This became his breakthrough single in 2006/2007 after several years of attempting a music career. It spent 11 weeks at #1 on Billboard's R&B/Hip-Hop chart and became the #1 single of 2007 on that chart.
Still my favorite by him. So sexy (and much sexier before his sleaziness became so apparent in 2013).

I really like it. His falsetto is effortless enough for me to be okay with it. I love his tone.

Easily my favorite from him. I'm glad he was able to breakthrough with it but I wish he would've kept releasing stuff like this up until present day. I didn't really care for "Blurred Lines" or it's respective era that much. Loved this and everything before it though.

He has at least a dozen other boss nova style sound-alikes in his catalog. That's true. I had meant instead of going to a "Blurred Lines"/"Give It 2 U" sound after a few albums. It took a while for me to get into "Lines" and "Give It 2 U" was terribly generic. Would've been totally okay if he had stuck to this sound for that era. I kind of understand why he did it. My mistake, should've clarified. :)

Fairly decent. I like it better than "Blurred Lines." Apparently, AT40 played in last year in their "2 For 1" segment on the Hot AC version of the show.

He's had a few better singles since, but this was really great too. It was the song that got me to really pay attention to him.
