This is one of Madonna's best recent songs, she sounds absolutely fantastic. I hope it reaches top 40 like LFL this song deserves all the recognition to be honest

I don't love it but I do like it. The only song on the album that I borderline love is Inside Out.

It's in the iTunes top 200 right now, so that's somewhat encouraging. Stern gave it major props during the interview.
Not counting on any notable chart activity, but I am anticipating the video very much.

I quite like it, but as a single I would release "Bitch, I'm Madonna" next. It's a more suitable track for radio imo.

This is FLAWLESS, it should've been the lead single. The chorus sounds like something Ryan Tedder would do

But at the same time while she's just having fun on songs like BIM, those are the kind of songs that would throw fuel on the "old and desperate" fire.

Has anyone ever noticed at the end of the song in the chorus, there is a male voice singing with her? I can only here it with earphones. It's a nice subliminal touch.

I'n hindsight, yes, it is too bad this was not the lead single. This would've had a better chance than LFL. Of course as 2nd single... well, you know the rest.

Or she could go with Unapologetic Bitch since that seriously does sound like a Rihanna track.

Great pure pop ballad without any gimmicks; it's Madonna being authentic and the result pays off! Catchy as this is, it's not going to be a hit though lmao. That said, if Ariana Grande or Katy Perry released it would blow up. If Lady Gaga released it she'd have her much needed comeback. Hell, even someone like Tove Lo could blow up with this. But not Madonna. She's done at radio! Nothing can be done. Agree. Total HIT but in the US (at the min.) no shot cause it's 100% solo classic Madonna (no rambling rappers or red hot tween duets). Absolutely not gonna work on US radio for endless reasons which have been mentioned 1000s of times. Vogue would have no shot now. :#

Everyone from Adele to Sam Smith to John Legend have gotten hits with ballads, the song isn't the problem.

The beat and production are pretty damn hot and current. ++1! NO idea what they were thinking w/ LFL (imo one of her worst lead singles ever lol) Def. waay down there with AL and GMAYL. Yet, the two latter songs were so bad they were kind of entertaining and I actually gave then the time of day. LFL was just BORING. I'm def. a fan and many, many fans *insisted it was a hit...even some saying its a smash LOL but I instantly heard the polar opposite and omg did I end up being right (unfortunately). Wont go into why but GT is everything LFL isn't but feel w/ an artist like Madonna its ALL about the 1st single. Once it flops radioa nd the public move on ONLY cause of her age..simple as that. Besides GT, the demo of Rebel Heart were/is stellar! Major, major F up that the 'demo' version didn't make the cut. The 'finished' version has 0 shot of being a hit. It was neutered and reduced to lifeless, barely album filler.

AC station WLTW in NY played this a couple of times today.

If LFL couldn't even hit H100 with video release and Grammy performance, this certainly won't. This will probably barely get enough plays to hit Top 100 on Pop. Better to focus on getting the #1 album away from Empire. The song is just OK, certainly not radio-worthy. M needs to schedule a cameo on Empire next season and let Timbaland get her a hit.

I can't believe this is a single and "Masterpiece" never saw the light of the day. That was Madonna best ballad in a decade IMO.

AC station WLTW in NY played this a couple of times today. Three spins so far - at 12:28 pm, 3:29 pm, and 7:19 pm. No guarantees that they will continue to play it that often, but if so, that would be immediate heavy rotation at a station playing its biggest hits 30 times a week. Considering the track has not been serviced to US radio yet, those three spins alone generated about 200,000 audience impressions, and many AC stations could take their cue from big-daddy WLTW's example, I think this is pretty exciting news!

There is a rumor, that there will be an iHeart company-wide initiative for the song starting next week. You think she was going to perform at the iHeart Radio awards and not reap some benefits, other than the performance exposure?

Why is Ghosttown all of a sudden hanging around 150 on ITUNES?? Seems a bit random, was it the Howard Stern interview?

It was weird because it is not just moving down so far like Madonna songs usually do that get a bump from promo…it is moving down and then up as well and hanging around. It would be nice if this song could find a AC or Hot AC minor hit type of following.

The song is wonderful, the notion that what pop actually does play is better than this is preposterous.
