Artist: Travis Tritt Album: A Man and His Guitar: Live From the Franklin Theatre Label: Post Oak Recordings Release date: Nov. 18, 2016
Multi-award winning artist and country music hit-maker Travis Tritt will release a special live 2-disc CD and DVD, titled A Man and His Guitar – Live From The Franklin Theatre, on Nov. 18. The much-anticipated release, shot and recorded at the historic Franklin Theatre in Franklin, Tenn., spotlights Tritt’s distinctively soulful voice and his exceptional guitar prowess in an intimate theater setting.
The project features Tritt at his best; performing an unplugged solo concert that gives fans the rare opportunity to hear a fresh take on some of Tritt’s biggest hits, including “Help Me Hold On,” “Anymore,” and “Best of Intentions,” in a stripped down, pure form. Previously unreleased renditions of “Come And Go Blues” and “Pickin’ At It" are also included in the program.
Tritt’s discovery that an audience loved to hear him perform songs accompanied only by his guitar served as the inspiration behind the project. In this concert, Tritt acknowledges and pays tribute to artists he grew up admiring and those that were influential to him as he punctuates the release with personal stories and anecdotes from his long career. Select acoustic numbers and humorous moments between Tritt and his guests, Marty Stuart and James Otto, are also highlighted.
More than 25-years after he launched his music career, the Southern-rock influenced artist continues to stay true and relevant to Country music fans across the globe. Last year, Tritt's compilation album, The Very Best of Travis Tritt, continued a trend that started in 2014 by topping the SoundScan Top 200 Catalog Country Albums chart for 50 consecutive weeks with 15 weeks spent at No. 1 and 33 weeks notched in the Top Five.
Over the course of his career, Tritt has produced over 25 million in album sales, two Grammy award wins and multiple No. 1 singles on the country radio charts, including “Help Me Hold On,” “Can I Trust You With My Heart” and “Foolish Pride.” Tritt was dubbed one of “The Class of ‘89,” which included country music superstars Garth Brooks, Clint Black and Alan Jackson, all whom dominated the charts in the 1990s and beyond. Among his eleven studio albums and numerous charted singles are nineteen Top 10 hits including “Modern Day Bonnie and Clyde,” “Here’s A Quarter” and “It’s A Great Day To Be Alive.”
CD TRACK LISTING:

Are the "Road" songs live? I hope not. They are. USA Today and Garth teamed up to give little tastes of each album and you can see all the album covers too. garth.usatoday.com/damn George sounds awesome on that Friends in Low Places clip can't wait to hear it i hope he has a bigger part than the others that i hate are part of the song

Julie Roberts just released a new song on iTunes called "Why Can't I Have You?" and let me say it is great! Shooter produced it and her new album and she sounds better than ever! They released the song now because you can hear it in this season of the Netflix series "The Ranch."
Julie said in her Facebook Live that her and Shooter are looking for a label for the album. They are hoping for an early 2017 release but they want a proper release and promotion. She also said she has a duet with Jamey Johnson on her new album as well as Shooter Jennings.

Way ahead of myself....but do we know if Luke and Chris are planning new albums for the beginning of 2017 (or anytime soon)? Crash My Party saw six singles. Kill The Lights could have the same. If that's the case, the sixth Kill The Lights single would peak way before the A.C.M.s. That said, Bryan could perform a lead single to his next album at that awards show. For Chris Stapleton, I would say that's a trickier case. If they decide to launch another single after Parachute, you can bet the farm it will take a long time to get it up the charts. Or it could fizzle as well.

I think it was in jhomes87 post about labels and their rollout plans for their artists.

I don't think it will be until summer or later though.

And the album is amazing, I've been listening to it and it may be her best work yet! "Love Line", "Remnants", "How To Kiss A Boy", "Learning Your Language" and "Humbled" stand out for me so far, well "The Story" does too but I've been in love with that for a few months now!

Artist: Johnny Cash Album: Broadcast Archive (3 CD set) Label: Broadcast Archive Release date: Nov. 17, 2016
A new unique collection of three CD's worth of 1970's Johnny Cash live broadcast performances and interviews is going to be released just in time for the holidays. One of the most iconic and respected country music performer of all time, the late Johnny Cash had no equal in the field and remains among the most influential musicians of the 20th Century.
The project includes the full Johnny Cash performance from his 40th birthday concert given in Amsterdam in 1972, his Jamboree show from 1976 in West Virginia which also included a plethora of friends and relatives backing the Man in Black
Perhaps the most intriguing portion of the project is the third disc, an entire additional CD of media interviews which display Johnny's dry wit, enormous intelligence and wholehearted compassion, among other attributes.

I ordered the physical signed CD through the campaign and it never came. I just got the digital download that didn't include "Say Goodbye To Superman." I emailed her management and they said they would email a download of the song to me, and it never happened. When I saw her in April though, she told the crowd she would never do another Kickstarter campaign as it is too much of a hassle. She had some kind of distribution deal worked out with her online merch company Richardsons and Southern. However, that must of fell through as the EP was never released and I was (finally) reimbursed a few months ago. I can't tell if that's Julian King in the video or not. (Engineer on her previous albums and co-producer on Me).
