Second single from Sound Of A Woman. Coming soon to US pop radio, according to Republic Playbook.

Thumbs down. There's not much of a hook to this.
She needs to beef up her schtick with actual strong songs.

I was surprised 'Hideaway' got as big as it did. But I doubt she'll strike lightning in the U.S. twice. Radio here is as picky as ever.

Considering Hideaway's airplay never lived up to its buzz -- and this doesn't have anywhere near the buzz -- I don't see much happening.
She had a cool song, but they've just done nothing to cultivate a likable, superstar presence. Bland songs like this won't help.

I don't think this will work, it was top 5 on UK but it dropped like a stone (sometimes UK chart peaks are very misguiding). Anyway she can't be considered a one hit wonder either, because Hideway it wasn't a hit (a 51 peak on billboard it's simply too low for that)

No way this will be a bigger hit than "Hideaway" here when it wasn't anywhere else. This isn't nearly as good (but I like it a lot).
I think "Hideaway" was her best shot at breaking the US with this album anyway.

I really like this... of course I love anything that sounds like the late 1980s/early 1990s! I think Hideaway would be considered a hit even though only #51 on the Hot 100. It reached the Top 20 on Top 40 radio, has had close to 165 million plays on YouTube alone (most apparently were not counted towards Hot 100 because not using Vevo) and it was certified Gold by the RIAA for 500K sales.
This one hit #4 in the UK and is currently moving up the charts in Canada. Hopefully it will get some traction here in the states - there is nothing like it on the radio and it's not as gimmicky as Hideaway was... Sound of a Woman is a really strong debut album IMO.

Can you clarify that point? Warner Music Group acts don't use Vevo whatsoever, and their videos count. I do remember the official video was (originally) posted on some weird channel, but I'm still not sure why that wouldn't count towards streams if parody videos of Wrecking Ball and Shake it Off count...

I really enjoy this but I don't see it doing anything. I'd love to be proven wrong though.

Obviously I love this song. But I don't think it's great for pop radio.
And also late af.

I love this one, but I would prefer "No Enemiesz" as the next single.
