- Yes, the final segment has the Top Three songs so most likely Seacrest has a big interview scheduled to close the show
- Finally, Nick Jonas topped the most recent Mediabase chart but will he be able to top AT40 next week (last time Taylor Swift had a #1 hit, AT40 generously gave "Shake It Off" an extra week at #1 than the printed Mediabase chart)?

I tried to record AT40 so far but any attempts at it have failed thus far.

Who did Seacrest interview in the final segment of the show that resulted in the Top 3 rather than the Top 2 (I want to guess Taylor Swift for some reason)?

And KIIS didn't play all four of the optional extras again so of course I'm missing those too.

It's actually none of the Top 3. Jennifer Lopez is in the studio - in addition to the interview, she "insists" on introducing #1.

Big Interview: I was thinking Taylor Swift or Nicki Minaj but JLo...well, the reason why to call the interview "big" needs no explanation. Seacrest & Lopez is a "two for one".

That is absolutely correct, and an enjoyable oddity. Good observation! There were 12 extras again. We got Animal and Animals, All About That Bass and All About It.
Kind of a slow week. Ryan also talked to Gwen Stefani on the phone. She hopes to appear on The Voice again
some day, and will be releasing a new studio album later this year. Tuesday joins the ranks of top 40 songs, Ruby Tuesday and Tuesday Afternoon, as
songs about that day of the week. I think all the other days are in top 40 titles except Wednesday and Thursday.

Back in 1996, Lisa Loeb and Nine Stories had "Waiting For Wednesday". I can't think of a Thursday hit, though.

According to Radio & Records, #29 in July 1996.

I tried searching for Thursday songs, and came up with a few such as "Thursday's Child" by David Bowie, "Jersey Thursday" by Donovan, and "Sweet Thursday" by Matt Costa, but none that has been a top 40 US pop hit thus far.
