Again another artist I was introduced to via CMT back in the day. My family and I took a trip to Idaho and Yellowstone in 1993 and I remember having to stop at a truckstop in Wyoming just to pick up his cassette tape so I could listen to "Holdin' Heaven" over and over again. Anyways great artist with some great 90's material.
Favorites: 1. Heaven In My Woman's Eyes 2. Holdin' Heaven 3. Love Lessons 4. Walking To Jerusalem 5. That's the Thing About A Memory 6. Put Your Hand In Mine 7. Drinkin' Bone 8. Someone To Give My Love To 9. Don't Take Her She's All I Got 10. Just Let Me Be In Love
Favorite Album Tracks: Back In The Swing of Things An Out of Control Raging Fire Hat Trick Edge of A Memory No Ordinary Man You Lied To Me Wildfire (love this remake and I still put this on to listen to today) How Much Does the World Weigh Making Memories of Us (same song that Keith Urban did) That's What Keeps Her Getting By (for anyone who grew up with a single mom this is a great song for you)
Least Favorites: 1. When Mama Ain't Happy 2. Watermelon Crawl (overplayed and he has better material) 3. The Keeper of the Stars (I appreciate the sentimental value, but I've never come around to liking this song in general) 4. Revenge of a Middle-Aged Woman 5. Ten Rounds with Jose Cuervo (overplayed and again not a go-to Tracy song for me)

Top
1. Ten Rounds With Jose Cuervo 2. The Keeper Of The Stars 3. Walking To Jerusalem 4. Watermelon Crawl 5. Holdin' Heaven 6. Drinkin' Bone 7. Don't Take Her She's All I Got 8. Put Your Hand In Mine 9. Don't Love Make A Diamond Shine 10. Just Let Me Be In Love
Bottom:
1. When Mama Ain't Happy 2. Revenge Of A Middle Aged Woman 3. I'm From The Country (only because I think of this as the first of many "I'm countrier than you" songs; I actually didn't mind it at the time)

I love Byrd's voice and am generally a fan of his music, but I haven't listened to him much in recent years, and I don't recognize/remember most of his singles. I might have to back and listen to a few of his albums as a refresher course. Here's my best attempt at a list as of now:
Top Singles 1. Cheapest Motel 2. Take Me with You When You Go 3. Keeper of the Stars 4. Big Love 5. Just Let Me Be in Love 6. Ten Rounds with Joe Cuervo (would be higher if not so overplayed) 7. Drinkin' Bone (same) 8. Watermelon Crawl (guilty pleasure)
Bottom The Truth About Men (this is one of the songs that's kinda funny the first couple of times you hear it, but then don't need to hear again anytime soon, if at all) Don't Take Her She's All I Got (perfectly fine, but Paycheck's version is better)

If this was a song Tracy released in his hay day, it would have been a top 5 smash.

It's been a while since I listened to it, but I seem to remember his Different Things album having several great cuts: the aforementioned "Cheapest Motel", the title track, "Before I Die", "A Cowboy and a Dancer", and probably a couple others I'm forgetting.
