Love seeing ATB's "Face To Face" as I also charted it and went number one on my chart. Cole Plante's "If I Fall" is another one I liked as well as Afrojack's "The Spark". Those are great remixes for One Republic and Christina Perri. Can't wait to see the rest.

The Spark I wish "The Spark" could have ended up higher. It ended 2013 at #84 because it came too late in that year. And for 2014 I guess it came too early. But oh well, that's how it goes. Love seeing ATB's "Face To Face" as I also charted it and went number one on my chart. Cole Plante's "If I Fall" is another one I liked as well as Afrojack's "The Spark". Sad that La La La, Goodness Gracious, and Surrender didn't make your top 100, but I'm happy to see Counting Stars, Human, and Dark Horse in there! :)

Also nice to see Maps, Stay the Night, and Somebody to You!!! :) Great list(s) so far!!! Thanks Surfy! If I remember correctly, "La La La" did a bit better in 2013. "Surrender" will probably place better in 2015 and "Goodness Gracious" did as good as it could tbh.
I'm just getting over "Can't Stop Drinking About You" but I wore it out for a while haha. Glad its growing on you. Thanks for your comments!

So happy to see Robin Schulz "Sun Goes Down", Bebe Rexha's "I Can't Stop Drinking About You", Tiesto & Icona Pop's "Let's Go", Zedd & Hayley Williams "Stay The Night" and Sia's "Silent Heart". I remember seeing the 7UP commercial for "Let's Go" by Tiesto and thought it was used cleverly.

Sad to see that "Dirty Love", the remix of "Goodness Gracious" and "La La La" didn't make the Top 100, although looks like the latter was on your last EOY chart, so I'm not complaining here too much. However, it's good to see the remixes of "Counting Stars", "Home", "Human", "Dark Horse" and "Youth", as well as "Do or Die", "Sun Goes Down", "Can't Stop Drinking About You", "Let's Go" and "Stay the Night" so far.

Ugh, I know re: "Dirty Love" - I was hoping it would get enough points in the last few weeks but it just missed out. Glad you like this and thanks for commenting! So many great songs Thanks flipmusic! Sad to see that "Dirty Love", the remix of "Goodness Gracious" and "La La La" didn't make the Top 100, although looks like the latter was on your last EOY chart, so I'm not complaining here too much. I know, I know its so hard! There were nearly 200 songs to tally. Its sad to see what you expect to make it that doesn't. Glad you like all of those though. Thanks for commenting Juan!
This countdown will continue this afternoon. Now that I'm back home, I finally had a chance to catch up so I will get it going later on today. Thanks guys!

I was a big fan of this one this year. I was disappointed that it didn't perform better on the charts. I got into the Chromeo song a little after it came out after it became a mainstay on my store's playlist. It's such a bop. I love the Lorde song. It's so strange but so awesome. OMG! I absolutely love this! I became addicted to it after it was played one to two times a day at the store. I have since checked out some of their other songs and their music is amazing. This one is so underrated. The whole album is excellent. I just got into this one recently through the Giorgio Moroder remix. He basically souped up the original and gave it a slight 80's Hi Nrg flavor. 8. Hozier - "Take Me To Church" Total Points: 1,281 Peak: 1 (2) Weeks on Chart: 24
“Take Me To Church” was instant for me. From Hozier’s vocals down to the smart lyrics, I just couldn’t get enough. I still listen to this song regularly. I love the metaphor and the haunting nature of the song is all too appropriate. I loved it even more upon watching the video as well. Ultimately, this spent 2 weeks at #1. Its no surprise this song is in the top 10. I love this one too! So addictive. This was one that I was sure would crossover big time but it didn't do much. It's one of their better recent singles. I really loved this one. It became more poignant for me after Frankie Knuckles passed away earlier this year as this was one of the final songs he remixed. I loved this one! I jumped on this one a little late. Due to a glitch in my tagging of it, it would have appeared on my year end chart, but I discovered it got omitted after I began making my countdown so it's not there. :(

