The Eurovision Song Contest is an annual song competition held among the members of the European Broadcasting Union (EBU), which will be held in Vienna, Austria on 19, 21 and 23 May this year. It will be the 60th edition of the contest.
Participating countries in 2015:
Purple countries: confirmed countries. Green countries: confirmed countries that already have selected their performer and/or song.
Yellow countries: Countries that participated in the past but will not this year. Grey countries: have never participated in the ESC.
Every country has to perform in one of the two semi finals and gain enough votes, to perform in the grand final. Only Austria (host), France, Germany, Italy, Spain, United Kingdom, and since this year Australia will go straight to the grand final, simply because they pay a lot of money.
