- I did allude to The Beatles' "Free As A Bird" as an AT40 hit even though the show was non-existent during this time. Of course, since revisionist AT40 history relies on the R&R/Mediabase charts for their history, "Free" qualifies here.

"Cupid's Chokehold" may be part of the U.S. version only. It did not play on Virgin Radio Dubai or on the AT40 iHeart channel.

I probably would've said it was Sir Paul's first appearance in the Top 40 since the summer of 1989 with "My Brave Face", but I guess he was in with the Beatles at the beginning of 96.

Yes on 1996. "Free As A Bird" peaked at #40 on Casey's Top 40 on 1/13/1996.

A lot of praying going on this week at #'s 15, 10 and 4. Kelly's song reminds me a bit
of Jimmy Eat World's The Middle. Jeremih now doesn't want to tell nobody, not just 'em.
Ryan said that after so much anticipation for new music from Rihanna, we instead out of the
blue get a low key track. I sensed disappointment on his part, but I bet that song goes to
number 1, due mainly to the artists involved.
