As far as I know Sum 41 never covered Dexter Feebish - "Leaving Town"? Much less released a more successful version of the song? The riff in Sum 41's "Pieces" is eerily similar to "Leaving Town". I had no idea what you were talking about, but now that you mention that I can hear it.

Now I get it. Could be the reason I clicked with Sum 41's "Pieces" so much quicker than their other songs.

Another new song from the upcoming album titled "Never Have To Say Goodbye." Deep lyrically. I like it better than "Face Everything and Rise."

I still remember "Last Resort" and I'd go far to say that was the best music video of 2000. Its a shame PR had to change their sound.

I like that their sound has evolved over time. I still love "Infest" and "Getting Away With Murder" but I also dug "The Connection" and don't mind them incorporating more electronic elements into their music, I think it adds depth.

ARTV Reviews on YouTube just did a review of F.E.A.R. and the first two minutes were hilarious! (Just a joke)
In other news, this song should hit top 5 on Active soon with Royal Blood, Foo Fighters and Five Finger Death Punch beginning their descents.

This one's struggling a bit. It also grew on me slightly. Still don't love it, but it isn't awful.

This song is just so dated, it sounds like it's 10 years old. But more like a song that has been around for 10 years and needs to go away rather than a welcome retro addition to rock radio.

I think this is the freshest sounding they've been in a while, except maybe the cliche lyrics. This beats all the singles off their last album except "Leader of the Broken Hearts", anything from Time for Annihilation, and pretty much everything off Metamorphosis (except maybe "Lifeline").

It's about time but this might surprisingly miss #1. Haven't heard their new album yet, any good?

I actually kinda like this. Almost everything after Getting Away With Murder has been uninteresting/bad, but The Connection was kinda good. This is the only one from their new album that I liked based off of the previews of the ones I looked at. I just feel like they don't settle on a sound and kinda hop all over the place.

So another pretty good active nr. 1 that is totally ignored by every other chart.