🅳🅸🆂🅲🅾 Thanks so much for your comments! You’re sweet to go back. I too was sad to see “Human” underperform. Chromeo are great! I saw them live a few years back and never looked back. And honestly YFB is Lorde’s best release so far. Yes more love for Cut Copy! Another band that is absolutely fantastic live – especially on vocals. I looove their retro sound. Indeed, Broken Bells was a genius idea.
Thanks for the Giorgio Moroder mix of “Tongues” – good stuff! You know, I’ve been super surprised to see that Cascada hasn’t ever been able to crossover with more success. I loved the original “My Head is a Jungle” but when the MK remix hit I was in love in all over again. I was too late with MK’s remix of “Can’t Rely On You” but I looove that one too. MK has been bringing it.

In this section we've got several fun remixes making an appearance including the Cedric Gervais remix of "Young & Beautiful". This also marks Lana's first showing on the countdown. I found this song to be a great follow-up to the smash that was "Summertime Sadness". Also featured is the first of two for John Newman - the Steve Pitron and Max Sanna remix for "Love Me Again". Also here are Ralphi Rosario's remix of "Replay" and CCMC's remix of "Into the Blue" marking Queen Kylie's only appearance for 2014 year-end. Finally, we have a four-way tie in points between 64-61. Peak position was used as the tie-breaker so LuvBug's "Resonance" takes #61, having spent a week at #1 recently.
Songs #70-61 are below.
70. Chris Malinchak - "Stranger" (Ft. Mikky Ekko) Total Points: 1,021 Peak: 13 Weeks on Chart: 16
69. Kylie Minogue - "Into The Blue" (Country Club Martini Crew Radio Edit) Total Points: 1,022 Peak: 8 Weeks on Chart: 14
68. Lana Del Rey - "Young & Beautiful" (Cedric Gervais Remix Edit) Total Points: 1,025 Peak: 7 Weeks on Chart: 20
67. Galantis - "You" Total Points: 1,028 Peak: 22 Weeks on Chart: 19
66. John Newman - "Love Me Again" (Steve Pitron & Max Sanna Remix Edit) Total Points: 1,028 Peak: 6 Weeks on Chart: 20
65. Zendaya - "Replay" (Ralphi Rosario Remix Edit) Total Points: 1,030 Peak: 4 Weeks on Chart: 22
64. Cazzette - "Sleepless" (Radio Edit) Total Points: 1,031 Peak: 7 Weeks on Chart: 17
63. Oliver $ & Jimi Jules - "Pushing On" Total Points: 1,031 Peak: 6 Weeks on Chart: 14
62. Audien - "Circles" (Radio Edit) [Ft. Ruby Prophet] Total Points: 1,031 Peak: 5 Weeks on Chart: 19
61. LuvBug - "Resonance" (Radio Edit) [Ft. Talay Riley] Total Points: 1,031 Peak: 1 (1) Weeks on Chart: 15
FYI - the Top 60 probably won't kick off until this evening due to unfortunate work responsibilities.

As we near the upper half of the chart, the songs get bigger and bigger. We've got the first of three songs from Calvin Harris on the countdown. "Blame" is currently charting and hit number one a month ago. Lana Del Rey makes her highest appearance on the chart this year with Hook N Sling's remix of "Ultraviolence". Iggy Azalea's only showing on the countdown is the Dabin & Apashe remix of her hit "Fancy" with Charli XCX. This section also has David Guetta's only entry to the countdown with "Lovers on the Sun". And Storm Queen's "Look Right Through", which hit #1 early in the year also charts. This is the highest charting MK remix on the countdown. Plus fun remixes for "Move" and "Talk Dirty" are also in this section.
Numbers 60-51 are below which means the Top 50 is next!
60. Calvin Harris - "Blame" (Ft. John Newman) Total Points: 1,058 Peak: 1 (2) Weeks on Chart: 15
59. Bondax - "All I See" Total Points: 1,070 Peak: 6 Weeks on Chart: 17
58. Shift K3Y - "I Know" (Radio Edit) Total Points: 1,081 Peak: 5 Weeks on Chart: 18
57. Jason Derulo - "Talk Dirty" (Steve Smart & Westfunk Remix Edit) Total Points: 1,092 Peak: 16 Weeks on Chart: 18
56. Lana Del Rey - "Ultraviolence" (Hook N Sling Radio Mix) Total Points: 1,100 Peak: 12 Weeks on Chart: 19
55. Iggy Azalea - "Fancy" (Dabin & Apashe Remix Edit) [Ft. Charli XCX] Total Points: 1,114 Peak: 4 Weeks on Chart: 17
54. Syn Cole - "Miami 82" (Vocal Radio Edit) Total Points: 1,118 Peak: 22 Weeks on Chart: 16
53. David Guetta - "Lovers On The Sun" (Radio Edit) Total Points: 1,127 Peak: 3 Weeks on Chart: 18
52. Storm Queen - "Look Right Through" (MK Vocal Edit) Total Points: 1,146 Peak: 1 (1) Weeks on Chart: 21
51. Little Mix - "Move" (The Alias Radio Edit) Total Points: 1,147 Peak: 7 Weeks on Chart: 18

