Interesting poll.
I went with the fiddle. Can't resist a song that uses it so well. Steel Guitar is a close second. Harmonicas we don't hear nearly enough either IMO.

I personally went with Steel, Fiddle, and the Banjo. Though I love Mandolins and Acoustic Guitar as well.

Definitely steel. Followed by fiddle. And then electric guitar.
I know electric guitar isn't the most traditional instrument, but a phenomenal electric guitar solo can definitely seal the deal for me. A good example for me would be Reba and B&D's "If You See Him, If You See Her". I LOVE that guitar solo so much!! A lot of Reba's late '90s stuff has the perfect amount of electric guitar for me, actually.

Steel guitar is definitely my favorite, but I also love me some fiddle and harmonica.

My Holy Trinity of sorts has always been fiddle, steel guitar, and banjo (in that order). Mandolin and dobro are up there, too, but I honestly can't really tell those two apart (like I don't know when I'm hearing dobro vs. when I'm hearing a mandolin).
