I noticed it on mediabase a couple of days ago, It will be interesting
I wonder if this will be number one on country digital songs, I think it's going to be real close, but I'm giving it to little big town over Luke Bryan,

Another 85k sales and # 1 on digital and HCS chart. Looks like Luke's new single will probably take the # 1 on the digital chart next week and the HCS chart should be really close. If Girl Crush keeps that #1 it may due to the few million in AI from Adult Pop. What's really strange to me ( imo of course) you have the most unique single release of LBT's career vs. the most generic release in Luke's.

Ii am thinking girl crush will prevail. Let's not forget it had sales on Monday which were probably pretty big and I think Luke Bryan's song will start falling on iTunes today
Not sure really but it will definitely be close as long as girl crush is back on top by Saturday morning
Well see

Could this song be peaking on country radio. The spins are decreasing and audience has been minus or very small.
Country radio is so bad it wouldn't surprise me. It does seem to be growing on hot ax though

^Its fine there's a lot of songs that are decreasing a little cause Luke Bryan's Kick The Dust Up is hogging all the Airplay. I think this'll be fine Girl Crush has plenty of life still in it. Tonight's Billboard look for it to be at #13. It also looks like Little Big Town should pass Canaan soon so I wouldn't worry yet.

Now that it's closer to the cluster in the Top 10, I think it'll end up at least there but probably is on its way to Top 5/#1 in due time.

Little Big Town move past Sam Hunt to gain the Country Streaming Songs crown! Congrats for achieving this feat; and especially under the current climate! However, the #1 streamed country song's volume is so small to not even dent the National Top 50! Comparison: Taylor Swift crashes in nationally at #3 with 18.1M U.S. streams! That's 18,000,000 streams in a week!

Wow, I was way wrong, Luke Bryan killed this in sales but girl crush still had a great week with 97,000 last week. It will take back its crown of number one digital song next week and go platinum before it's even peaked on radio,
I liked their performance last night much better then their bbma performance. Let's face it, no one can sing that verse like Karen Fairchild, not even faith hill.
Let's go girl crush, keep getting bigger.

Surprised no one mentioned this yet, but this finally reached top 10 on Billboard's country airplay chart. NEVER expected this to go this high tbh.

More evidence to the theory that radio only allows 2 female-led songs in the top 10 at once: "Girl Crush" was moving along nicely and about to enter the top 10 on Mediabase, but suddenly it's slowed down big time this week. A Thousand Horses and Billy Currington are bleeding spins, but all the top 10 conversions appear to be going to Jason Aldean, Tim McGraw, and Canaan Smith (particularly Jason) instead of to "Girl Crush", which continues to dominate the sales chart. Bullseye Callout still isn't that great for "Girl Crush", but it's #1 on Rate The Music, for whatever that's worth. LBT was #10 on Monday's Billboard chart, but I'm thinking they'll get pushed back to #12 this week (Jason should move ahead, and Canaan seems likely to re-pass them as well). I've seen this several times in the past, where a female-led song has been "held" just outside the top 10 until one or both of the 2 female songs currently in the top 10 starts to drop. So in this case, of course we have Carrie and Kelsea still seeing big time conversions within the top 5, and neither is likely to peak for a few weeks yet. Just watch...LBT will linger on the cusp of the top 10 for the next couple of weeks until either Carrie or Kelsea starts down, and then we'll magically see "Girl Crush" take off again. Here's me rolling my eyes at country radio

It seems like this song has been charting for eons already, I'm personally ready for it to be done so we can have the next LBT single already, as there's lots of other good songs on the album. I still want to see this reach #1 because it's a great song and is definitely deserving, but I just wish radio would hurry up already.

I'm not tired of this one, even though I do agree with you that it feels like it's been out a while. I still think this one is heading to #1, but it'll probably take another 8-10 weeks to get there, which means it won't peak until late July/early August. There's no stopping it on the sales charts, though, so I'm sure LBT and Capitol are perfectly fine with this one taking a bit of a slower and steady approach (that allows for maximum sales), rather than screaming up the chart a la "Sangria" and "Homegrown", 2 singles which would have likely gone Platinum if they hadn't flown up the airplay charts so quickly. "Girl Crush" is starting to get airplay on other formats as well, but even if it wasn't, I'd still say it'll reach 2x Platinum with ease.

Little Big Town was the surprise guest performer at Taylor Swift's concert in Pittsburgh last night. They joined Taylor on stage and performed "Pontoon".
Too bad it wasn't "Girl Crush". I absolutely LOVE "Pontoon" but it would have been awesome for Taylor to do a really cool/memorable performance of "Girl Crush" with LBT, and bring even more attention to the song.
"Girl Crush" is still dominating at iTunes; it's back up to #12 all-genre as of this morning.

Is it still the number #1 on iTunes? Yes, it's easily the #1 song on the iTunes country chart.

It's only a few seconds long, but it's pretty cool.

But meanwhile on HAC , while it looked like they had put it on cruise for a couple weeks as it moved thru the teens on country radio with bullets down to +20 and losing audience. Now that it's slowed on country the gas has been stepped on again at HAC. Back up to bullets near 150 gaining audience and moved up 5-6 places in the last week. Currently at 26

Here's me rolling my eyes at country radio I thought LBT's slowing down outside the top 10 had to do with an attempt by UMG to push "Love You Like That" ahead. On the "All Stations" Mediabase chart, LBT is still ahead of Jason Aldean (currently #8, meaning there are three female voices in the top 8) and Canaan Smith's behind both LBT and Jason, implying that the stations being worked by the labels were asked to play Canaan over LBT, but naturally LBT would have gone up ahead. Jason's jumping ahead is inevitable as he's an A-list star, although I think that even he wouldn't have passed "Girl Crush" without attempts to hold LBT behind Canaan. I'm usually against this sort of jumping the gun in holding label mates back so far from #1, but Canaan's "Love You Like That" is a very special case of a song that's been out close to a year and really needs to get to #1 as quickly as possible, so I can see why Universal would think that every week counts and Canaan can't afford to be passed by a label mate. It also makes sense to let LBT coast through the top 10 and prolong their chart run as much as possible since "Girl Crush" is still selling so well.

Anyone know why this just shot up so much on iTunes? It's at 6 and I know they can't perform right now, Doesn't make sense unless they did something high profile

Did they perform? I thought they cancelled everything until a band member recovers from surgery.
And wow what a boost on iTunes from what has to be a very small audience show
