This will definitely peak no lower than #6. It had another great update today (+61 spins), and if it can keep up the pace, it'll eventually pass both Andrew McMahon and Of Monsters and Men. (it'll probably pass Andrew in a few days time)
For top 5 though, it's very competitive. All five songs have bullets and the easiest targets are Dreams and Ex's & Oh's, as they've slowed down recently. Mumford & Sons' song is also having great updates (+40 spins for today), and Tear In My Heart is still trying to get the #1 from Renegades, which is still 396 spins away from 21p. Both the 21p and X Am. songs have also been moving up very slowly too.

Second biggest bullet in the Top 10 (behind "The Wolf") and is the only song, at the moment, that is still increasing in its bullet. I'm probably jumping way too far ahead of myself, but this might have an outside shot of #1, even if it's for like a midweek thing.

This song is really good, and credit to Cold War Kids sticking with it. They have been up and down the doldrums of the alternative chart for quite a while (7, 8 years) with music that was definitely underplayed in my opinion.

I wish someone would remake all their songs bc they're all such good songs, I just can't listen to his voice sliding up and down

Jumps to #6 on Billboard this week. But cracking the top 5, as Daryl said, will be tough.

Realized I'd never posted here, I'm really surprised but also ridiculously happy that this song is getting the success it deserves. I'm now regretting peaking this at #11 on my chart.
I think Hot Coals would make a good third single when this one drops off. I'm hoping it can keep climbing or at least hold on for 21P to drop (out of all the songs above, it seems the most likely) so it can sneak into the Top 5. Even higher would be awesome.

"Hot Coals" is more than likely going to be the third single. I think they usually only send two singles to radio, but with this being a big Alt hit, they have to send another to see if it could do well. I hope this can pave the way for them to have more Alt hits, which they need.
I would love to see "Go Quietly" be released too, but I doubt they'd go four deep.

Didn't realize this was so high on iTunes, it's #150 right now. Good song, too.

I guess I'm the minority here, but I don't hear the big deal. It sounds minimal in the melodic department. It basically carries the same chords throughout the verses and chorus. It sounds very simple. I guess less is more now a days?

not their best song, but if becoming such a big hit helps expose their other material to more people, then i can't complain about that

Hardly any lyrical content, but the male /and especially the uptempo female vocals are really what grabbed me. That ,and what Daryl said about 80's and 90's pretty much covers it.

Officially top 5 on Billboard. With good callout scores (highest net positive and lowest negative), this song is here to stay for at least a few more months. This will hit top 5 on Mediabase tomorrow or the day after.

I think this will block Ex's & Oh's from going #1.

This is probably the only song that could stop Ex's And Oh's from going #1

At #132 on iTunes! I can totally see this going #1 now, which is awesome. I hope they try for a pop crossover too. I can see this doing pretty well on Hot AC, but I don't know about CHR.

I see this having potential on Hot AC. Wouldn't hurt for them to try.

Not sure it has enough of a pop hook for those formats - IMO kind of in the same class as the Black Keys

Up to #3 today after passing Beck, and only 6 spins away from passing Elle King. This song has set a pretty impressive pace out of nowhere and looks like it should be the next #1 barring any sudden collapse of spins.

They kind of sound like a modern day J Geils Band. Don't know why it took me so long to check this one out, but I like it. The chorus is the best part on this song.

If this gets to number one, it will be well-deserved.

Any particular song, cuz I sure don't hear any similiarities to "Centerfold" ,"Freez-Frame", "Angel In Blue", Love Stinks" ,"Come Back",nor "I Do", but I guess I've done some headscratching, comparisons between artsist, in the past myself?
