNL performances will have on his sales.
