When Maddie & Tae's "Girl in a Country Song" reached #1 last year, they became the first girl duo in country music to reach the top since The Wreckers also did it with their debut single, "Leave the Pieces," back in 2006. Which #1 debut hit from a female duo do you prefer?

Both songs are incredible, but I have to go with The Wreckers here...really, it was so, so, so close for me.

Extremely close, but I went with the Wreckers. It's a great song but it also brings back memories from 2006.

I love both, but "Leave The Peices" is one of my favorites of the 00's.

"Leave The Pieces" easily. I loved M&T but LTP is one of my favorite singles of the past 10 years!

"Leave The Pieces" easily. I love The Wreckers and I also really love Jennifer Hanson and she co-wrote the song.

"Leave the Pieces" and it isn't even close. I had completely forgotten about it but after re-listening to it I'm hooked all over again. It's just as good as it was when I first heard it. Its certainly a modern country classic. I love "Girl In A Country Song" too though.

I thought this would be closer than it is, but I gotta go with the majority and vote for "Leave the Pieces." Both are great songs, but the instrumentation on LTP is just beautiful and Jessica Harp is one of the best vocalists the country genre has ever had, imo.

Ugh I love both of these so so much. I went with GIACS because of the value it has in today's country music climate, but ask me in a couple years and I may change my vote. Both are fantastic songs though.
