Second single from The Pale Emperor, now under cool new music.

Did "Third Day of a Seven Day Binge" even do anything/go for adds?

Great song! Much much better. and if not Alt, why not try his luck on Active? Show the guys from Motionless In White how it's really done. BTW, anyone up on why Marilyn Manson suddenly lost so much popularity?

BTW, anyone up on why Marilyn Manson suddenly lost so much popularity? Because "being goth" is a mere shadow of what it used to be. There is still the odd goth kid out there, but they're much fewer and far between. His music was always rather cult-like and appealed to that trend, and now we've all seen that a mere trend is really all it ever was. Casual radio fans used to appreciate his singles as well, but that's where decline in quality comes into play. He just isn't anywhere near as good as he used to be, just like so many ageing rock acts.

This song is awesome. According to my hears, this deserves to smash on Active, but I know that's wishful thinking. This song has such a great groove to it, it reminds me of a Rob Zombie or Powerman 5000 song.

I'm a little hot and cold on this one. Not bad overall, and I really like the song's heavier elements...but Manson's vocals on the chorus are borderline cringeworthy to me (and they're really up front in the mix).

It's a decent song and I'm a Manson fan. The chorus is kinda eh and I prefer "Third Day" but this deserves to smash still.

the good news is; it's going for adds on Active Rock. I think it will go at least top 30 on Marilyn Manson name alone. If Motionless In White and Avatar can go top 30; then Marilyn Manson should.

This is doing well compared to No Reflection, I think. Didn't that peak outside the Top 20?

It just seems right that Marilyn Manson should go top 5 on Active as the new year commences. This would spell at least one or two more successful singles off The Pale Emperor album.

Well, it's more alternative than "The Hanging Tree". Just like that song, it's top 50 thanks to 4 stations.

I can't help but think of "Since U Been Gone" when I hear the intro to this.

I saw it charted and figured it was on Active, but wait it charted on Alternative?!?! If Manson can chart on there, then why the hell can't a bajillion other bands that used to?!?!

I personally kind of dig the "Deep 666" line" but that's just about it. Not a bad song, but it could be better.
Manson hasn't broke Top 50 on Alt since "Arma-Goddamn-Motherfucking-Geddon" back in 2008, and even that peaked between the 40s and 50s.

I'm really not surprised about this at all though just for the record. Manson has always been a core industrial act (albeit a much less radio friendly one) a la Nine Inch Nails, and alternative hasn't given up on industrial. Besides, this fits with playlists featuring Royal Blood

Marilyn Manson on Alt is great news! Now let's take him top 10. Neither 91x nor KROQ have picked up the song yet, but now maybe they will?

Odd that this charted but Third Day of a Seven Day Binge, which is more Alt friendly, did nothing.

kinda surprised but I'm really digging this one. Don't mind it on Alternative at all since it injects more heaviness but would like to see it sneak up to the 30-35 range.
