All-Format Top 100 of 2015: Begins here!

My favorite time of year is here! Holidays and year-end countdowns! I'm excited to finish compiling my Top 100s. I do post my Dance chart on here regularly so the year-end is based on that, given total number of points for the year. My Dance chart closes 2014 with the 12/19 chart so the Top 100 will be posted following that.

I don't think I've ever posted my Alternative chart here.  I've done an ok job of updating it this year but not as consistently so I couldn't post it weekly. However, I've done enough where I can figure out year-end totals so I will also be posting my Top 100 Alt of 2014. Just like the Dance chart, its based on total number of points for the year. The final Alt chart for 2014 is this week's: 12/12. So, I will begin posting the Top 100 over the weekend or early next week.

The rest of my charts I haven't kept up too well so I'm not even going there.  Can't wait to wrap these up and see how things stack up!

So close for all of them. But I really liked a lot of stuff this year so it was a tough battle to get in the top.

#100-91 is a pretty mixed bag of stuff still. Most of these songs didn't chart for even 15 weeks, in some cases that's because they are still charting, so they bring up the rear.

Regarding your first installment, so great that "On Top of the World", "Lionhearted", "Beating Heart" (not one of my favourites from Ellie though), "West Coast" and "Believer" so far.

Side note: can songs appear on both YE charts in its original form (re: "Lionhearted") and/or original form in the Alternative and remixed form in the Dance YE chart?

EOAR was one of those that I was really into at first but dropped off quickly for me.  "Salt" will probably be higher next year - its still peaking.

Because I can play whatever I want?  There are certain songs of hers that I just think sound good on my Alt playlist and "Beating Heart" was one of them.

HOH, ATY and "Human" will all do better on the dance side, for sure. Re: "Lionhearted" yep.  Pretty sure its going to be in the top 100 dance also in its original version.   That will also be the case for "Addicted To You".  Remixes will be for "Holding Onto Heaven" and "Human".

EOAR was one of those that I was really into at first but dropped off quickly for me.  "Salt" will probably be higher next year - its still peaking.

Regarding your first installment, so great that "On Top of the World", "Lionhearted", "Beating Heart" (not one of my favourites from Ellie though), "West Coast" and "Believer" so far.

Side note: can songs appear on both YE charts in its original form (re: "Lionhearted") and/or original form in the Alternative and remixed form in the Dance YE chart?

HOH, ATY and "Human" will all do better on the dance side, for sure. Re: "Lionhearted" yep.  Pretty sure its going to be in the top 100 dance also in its original version.   That will also be the case for "Addicted To You".  Remixes will be for "Holding Onto Heaven" and "Human".

With numbers 60-51 up now, we are half way through the Alt Countdown for 2014. This section includes 4 of my very favorite bands: Kings of Leon, Silversun Pickups, Interpol and Arctic Monkeys. "R U Mine" is still charting so it doesn't surprise me that it lands at #55. However, the other three I was surprised they didn't end up placing higher. Like Cold War Kids earlier, I was expecting higher placement.  This year I was into a lot of newer acts though and that will become apparent as we move higher.