We've officially entered the Top 50 and this section definitely shows it with 4 songs that hit #1 in 2014. "Outlines" by Mike Mago & Dragonette reached number one in early November and it continues to chart currently. This section also includes the longest running song on the countdown. "Under Control" by Calvin Harris & Alesso spent 27 weeks on my dance chart. It spent four weeks at #1, though three of those were in December 2013. This is the second highest song on the year-end countdown for Calvin as well as for Alesso. "Boom Clap" was a top 5 song and is the highest entry on the year-end for Charli XCX. Alesso's "Heroes" has been a huge smash and also hit #1 in October & November. Its the highest charting song for Alesso but the first of two entries on the year-end for Tove Lo. Also in this section is the highest charter for Cash Cash in "Lightning" and the first of three from Avicii in "Lay Me Down" which spent a short week at number one. [***Note that "Wake Me Up" and "You Make Me" are ineligible for 2014 year-end. They charted at #2 and #62, respectively, on 2013's year-end.***] Also of note is that Porter Robinson's "Lionhearted" charts considerably higher on the Dance year-end than the Alternative chart, as expected.
Songs #50-41 are listed below.
50. Mike Mago & Dragonette - "Outlines" Total Points: 1,151 Peak: 1 (1) Weeks on Chart: 17
49. Calvin Harris & Alesso - "Under Control" Total Points: 1,171 Peak: 1 (4) Weeks on Chart: 27
48. Gorgon City - "Ready For Your Love" (Fix8 Remix) Total Points: 1,172 Peak: 3 Weeks on Chart: 17
47. John Martin - "Anywhere For You" Total Points: 1,173 Peak: 12 Weeks on Chart: 19
46. Charli XCX - "Boom Clap" (Cahill Radio Mix) Total Points: 1,173 Peak: 5 Weeks on Chart: 18
45. Alesso - "Heroes" (Ft. Tove Lo) Total Points: 1,174 Peak: 1 (3) Weeks on Chart: 16
44. Sander van Doorn - "Right Here Right Now" (Radio Edit) Total Points: 1,179 Peak: 8 Weeks on Chart: 18
43. Avicii - "Lay Me Down" Total Points: 1,180 Peak: 1 (1) Weeks on Chart: 18
42. Cash Cash - "Lightning" (Ft. John Rzeznik) Total Points: 1,182 Peak: 7 Weeks on Chart: 19
41. Porter Robinson - "Lionhearted" (Radio Edit) Total Points: 1,194 Peak: 9 Weeks on Chart: 18

The Chris Malinchak/Mikky Ekko song is so funky! I was disappointed that the Kylie song didn't do that well. I love the Lana song! So gorgeous. Cedric's remix is really good. I went on to love the Offer Nissim remix. He incorporated a choice sample from a 90s club hit. "Talk Dirty" is so sexy. Still gets me to dance like a ho in church whenever and wherever it plays! "Look Right Through" is a hot one. Love it still. I got into this one a bit late after liking it the first time I heard it but I forgot about it until I heard it at the store.
