Right? Bang Bang, Pretty Girls, and then this would be like....unprecedented. There's no way a song could live up to the hype, but damn would it be an event.

Now I can't understand NOTHING. The only thing I know is if that colaboration comes true we'll see a lot of records broken and me died.

Release it before Pride fests start happening, and our streets will be overwhelmed by the glitter of it all.

Is Gaga pregnant?
She looked messy at the MET Gala. LOL @ the picture with Madonna and Kris Jenner.

I'm loving her darker hair. I would die if she did a collabo with Madonna. I still have hope that it will happen one day. Even if it's a remix, just give us something!

Yo why is "The Edge of Glory" such an EPIC ass track?! Should have been the second single from Born This Way.

TEOG would have been such an easy #1 for her coming 2nd. I love Judas to death, but releasing that as BTW's second single still remains the stupidest move of her career to date. Her success downward trend all traces back to that.

I think a lot of people didn't like the direction "Born This Way" (the album) took as a whole, so I don't think it was necessarily that. Some single would have been traced back to that. Had EOG been released as single #2 and Y&I #3, I don't think any other song would have worked as a 4th single (with MTN flopping), so I think that song would have gotten "the blame". Do I think Judas should have been released? No. Do I love the song? Hell yeah

If we're talking where the singles went wrong with BTW, it was releasing Judas instead of SCHEIBE

Lol, let's not pretend Sheibe would've worked anyplace outside of the gay community. I agree that there were only ever 3 hits off BTW (title track, TEOG, and Y&I). Had those been the first three, I think all would've been huge, and then maybe Hair could have piggy backed off of their success and been a top ten 4th single. Maybe. But otherwise the mainstream audiences weren't gonna be having the rest of the album. Artpop was the same way. Applause, DWUW, and Gypsy were the only 3 that had any real hit potential. Even still, both eras could have been played much smarter to take full advantage of the 3 hit potential songs, since a 3 hit era isn't bad at all. BTW could've had 2 #1's and a top 5, and Artpop could have had 3 top 5's if they had played it right.

Trash "Judas" all you want but it was by FAR her best video since "Bad Romance". I'm so glad it was released.

DWUW got released (and video aside, got a fuck of a lot of promo) and that didn't turn out like you said it should have. Artpop didn't have any hits besides Applause and I don't think there was anything that could have been done to avoid it.

Venus was a potential hit too but would only work if it was released as the 1st single. I feel the same way about Applause too as I don't think it would connect or be given a chance if it wasn't for the excitement over her first single release in 2 years.

Artpop didn't have any hits besides Applause and I don't think there was anything that could have been done to avoid it. DWUW was a top 15 on the H100 and top 10 on CHR with some of the most wrecked promo and single rollout imaginable. It would have easily been a top 5 with decent promo. The whole release was just a mess, highlighted by the fact that Gaga herself was never on board with it as a single. Just like the TEOG rollout was a mess, with the whole rush release/half assed video treatment. Not only would she have avoided the backlash from Judas if TEOG was released instead, the song could have been one of her huge smashes. It was already pretty big as it was, and that was under not the best circumstances. So yeah, Gypsy is the only song I mentioned that didn't see release, but the two eras were still very botched in the execution. BTW, Judas is probably the best song off of BTW. So even though I don't think it should have ever been released, it is all kinds of legendary. Still f**ked her career though in terms of when the casual audience started turning on her. BTW had already irritated some with the supposed Express Youself similarities and the in your face lyrics, but Judas following that was the straw that broke the camel's back for so much of her casual fans. And most of those fans haven't returned to this day.

So yeah, Gypsy is the only song I mentioned that didn't see release, but the two eras were still very botched in the execution. I am failing to see how DWUW had wrecked promo. She 1. featured it prominently in a commercial, 2. Performed it at the American Music Awards, 3. Performed it while hosting Saturday Night Live, and 4. Had a high profile duet-partner change performance on the Voice with Christina Aguilera, that was probably more talked about than the actual winner of the Voice announced that night, and 5. Performed it ahead of Artpop's release on the UK X-Factor. The bitch pushed the single hard, whether she wanted to or not. It wound up underperforming - plain and simple. I can't tell you exactly why, but I can tell you it had nothing to do with "wrecked promo and single rollout." It was actually probably one of the more high-profile and hyped releases of all of fall 2013.

I think the confidence in the project was what did in DWYW. It did well and had lots of promo but there was a lot of mess that got in the way so public reception of it was probably skewed because of that.

The long-rumored Lady Gaga and Kendrick Lamar collaboration has finally arrived! "PARTYNAUSEOUS" was written by Gaga and Kendrick back in 2012 and was scheduled to be included in the rapper's debut album, but was later scrapped due to creative differences between the artists' teams. "I apologize to the fans that this situation is confusing," Gaga said. "When I collaborate with an artist I work solely with them, not with their camps or management. It's purely organic and creative. I love Kendrick dearly as a friend, but was not willing to compromise musically to the changes his team was making to my music. He's a good kid, its just sometimes a mad city." gagadaily.com/story/lady-gaga-kendrick-lamar-partynauseous/
