Yes, ED's CD really is that good. Only drawback is their remake of Devil Went Down to Georgia. I hate that song and HOW MANY people have to remake it?

At least Tim's CD has given country music CD sales a kick in the pants after a lousy first quarter compared to last year, but the rest of the year figures to be a VERY bright one for country music from a CD sales standpoint.

Ready to see this finished (whenever you get the time, of course!), to see Strait pass the one million sold mark (I'm assuming he was able to move 3.4K that he needed). Unfortunately, the chart still hasn't been completed over at the source thread. The best I can get you for now is the chart positions, which you will see in the edited chart above. George Strait passed the one million sales mark indeed with more than 7,000 in sales.

Leila, I'm afraid to ask - but how did the Chicks do? It seems they took quite a tumble this week. Do you have their numbers?

Thanks for these numbers. 5 weeks to go for LBT. Aldean will also reach 1 mill sold -- pretty impressive for acts on independent labels.

Wow, 31 country albums in the overall top 200. Is that a record? It seems that I remember a time when about 10 to 12 was the norm.

With 3 top 20 singles including a number 1 and another top 20 song just released, you'd think that this CD would sell better. Maybe everybody already bought the first two singles on "Live." Maybe it's a Texas troubadour thing.

I'm surprised at Jack's sales, too. I thought he'd be much higher. The same goes for Craig Morgan.

I wish more people would get it and discover how talented Jack is. I just hope that 'Measure Of A Man' is bigger than 'Lips Of An Angel'. I think it'll do the album wonders myself.
