It was included in the daily Aircheck email this afternoon. I agree that it's a perfect price. I didn't buy the album (first Aldean album I don't own), but a free album? I suppose I'll get it now.

Have you tried signing out of your Google account and then signing back in? That's how I got it to work. Also, it only seems to work if you have a Google (gmail) account. I was signed in through my school email (a .edu account that's managed by Google) and I get the error message when I click the "free" download button as well, but when I signed in with my regular gmail account it downloaded right away.

I just went to "genres" clicked on "country" and it was the first thing I saw. Anyway, I find it weird that the guy who pulled from Spotify has "Just Gettin Started" for free one week and then his whole album free the next week... Edit: Should have read the other posts first sorry it didn't work for you. I agree that for free it's worth it. At least it has "Tryin To Love Me", "Too Fast", "Don't Change Gone", and "Two Night Town".

Sweet! This is also the first Aldean album I don't own because of how unimpressed I've been with the first two singles, but Aldean usually has some good material on his album (and his lead singles always suck, so...)
But thanks for the Heads up on the free music!

I have to admit, I wasn't expecting so many people on here to dislike this song so much. I really love this one. I think the whole album is great, but this one specifically is one of my favorites. I guess the melody just really works for me. It does everything but bore me lol. I've consistently liked the majority of Jason's music since his debut album.

I agree that I like the album a lot (not particularly this song and I think there were plenty better single choices), but I do feel this album was a letdown from Night Train which I loved and would have liked to have had a bit more diversity on a 15 song album (18 if you include the exceptional Target bonus tracks). So, for me, I look at this song as one of Jason's worst, which isn't to say it's bad because I like most anything he does, just that I expect better quality from him.

Official Music Video:
He's done quite a few of these now. I would have put money down that this song would be a live video. I thought he had already put a live one out for this song, but I must have been confusing it with another live music video that's he's done with another one of his singles.

This song came on the radio when I was driving across the street from the gas station to the dollar store with my friend in the car and I didn't change it because it was literally across the street, lol, but as we were getting out of the car she goes "that wasn't a bad country song" (she doesn't like country music). I just kind of let her comment linger in the air and I didn't respond to it, lol. I mean, there's definitely far worse out there than this, but I didn't feel like saying anything to the contrary.

The same thing sorta happened to me, only my friend and I weren't driving and the song was "Ready Set Roll"

^Oh, well your friend was just wrong. Ready Set Roll was awful, lol. I kid, but it was terrible.
Anyway I like this song well enough, but I'm ready for the next single. And I want that single to be "Tryin' to Love Me".

^ If I remember correctly, the CD sticker said "featuring: Tonight Looks Good On You" so that will definently be a single and all signs point to Sweet Little Somethin' being released as well somewhere down the road. I could see the album possibly going 6 singles deep so hopefully something like Two Night Town or Too Fast gets released and not Show You Off or Laid Back

I'm already starting to get pissed off because I can tell so many good songs are going to be left as album cuts, so they can release some more instant radio fluff. This is one of Jason's worst single releases in my opinion, not because the song is bad, but just because of how great the other songs were passed up are.

Goodness, Tonight Looks Good on You is THE worst song on this mediocre album, which is an impressive feat considering how bad the first single was.
He's 3 for 3 so far in picking out the worst possible songs as singles. Unfortunately, the days of Jason being my favorite appear to be over.

Wow, I'm surprised at all the hate for "Tonight Looks Good On You". I only just got the album (thanks to the free Google Play offer) and I've only listened through it 3 times or so, but I think "Tonight Looks Good On You" is one of the few highlights. It's got solid lyrics and a really good hook, not to mention a really cool groove. Along with "Tryin' To Love Me", "Too Fast", and "Two Night Town", "Tonight Looks Good On You" is a favorite of mine. "Tonight Looks Good On You" has NOT been confirmed as the next single though. I expect "Sweet Little Somethin'" or maybe "Laid Back" to be the next single, for the spring and summer months.

I actually think Tonight Looks Good On You is a good song, as the melody is as catchy as can be. But thematically it is virtually the exact same as Just Gettin' Started, and not much different than Burnin' It Down. I want him to release some quality songs (lyrically high quality) so Pulse members on here will actually remember just how great Jason can be. But I do agree with you, if I had to bet, I'd bet on Sweet Little Nothin' being the 3rd single. Radio was already chomping at the bit to play it when the album came out, and it sounds like a giant hit, like a more up to date, 2015 version of She's Country. I don't see any chance of them releasing Laid Back, although I wouldn't have expected 1994 to be a single either

This album has really not held up well for me. I liked it well enough when I first got it, but I really haven't listened to it much lately, outside of a couple of tracks. That being said, I still think that "Two Night Town" is fantastic, and I'll be disappointed if that doesn't see a release to radio.

