This was slated to be the second single from her third album, "So Amazin'," but it never got released. It interpolates Bone Thugs-n-Harmony's "Tha Crossroads," as well as adlibs made famous by the Isley Brothers. It sounded like a cheap imitation of the crunk ballads Bryan-Michael Cox was producing at the time, but it's still one of my favorites by her.

The "oh na na"s were also sampled from LTD's "Stranger".
This sound dominated R&B so heavily for a couple of years that it sounds terribly dated, but it was hot when it first came out. I remember looking forward to them releasing this, because it sounded more hit-worthy than a lot of her music. It probably would have flopped anyway though. Would have done better in the hands of someone with a stronger track record.

I liked it but it was Cool & Dre trying to play off the whole JD/Bryan Michael Cox mid-tempo sound at the time. I felt like Twisted should've been the next single but she was A. Dropped right after the release of the album and B. Jeezy had released his album and Don Cannon produced a track using the same Give Me Just Another Day sample from The Miracles.

Love this! Definitely one of the stand out tracks from So Amazin'. I can connect it.
