Well callout scores sure will readjust, Lips are moving had incredible callout scores the first time to low a lot in the next weeks. Anyway, this song should be doing way better than it's doing right now. It's the fourth single, i know, but it's the fourth single for a very hot artist with previous hits and whose album continues to sell really well. And the song it's even selling quite well. I could speculate that having two songs on the chart is damaging this, but the truth is Marvin Gaye is other shong which should be doing way better than it's doing on pop Both songs are doing extremely well on HOT AC right now. "Marvin Gaye" is doing better than "Like I'm Gonna Lose You", but both have large bullets for that format. I don't know what to make out of LIGLY doing poorly on Pop radio. In Charlie Puth's case could be a case of reluctancy with a new artist, on the chart right now Shawn Mendes and Rachel Plattern are experimenting it (i know Rachel is high, but reaching that position was painfully hard for a song that it's on the top 10 of itunes for a long long time). Marvin Gaye should be doing way better on pop and probably will explode sooner or later. But LIGLY is a different case, she is an established artist right now, with three hits. The song is facing even more opossition that Sam Smith's Like i can, but with two things that make things worse, LIGLY is doing better than LIC on itunes, and Dear future husband didn't kill the buzz on pop radio like LMD did. Of course Dear future husband had a very weird chart run too, started really strong and it was killed on pop radio while the song was more popular on itunes. Anyway, Marvin Gaye is going to be top 5, and she is closing the era on a big note anyway, but it's quite strange such reluctance when they played her other songs non stop (at least at the beginning). Of course the song has other similarity with Like i can, they are a departure from the song of the previous singles. Even if the song doesn't do as well, it was a necessary release, in Sam's case for showing that he is able to sing uptempos when he is not collaborating with dance artist and in Meghan's case to show that she is way more than doo woop songs

I'm really surprised that "Like I'm Gonna Lose You" is struggling this hard right now even considering the fact that: 1. LIGLY is a slow song that was released in the summer 2. The sound is different from what made her famous
Coming off of "Dear Future Husband" which wasn't as big as her previous two singles but still a top 20 hit, this should be moving faster. I'm hoping this can take off (hoping this can make top 20) now that we're approaching fall, but I'm not really optimistic about this one.
At least in Australia and New Zealand it's smashing...

If it can hang on it should do really well in the fall.
I think it's doing too well on Hot AC for pop to ignore it. She's too hot right now.

this is really popular here in Hawaii, but this does not scream summer song to me at all. Like someone else said, hopefully this can hang on for a few more weeks and slowly rise

This shouldn't be a concern anymore.

I'm not afraid about radio as long as it is holding on iTunes (which it is, now top 30)

It's doing great on HAC, so CHR should follow suit. It is just very much a fall type song I think.

#1 on CHR call outs! 72.8% positive (highest), 31.6% favourite (second highest), 17.7% negative (a fair bit below average), all giving it a 75 pop score, 3 points over #2 The Hills (which is much higher on Pop), and 21 over #3 (Elle King's Ex's and Oh's). Summer is basically over, sales are still going strong, radio needs to start playing this.

The resistance against this song is really surprising. I know it's a fourth single and it's a totally different sound, but it's selling well. Her album continues to sell well and it's probably the album with more weeks in the top 20 this year (behind Taylor, Ed and both Sams), and this song is quite important because it should establish her apart of the doo woop sound of her first singles.
Anyway, this seems to be one of those cases that it doesn't matter if radio wants it or not, it would be a hit (unless it's a Human's case, radio resisted the song enough time, the song lost it's high position on itunes and died a fast death)

I can't believe pop radio is dragging its feet on this so bad, it's keeps on doing better on iTunes yet the updates stink, I hope this gets the AirPlay it deserves, And I still hope they release bang dem sticks, like this song. Very original for her.

It's #39 with a +111 bullet in its 73rd day in the top 50 - as far as adds, I'm not sure how many stations have added this

I figured if it could hang on till Labor Day, it would break through.
It's crazy how that "sounds like a song for the summer" or "sounds like a song for the fall" really is true.

Finally! This looks like it ~may~ be peaking on HAC, but hopefully since it is picking up on pop HAC will follow, and continued good sales

Let's see if my theory of a summer freeze for this is correct.
