What an absolutely gorgeous album cover! Wow! Just stunning. I totally missed the fact she was drinking out of a lemon until just now. Interesting...Love it.

Arista wasn't going to let that happen, especially with the stellar sales of "Burning House." I thought Burning House was only selling decently. Not that I'm complaining it's good to see one last contender for 2015 Best Albums Of The Year. "Burning House" is Gold and with it still outside the Top 10, it has a chance at Platinum. All of this BEFORE it goes to pop/AC via RCA Records. Cover Art (not so large):

Cam's album cover is gorgeous. I'm glad we're finally getting this! Does anyone know if the tracks from her EP are going to carry over onto the album? Or will they be entirely new songs? ("Burning House" aside obviously)

I'm in the minority but that album cover is just so busy ... Makes me want to get out the garden shears with those over-hanging fronds

I can't wait for Cam's "Untamed". She really is a great new female singer and she deserves all the success she is getting.

They'd be foolish not to also include Half Broke Heart - that sounds like a smash waiting to happen (although I thought the same about My Mistake - maybe a re-release will be the offering).

I'm not expecting it to do much, but Wynonna is one of my favourites, and it'll have been 13 years in between studio albums. Very much looking forward to getting this.

Technically her last studio album was 2009 "Sing." Yes it was mostly covers but it still counts. Now 2003 was her last album all mostly original music, but it did have a couple covers of Elvis and Journey. In between those 2 albums were a Christmas album and a Live album. But this will be Wynonnas first release of any kind in this current decade. I hope it's worth the wait. I've been a fan since I was a kid. One of my all time favorite artists. Just found this on her website noisetrade.com/stepsoffaith/my-feet-keep-moving-still-songs-to Track #3 "Staying In Love" www.wynonna.com/thebignoise

Artist: Bonnie Raitt Album: Dig In Deep Label: Redwing Records Release date: Feb. 26, 2016
Bonnie Raitt will release Dig In Deep, her twentieth album, on Redwing Records, her own, independent label. The record follows Bonnie's hugely successful 2012 release 'Slipstream', which was one of the best-selling independent albums of 2012 and earned Bonnie a GRAMMY for Best Americana Album — her tenth career GRAMMY win.
“The response to Slipstream was such a refreshing and unexpected boost,” Raitt says of her 2012 project, which garnered the singer-songwriter her 10th Grammy. “So, going into this album, I had renewed energy.”
The 65-year-old wrote five of the tracks on her new project — the most since her 1998 album, Fundamental — after spending two years on the road, performing for her loyal fans. “I was really inspired to come up with some songs that went with grooves that I missed playing in my live show and to dig deeper into some topics I hadn’t yet mined,” Raitt explains. “I don’t write easily and can get distracted, but remembering how satisfying it was to come up with something new of my own, and writing with guys I love — like my longtime bandmates George Marinelli and Jon Cleary — I found that once the wheels started turning, the music came pouring out.
“I’m feeling pretty charged, and the band and I are at the top of our game,” she adds. “I think all these years together pay off, and the best part is that we know how lucky we are to still get to make our livings doing something we love this much.”

Her 1991 single, I Can't Make You Love Me would have been a decent country hit for her. I know that was written by Mike Reid, a big supplier of Ronnie Milsap hits during the 1980s.

Artist: Punch Brothers Album: The Wireless Label: Nonesuch Records Release date: Nov. 20, 2015
According to the band, "You may recognize some of these songs from our live shows or from the bonus fourth side of the double vinyl release of The Phosphorescent Blues. Much like Ahoy! with Who's Feeling Young Now?, we recorded more than we could include on The Phosphorescent Blues so we're glad to be able to share the rest of these with you all."
Punch Brothers was formed in 2006 by Chris Thile. Its first Nonesuch record, Punch, was released in 2008 and combined elements of the band’s many musical interests: indie rock, folk, jazz, bluegrass, classical, etc. In 2009 they began a residency at NYC’s Living Room, trying out new songs and ultimately spawning the Grammy-nominated Antifogmatic. In 2012 the band released Who’s Feeling Young Now? of which Rolling Stone said, “The acoustic framework dazzles—wild virtuosity used for more than just virtuosity.”
The Wireless EP Tracklist:
"In Wonder" "The Hops of Guldenberg" "Sleek White Baby" "No More. Yet" "Clementine"

What even is a Ripcord? What does that mean? Haha en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RipcordI'm guessing the album title is in reference to "the mechanism used to release a parachute" so I guess the album cover will be a picture of a parachute?

It could be resembling something like a parachute opening up, sort of like everything (musical influences) opening up and falling out (sort of what "Fuse" did by mixing pop and country). In that case, The "rip " in ripcord could just be letting it rip so to say. Hope that analogy made sense. That's just my guess lol.

Randy Rogers Band will be releasing new album "Nothing Shines Like Neon" in January 2016 on Rogers' own "Tommy Jackson Records." The label is a reference to an obscure track on his first record. It's a country record produced by Buddy Cannon.

I totally agree with you on that analogy. Very clever. Infuse and let er rip I love it. I love analyzing things like that. I would have never thought of that. Great job. :)

I have the album since I'm part of his fan club. This is amazing. The title track is a Bob Seger sounding rocker. Wild guess is that this album gets an official release to spotify tomorrow or Tuesday. 1. Mr. Misunderstood 2. Mistress Named Music 3. Chattanooga Lucy 4. Mixed Drinks About Feelings 5. Knives of New Orleans 6. Round Here Buzz 7. Kill a Word 8. Holding My Own 9. Record Year 10. Three Year Old
