Ahhhh omg I love that she randomly dropped the video on Snapchat. What a cool idea. I had people on my Facebook who couldn't figure it out or didn't know what Snapchat was and they were within her key target: gay males over 33ish. I commend the idea for what it is but it seems to emphasize that Madonna is either out of touch with her own fanbase or is simply more interested in reaching younger ones, which sucks because it is her best video since... hmmm, maybe Hung Up, maybe even What It Feels Like For A Girl (which kind of matches that it's her best single since Hung Up too).

The one thing she managed to release on her own terms, and many people can't even watch it

I could understand the complaints about Snapchat if this was the only way she was making her video available. The leveraging of Snapchat was mutually beneficial to both Madonna and Snapchat, as it got them both a ton of press.
It will be out on Vevo and other outlets later today.

Shoot. I don't even know where to find it and I use SnapChat everyday! You go to that new screen with all the buttons like for the different channels and stuff, and you go to the black Snapchat ghost icon in the center.

I thought it was a great idea. I only heard about it because I saw something posted about it on FB so it's not like I found it on my own, but it's not hard to figure out if you read one of the news stories that said where to find it. Plus, the video was going to be put on other formats after 24 hours so it's a pretty insignificant and temporary inconvenience for the people who don't have Snapchat or w/e.

The only people I knew to use "Snap Chat" were Pre Teens, Teens and some that were in their very early Twenties. Perhaps "Snap Chat" is trying to reach a new demographic? I'm just assuming but I can't imagine the teen crowd getting excited about the new Madonna video.

Plus, the video was going to be put on other formats after 24 hours so it's a pretty insignificant and temporary inconvenience for the people who don't have Snapchat or w/e. Strictly speaking from a marketing point of view, an inconvenience could be a big deal. People *could* see it as a case of "oh. She's favouring younger fans over her longtime older fans," and feel turned off by having to either downloading and learning how to use the app (I have the app and I couldn't find the video) or wait the 24 hours. Neither is a big deal in the grand scheme of things but if you've considered yourself a loyal fan, it feels like a bit of a snub. And I would venture a guess that a lot of people felt snubbed because her solid fanbase are less likely to want to deal with these things. It's not much different than when an artist with a core fanbase in one genre of music (R&B, country or rock) decides to release the one pure pop song on the album as their hyped-up first single in an attempt to win new audiences. It's not so much the inconvenience but the intent behind it. People don't like it when they feel they are placed on the back burner.

I didn't remotely feel it as snub and I am 45 years old and a huge fan since I was 14. I think the way we consume and digest music today is constantly evolving. I have followed along from the days of 8 track, LP, cassette, CD, MP3, Streaming, etc. It is just a continued evolution and keeping up with the latest trends. There were always exclusives when it comes to the way music videos are released. Back in the day when MTV played videos exclusively, some videos would be premiered on MTV as an exclusive for 3 weeks before it was made available to other outlets. So the folks who did not have cable, and there were many, had to wait to see the video at a friends house or wait until Friday Night Videos could air it.

I must admit the video is very entertaining on my 60". It is meant to be seen on a big screen. I didn't enjoy seeing it for the first time on a mobile device. I should have waited for today instead of dealing with Snap chat. I generally dislike watching videos on my laptop/tablet/mobile. You just can't take the full glory all in.

Yall can hate on Snapchat but this is innovative and a win for both Madge and the underrated App.

LOVE THIS VIDEO! Elegant and classy. Sexy and Seductive. I love the play on the idea of love being a bullfight and having to defend yourself against the sharp horns and dancing to avoid them. I thought in its simplicity its very powerful

The video's alright. Nothing overly impressive, but pleasant enough.

Glad she decided to not go the major skin route. Video is serviceable. I'm assuming it will likely be 'replayed' live at the Grammys and that will work.

With Vevo and a Chromecast you can watch them on a big screen in 1080p HD. Much better than when M released her videos on DVD. It's why I like vevo so much. It makes watching videos in HD a pleasure.

^And for some who weren't crazy about the song, it's made them like it more. Oh, the contrasts. :)

Love the Nietzsche quote with his name misspelled at the end. Very 20 year-old on Twitter, which seems to be what she's going for lately. Well done.

^Oh, there's no doubt. Given how M posts on social media, it's no surprise that that man's last name is missing an "s." In any event, she's an Instagram girl, not a Twitter one, so let's keep it real, now. In any event, excited for the performance tomorrow night. As it's Madonna, it undoubtedly will be a highlight- if not THE- of the show.

It will be interesting to see how the Grammy performance affects iTunes sales. Right now it isn't top 10 anywhere in the world. Italy is madonna's strongest market and LFL is #25 there: kworb.net/itunes/artist/madonna.htmlLiving For Love#13 Costa Rica #25 Italy #31 Guatemala #38 Spain #41 Czech Republic #42 Argentina #42 Israel #53 Lithuania #58 Finland #69 Russia #73 Greece #77 Taiwan #80 Bulgaria #81 Hong Kong #83 Colombia #84 Portugal #89 Luxembourg #90 Poland #91 Brazil #95 Germany #103 Turkey #109 Netherlands #112 Mexico #115 Belgium #118 Botswana #118 Switzerland #129 Malta #130 France #134 Thailand #136 Honduras #137 Malaysia #150 Sweden #158 Singapore #187 Slovakia #196 Ukraine #199 Canada

Madoona,I believe with her newest video maintains her Video Vanguard Title!
Excellent job. It would have been to literal to have a backing choir featured in the clip.
I loved she went with an avant garde presentation.
I wonder if she tries to re-creat this at the Grammys?
If she does and does it successfully it could be the showstopper of the night!
This years Grammys is one of the most promoted in years, she must bring it!!
And,we know she can!! :)

If she gives us an AMAZING, AMAZING Grammy performance then I could perhaps see this turning into a moderate hit. As it stands, it will be her worst-performing lead single ever.
I wonder how it would have done if it had been released as a brand new track last week and none of the leak thing had ever happened.

If it were fresh and new, released for the first time last week, it likely would be performing better than it's been.
parker- given that the dancers will be in minotaur mode, I imagine we will be seeing much from the video come to life on the Grammy stage.