For the most part I've really enjoyed the album, but I find TLGOY to be only mildly pleasant at best, and SLS/Laid Back to be downright awful. So I hope none of them are singles.

For right now it definently seems that TLGOY will be a single at some point. As for the other two? Maybe. It all depends on whether Jason and his team think that these are the types of songs everyone still wants to hear. I'd like them to come to their senses and release one of the tracks that seem to not only be different from the album, but also better recieved. I fear that Jason following JGS with SLS and TLGOY will hurt him overall perhaps leading to one of the songs pulling a "1994".

I'm in the minority (like usual) but I love SLS. It's one of my favorites on the album. That being said, I still don't think this album does him much justice...it's not my favorite from him and I'm a really big fan. I also don't see it doing well on radio and I agree with what y'all have to say. Maybe he will release TLGOY next. I think that would be a good one as well!

Man... it's a good song, and will admit that I really do like it. It has a nice midtempo feel to it that I love, and the chorus is insanely catchy. But I can't help but feel Sweet Little Somethin' would be a better choice for the summertime (if they insist on an upbeat fun song). I too was hoping for any of the good strong ballads on this album, but sadly I knew we would not see one get released for the summertime. I already have my hopes set high for single #4 already lol In all seriousness, if this song could hurry up and peak already, I think they could realistically get 6 singles out of this album (they easily could have the last era). I do think that TLGOY will be a big hit though, and I can't grill them too hard for releasing the easy no-brainer hit (but I can grill them for choosing this as the second single).

I heard Two Night Town on a Thanksgiving radio special Aldean was doing a while back and loved it.
This song is just "there" for me. It just sounds like a rehashed "My Kinda Party" with only a couple decent lyrics (the red light/blue light line is clever).

Different strokes for different folks I guess. I don't find anything clever about this song's lyrics including that red light/blue light line.

This one seems to be far enough ahead of anything behind it, with not enough really in front of it, that if it keeps chugging at its current pace (slow) it could probably still get to the top.
Although I can't help but wonder if the label is now a little worried about this one, as I'm really not sure it can get any higher than 7 on the mongrel chart and it could miss the top all together, but it would need to start falling for that to happen. It's also so far peaked lower than "1994" on the Hot 100, but of course I expect that to change.

It's also so far peaked lower than "1994" on the Hot 100, but of course I expect that to change. I think the main reason that this one has slowed down a bit is because the label is focusing on the final push for Randy Houser's "Like A Cowboy". This has made Jason a bit vulnerable, though, as now Brett Eldredge has surged ahead. I agree, though--there's a big enough gap back to Chris Young, Darius Rucker, and Cole Swindell that Jason's probably not in trouble here, as long as this one can keep posting gains itself. I'm starting to think that Randy Houser might be able to sneak in at #1 on Mediabase this Sunday, but I don't think he'll get there on Billboard. That would leave 2 weeks at #1 on Billboard for Blake (with "Lonely Tonight" also topping the Mediabase chart on Sunday March 8, if it finishes #2 to Randy this Sunday), and then it'll probably be Brett or Jason topping the Billboard chart on Monday the 16th. It definitely looks like we've got a pretty good label battle going here between Warner Bros. (Blake and Brett) and BBR (Randy and Jason), and it looks like that battle could go on for the next 2-3 weeks yet. As for "1994", it actually sold pretty well considering where it peaked in airplay (it's Gold-certified). "Just Gettin' Started" has seen average sales at best, and it has a decent amount of work to do yet in order to get to 500,000 (its total sales are around 325,000 right now).

The Highway started playing "Tonight Looks Good On You" so it looks to be heading for terrestrial radio about one month from now with an add date in early to mid April by my best guess.
Personally, the song puts me to sleep. The song itself is okay (considering the past two singles), but Jason's vocal performance is not good. Something about his material lately - its like he's less enthusiastic about singing. It's not quite as uninteresting as the way he sang on "The Only Way I Know" but I'm still not convinced what he's singing about when he's singing "Tonight Looks Good On You".
I remember him being interviewed when the album came out and he wanted people to either love his music or hate it, basically nowhere in the middle. Well that makes two straight singles now, and three out of four, where I put myself in the "neutral" category ("When She Says Baby", "Just Gettin' Started", "Tonight Looks Good On You"). The other one was a song I hated ("Burnin' It Down"). He has a song every once in a while I really enjoy like "The Truth", "Fly Over States", "Night Train", but most of the time he just bores me.
