Agreed it's basic, but still, very good video. :)

Such a good anthem...
I'm a guy & I can't be blaring this out in public but, I'll do so in my headphones :)
When I hear it...I picture the brave girls/women in this world who are dealing with ANY type of setback. Whether health issues or domestic abuse etc. And when she sings "I may only have one match but I can make an explosion"
It's OVER...Huge Top 10 on our chart & it's worth all the acclaim it's yet to recieve

And just to add to the comment above me, Rachel has said that it took her over a year to finish writing the song, and during that time she was very close to quitting music altogether. Her first album produced a modestly successful single in "1000 Ships," but it didn't have much of a commercial impact. My point, then, is that although I agree with other commentators that the lyrics are kind of cheesy and cliched, we should also acknowledge that it's still a song that has a lot of meaning for Platten, and many other people as well who are going through adversity.

This song is so mehhhhh. Like, I can love an uninspired or somewhat hackneyed sound if the song is at least well done. This is just a lazy rehash of every mid-tempo throwaway album track that pop singers include on their album when they only have 8 solid tracks. It's like a bad "Roar"; and "Roar" was wildly boring to begin with.

Just love this...love the simple effect of the video. Can't believe she is 30+, she looks WAY younger.

This song sounds so good with headphones, specifically the climax/final chorus. Damn!

This is awful. I don't know how it's blowing up so quick, it's so cheesy.

I think just because it's simple and she isn't really using any gimmicks, it gives people an excuse to say "generic, bland, etc"... As Ms. Platten says, she's doesn't really care if no one else believes. Sell that track boo. I'm thrilled she's finally breaking through.

This is basic as hell. It's exactly the song that a stronger singer could elevate and make amazing, but it's paint by the numbers.
It came on during my workout tonight, and I felt like I was in a deleted scene from Legally Blonde.
Naturally, it will smash and I will seethe.

How many f**kin commercials and sporting events is this thing gonna get? Geez if radios are not gonna play it they're sure gonna find a way to shove it down people's throats.
Edit: the last boost came from Taylor's insta; her power

Yeah, I expect this get at least 80% acclaim. But, hey! Pulse think it's polarizing, and songs that Pulse found polarizing usually smashed

This is a great song, and I've been hearing it fairly frequently on my station. It's very empowering.

But "FourFiveSeconds" for example didn't really "smash". Besides, it was a prelude to a non-successfull era for Rihanna's standards. I mean where is #R8 now?

Wow, up to #3 on iTunes! Given its staggering sales, it's baffling that Pop radio continues to only give this song lukewarm support--it currently has a modest bullet of +308 (#34 overall).

It reminds me of Habits, We Are Young, and others of course. Sometimes radio is a few steps behind the rest of the world so a song by a newbie can have huge sales and streaming and get a lot of attention, but still only crawl up radio until they wake up about a month later and go OH SHIT OUR AUDIENCE LIKES THIS. Give it another week or two and I bet this will start picking up.

There's a simple reason why this song is doing better than Invincible. It's an anthem. Kelly's song is too slow to be an anthem. It doesn't make you want to jump up and sing along.

It's had 2 huge sales surges so far in its run, but I'm surprised that didn't propell it to the top 20 already.
